Walter: The English Casanova

Rate this book
Walter, the pseudonymous author of 'My Secret Life', displayed in his sexual autobiography a total reversal of all the values and standards concerning sexuality that are commonly held or professed in Western Society. So disturbing were his attitudes that many critics who praised the thruthfulness of Walter's memoirs felt compelled to castigate thye author as a man.

Drs Phyllis and Eberhard Kronhausen do not share this attitude of condemnation. .Instead, in their fascinating analysis of Walter they illuminate the extraordinary range of Walter's sexuality and show why his memoirs - the most detailed and truthful sexual autobiography written (at the time) - will be a liberating and therapeutic influence on the sexual lives of his readers.
