Paranormal Princes #1

Le prince et le garde du corps: Les princes métamorphes, T1

Rate this book

What an uniquely-odd little shifter story.

On principal, I should have hated ocelot shifter Owin, with his selfish, spoiled, overly-entitled attitude; however, I never actually did.

Yes, he was a twat to his appointed bodyguard, Grimm, but I saw a few redeeming qualities early on, so my initial curiosity in regards to the young prince quickly turned to endearment. The stupid and funny shit that came out of his mouth, good lord.

As for Grimm, he was like that genuinely nice guy in school who was enamored with the class bitch. He couldn't explain quite why, it just was.

The book made me laugh a lot and kept me pretty entertained, plus the author "borrowing" the MC's from Macy Blake's "Hellhounds" series, as side-characters, was an unexpected delight. : )

I'd rate the book at around 3.75 stars and recommend this low angst, moderate steam story to fans of shifter stories with a touch of whimsy.

Told mostly in dual POV, 1st person, it's the first installment in the "Paranormal Princes" series and it's not clify. It's enemies-to-lovers, slow burn and angst-free. It's a quick easy read and cute. What I liked most about it was their banter and their sense of humour, it put a smile on my face so many times. If you're going to read this don't expect characters development or a strong plot, it's just for your enjoyment. All in all, I had fun reading it and hope you enjoy it as well!

My rating for this is measured against Cochet’s other works and one of my favorite series, THIRDS . I’ve said this before that I will inevitably compare everything else she writes against my feels and reaction towards that beloved series and it can’t be helped and I won’t apologize for such.

So, yes. This did not come close to the gleeful fun I have everytime I read THIRDS. Perhaps that’s because this is only book one where THIRDS boasts 12 books and a new spinoff about to launch.

However, if you want easy breezy, paranormal fantasy about a very spoiled demanding diva of a cat prince who’s put on a quest to show he’s worthy of his crown and always steadfastly guarded by his gentle giant werewolf bodyguard, then this is an absolute no brainer.

OTT snarky, sassy, all tied up in a mates trope with a dash of smexy - this is classic Cochet fluff. If that’s not your thing anymore I really wouldn’t bother, but sometimes when you know what you’re going to get, this satisfies on all fronts. I will be reading the next for sure because I definitely want to see the King and his steward Jean's story! Although this doesn’t come close to Dex and company, Cochet is still and always will be a favorite author!

The Prince and His Bedeviled Bodyguard is a very sweet, silly, adorable fantasy/shifter book, and though I found the plot to be ridiculous, I couldn't help but smile.

I'm not going to even try to explain this plot, but it involves a quest and some shifting, and lots of canines? It didn't make much sense while I was even reading it, to be honest.

But it's also so gooey! Just a really cute story that will make you smile. And, yes, I know I'm not describing the story well, but if you want a little something entertaining that won't take you long to read, this one is a good one to consider.

This M/M fantasy novella was a lot of fun.

Owin, the prince of the ocelot shifters, is a snarky, haughty, completely divalicious, royal pain-in-the-ass! When he’s tasked by the ruler of all shifters, King Alarick, to undertake a perilous quest, Owin is confident he’s got it covered, even with his vexing werewolf bodyguard, Grimm, frustratingly in tow.

In amongst their constant bickering and bantering, Owin and Grimm go from 0 to 60 in the lurve department. Once their quest kicks into high gear — quickly proving more complicated than they initially expected and more dangerous than they initially bargained for — Owin and Grimm are forced to put aside their differences in order to work as a team to survive this thing intact, all the while growing closer and more romantically attached as they journey onward.

This was short and not overly developed in terms of the world-building or the characters and their relationships, but it was enjoyable nonetheless.

Besides the fun dynamic between these two opposing shifter types, there was plenty of fantasy adventure fun to be had amongst all the princely questing and magical realm jumping that these guys got up to. When it came down to it, it also didn’t hurt that Owin and Grimm were just sexy enough and just romantic enough to satisfy my romance reader needs.

This was just the light-hearted, fun-loving, fantasy romp I needed this weekend, and I look forward to reading more in the series when further releases come out. I’m particularly intrigued by the promise of some fantastic friends-to-lovers sweetness between King Alarick and his dearest companion, Jean, who served as a little teaser for readers as they opened and closed the story.

This was so much fun, an absolute delight. Extremely funny, I laughed on every page and the book now looks like a coloring book because I've highlighted everything possible.
The plot is minimal as is the world building, but everything flows together well so there aren't really any gaps. More important than the plot is the banter between Prince Owin and his bodyguard Grimmwolf anyway.
Oh my goodness, these two are just so incredibly adorable and huggable.
Please don't expect any depth from this little romance, but it's still five stars for me because the book simply made me so incredibly happy.

Owin, Prince of the Ocelot Shifters, is the perfect embodiment of a feline creature. His nature comes across so well, whether in human or feline form. It was just brilliant, this book played out like a movie in front of me.
And Grimm, the stoic wolf, is not a bit taken with Owin and his attitudes, no, not a bit. Oh boy, it's all so hilarious.
Ok here are a few of my favorite quotes. It was hard to narrow them down ...

Owin:
I, Prince Owin of the Ocelot Shifters, regal and pretty, was saddled with an overgrown, hairy dog. This was wrong on so many levels. 🐈🤣🐈

“Humans invented fashion for a reason. Look at me.” I stood tall and motioned to my tailored blue suit and cute little bow tie, which I could totally pull off because I was fabulous. “Now look at you.” Grimm shrugged.
“This is my uniform. It’s what I always wear. Everything in my wardrobe is exactly the same.”
“Exactly!”
“That makes no sense. You make no sense.”
I poked him in the chest. “I don’t have to make sense. I’m the prince.”
“You’re something all right,” Grimm muttered.
🐈🤣🐈

Grimm:
“Do I look like a cat to you? I’m a wolf. We don’t brood.” He paused in thought. “Okay, maybe some of us do, but generally we’re quite cheerful by nature. Unless you try to take our food. That would be bad. I enjoy conversing, smiling, and wagging my tail. Did you know a lot of humans don’t realize wolves can wag their tails?” 🤩🤣🤩

He looked affronted, genuinely affronted. Like I’d shifted into my wolf form and taken a dump in his shoes. Not that I’ve ever done that before. Certainly not to my ex-boyfriend who cheated on me with a two-headed snake.
Snakes don’t even have lips!
😏🤣😏

Owin:
Stepping carefully over his huge paws, I headed for the warmest spot, his belly. Unable to stop myself, I kneaded a little bit. Some instincts couldn’t be helped. I made myself comfortable and settled down, curling into a ball against him, his body heat so good, enveloping me like a heated blanket. 🫠🤣🫠

Grimm:
“I despise you,” he hissed.
“The rocket in your pocket seems to like me fine, judging by the way it’s saluting me right now.” I waggled my eyebrows at him, chuckling at his horrified gasp as he covered his very evident erection.
He let out a frustrated shriek and stomped off. “I enjoy these bonding moments,” I called out after him, big smile on my face.

The Prince and the Bedeviled Bodyguard by Charlie Cochet
Paranormal Princess, book 1. M-M romance novella.

Prince Owin, Ocelot shifter prince. “I was fabulous.” He thinks his bodyguard, Grimm, a wolf shifter, smells like a wolf, “so gross”.
Very diva behavior.
And incredibly funny. Owin keeps hoping to get an annoyed response from Grimm, but all he gets is “that’s adorable” or similar.
Eventually the two go out on a quest where Owin learns he may not be as independent as he’d like and both learn that a little loving goes a long way in making everything better.

Entertaining, and quite a few laugh out loud moments of silliness. Not a deep plot at all but ends with a positive message which I loved.
Just lighthearted fun.

That was absolutely just what the doctor ordered! Charlie Cochet and shifters is a match made in hilarious heaven and this one is a real belter.

I laughed so many times reading the antics of ocelot shifter Prince Owin and his stoic and helplessly in love bodyguard Grimm.

This book is a tonic for anyone who just wants to read a lighthearted romp through a canine filled adventure in which a prissy cat shifter really does find his perfect match in a wolf alpha.

It's sweet, a bit steamy in places, it's hilarious - did I mention how much I laughed yet?! and it's just a light read which had me smiling from start to finish.

My only complaint is that it's too short! I wanted more of this utterly delightful pair. Oh and there's a brilliant guest appearance from Hellhound Solomon, his mate Cody, and Walt from Macy Blake Hell to Pay

I can't wait to read more in the series and to find out what's going on with King Alrick and his steward Jean because there's definitely a tale waiting to be told there!

I almost DNF this story multiple times during the first half. It was all talk, no action; all telling, no showing.

All the characters, including the king of all shifters, talked like teenagers. The constant banter and petty arguments between the MCs were OTT. There was so much of it, it wasn't funny, and I just wanted Owin and Grimm to get on with it already.

Nevermind that Owin was a spoiled, self-centered brat who acted like a petulant child.

But the story did pick up in the second half, and I liked the ending. Owin's change of heart felt abrupt, but Grimm was a good guy.

I'm debating whether to read the next book in the series. I might skip straight through to book 3, because I'm curious about the king and Jean.

2.5 stars, reluctantly rounded up.

It’s been far too long since I’ve read something that’s made me alternately swoon and laugh-out-loud. The fact that it’s written by Charlie Cochet (which means it’s written beautifully) is just icing on the cake!

First in her new Paranormal Princes series, The Prince and His Bedeviled Bodyguard sets the stage of a world filled with humans and paranormal critters alike. Ms. Cochet introduces so many interesting characters, and hints at a wide array of possible future stories - I can’t wait for the next episode to come out.

Total opposites in every way, Prince Owin and his bodyguard, Grimm Wolf, butt heads at every step. ‘Course that can’t keep them from checking each other out, and drooling behind each other’s backs. The UST is crazy hot and I loved the snarky banter between the two. Even after their relationship turns physical, it’s clear how much these two love to push the other’s buttons.

Charlie Cochet is amazingly skilled in getting the nuances of Owin and Grimm’s relationship across, and it kept me laughing the whole way through. Their flirty, witty banter never stops, and it was wonderful watching them get together.

I’ve got my fingers crossed that The Prince and His Bedeviled Bodyguard is going to be made into an audiobook. Prince Owin’s frisky personality is adorable and I can’t wait to see who’s going to narrate this wonderful story.

Pure and simple FUN! This short story isn’t complex or deep but it sure was a blast. I giggled and smiled so hard my cheeks hurt. And lately, simple pleasures are priceless. I’m a sucker for a good shifter story and Cochet presents a fresh unique take with the Paranormal Princes series. A quirky king and his right-hand man create an uproarious matchmaking tale of tails.
Prince Owin is a spoiled brat with a soft center hiding behind his sassy brass exterior. The time for his quest has come and he’s saddled with a bodyguard for the trip. A particular canine bodyguard that drives him crazy. Grimm is fabulous and I fell for him early on. On the other hand, Owin takes a bit to warm up to. However, I do love persnickety kitties and Owin excels at high maintenance. Luckily for him, Grimm can’t resist the fussy feline.
They begin their adventure and strive to achieve every task to finish their challenge. The witty dialogue kept me laughing the entire time. I’ve enjoyed some of Charlie’s matchmaking in the past and this was no exception. This unlikely pair is put to the test and must take a chance to succeed. Overall, I found it to be charming and delightful. Better yet, I couldn’t wait to move along to the second couple in the series. I’d call that a win-win!

Beware of: An out of this world lighthearted and fun-loving adventure. Plan on low steam but lots of laughs. And opposites attract and prove love is boundless.

This book is for: If you enjoy paranormal romance and need something to lift your spirits, why not try this jovial jaunt with a prince and his bodyguard? It’s a howling good time!

Lorraine, Lorraine, Lorraine. What would I do without you? See, I was going to pass on this book because of so-so reviews and just a "meh" status. But not for my friend Lorraine's review, I would have missed out on a fun and sweet read.

I'm not a fan of enemies to lovers or generally "I hate you! But I want you! No I hate you! But seriously, I want to shag your brains out!" kind of book. Oddly enough, I was actually captivated from page one. Even Owin's snotty, bratty behavior only endeared him to me more. Go figure. And Grimm *sigh* what an awesome and perfect hero. He saw something in Owin that others haven't seen and knew he would make a fine prince.

I'm super excited there's more to come with other princes but can I just say, I want the king and Jean now. Friends to lovers is another of my no-no reads but hey, if Charlie Cochet made me want it, it's got to be good.

I am in a minority here and it physically pained me to give this 2 stars, but I really disliked Owin. He was a total drama llama. He seemed self-absorbed and self-serving. When I reached half of the book, there was a slight change in his attitude, but it was too late for me. I skimmed the pages from then on. I liked Grimm though. He was way too patient than he should have been. There were moments that made me laugh though, so it was not a total miss for me. I enjoyed the quest a bit especially interactions between King Alarick and his steward Jean. I would so love to read their story which I am sure will be told one day. All in all, some things worked for me here but most did not. I am so mad at myself since I love Ms Cochet's writing! *sigh*

Short, but SO much fun!

First of all: thank you Drusilla for putting this in my goodreads feed. Not only has it made me laugh out loudly, the audio version is narrated by no other than Greg Boudreaux, and we all know he’s one of the best voice actors out there.

Yes, it’s short. You can’t expect Shakespearean depths from a book that’s only 134 pages long. But it’s fun, SO MUCH lighthearted fun.

It’s the story of Prince Owin, an ocelot shifter, who’s sent on a quest by the king of all shifters together with his bodyguard Grimm(wolf) of the Grimm Wolves pack. During this quest, things… happen. And I was all here for it - for Owin’s cat-ish behaviour, all skittish and moody and hissing and purring, and for Grimm’s patience, protectiveness and possessiveness.

Their bickering… chef’s kiss 👌

“I’m a deadly weapon. Silent but deadly.”
He barked out a laugh.
“What?”
“Silent but deadly. Pretty sure you just described a fart.”
I rolled my eyes. “You’re so mature.”
“And you’re silent but deadly. Like a fart.”
“You know, I should have given this whole mate thing more thought.”

Absolutely recommend it - I’ll even give it 5 stars, even though it’s not THAT deep. It gave me exactly what I wanted and expected, and I smiled all the way through it 🥰

This was a quick, fun novella that sets up a new shifter series. There was just enough given to intrigue me about the world-building and the characters that will be appearing throughout the series.

Owin is the bratty, seemingly self-centered Prince of the ocelot shifters and Grimmwolf is his indulgent, enjoying himself at Owin's dismay, bodyguard who is more than just a regular old wolf shifter. I had a lot of fun seeing Owin put in his place and starting to realize that just maybe he should look a bit closer at the world around him. The romance moved quickly (it's not a long book), but it's a shifter/mate story so I was all good with it.

Even more intriguing than the two MCs are the mischievous and oblivious Alarick, King of all shifters and his devoted and somewhat mysterious, manservant Jean. I can't wait for more of ther relationship!

I loved this!

I can't think of one single thing I didn't like about it truthfully so I am just going to give it all the stars!

This read just like a Fairy Tale type story should read. Spoiled Prince and his Knight in Shining Armor on a quest and of course they fall in love.

Gah!

I can't wait for more in this series!

So, yeah! I was so super excited to find at the end of this book she referenced a series by Macy Blake which I started immediately (and finished the first book at the time of this review) only to discover it is too a sort of spin-off of another Macy Blake series ...which I think might be out of my comfort zone but I might just do it anyway!

I've found a new happy place for the next few days and I love it!

While I liked the banter between Owin and Grimm, I felt as if I was dropped in the middle of the story and never really caught up with everything.

There was hardly any world building and I was often left wondering why something happened or why someone did this or that.

I also thought it was strange that Grimm had been Owin’s bodyguard for months before this story started. I felt quite disconnected, especially when Owin or Grimm would remember something from that time and I as a reader wasn’t there for it.

I was also left wondering why it was exactly that Owin needed a bodyguard. And why that was Grimm. If it was mentioned, I didn’t catch it.

I did like it how Grimm made Owin see how obnoxious and self-centered he was being. Even though the way Owin acted was so OTT arrogant, it was kind of adorable.

The banter between these guys was fun, but the romance felt a bit underdeveloped.

I get that this is a short story and there can only be so much world building and character development before you run out of pages, but I was still a bit disappointed in this.

If the other books feel this underdeveloped I’m not sure I should continue.

ETA 1/2/20 - OMG YOU MUST GET THIS BOOK IN AUDIO! Greg KILLS IT, might be my favorite narration from him and OMG I would have never picked this one haha. SO SO GOOD.

First of all, this quote, is just everything:

"That night he gave himself to me without hesitation, and in return, I let him have my heart. There was no sense in keeping it now. It belonged to him."

Oh my heart! It melts! And ohmygoodness! This was adorable! Sweet, quirky, HILARIOUS, sexy, and just fun. Charlie Cochet is just one of my favorites for snark, banter, and humor between characters in her writing. Her characters are just hilarious, but not overly so where it feels forced. I enjoyed the bits of world building in this, and found this entire novella refreshing and bright.

Owin is an ocelot prince. He's fierce. And silent and deadly (y'know, like a fart). A bit snotty. And completely adorable. Super snarky, especially when it comes to his bodyguard - alpha wolf shifter Grimm. Grimm is just completely gone for Owin, I just loved all the emotion he felt towards the prince.

But can I just say that the king and Jean totally steal the show at the end? THEY need a story! Pronto!

Can't wait for more in this series, I think it's going to be loads of fun!

Ugh.
One of the MC’s was so irritating that I just couldn’t put up with him: bratty, entitled, rude.
It didn’t change until near the end.
It ruined what could have been a cute story for me.

I enjoyed this short little tale.

Owin was certainly hard to like at first, and he still had annoying moments later on, but I think he definitely improved and a little more of his charm came through.

This was certainly funny, and made me laugh several times throughout, which is always a plus.

Grimm was great from start to finish, although I felt he should have given Owin more of a piece of his mind. Owin would have definitely deserved it. Even though we come to understand why Owin was acting how he was acting with Grimm, that still doesn't excuse his childish, bratty, spoiled behavior - and seeing as he acted that way a few times with others beside Grimm, it wasn't just Grimm.

One of the MC's being unlikable made them hard to root for, and it made their moments of connection not felt as much for me, because I didn't understand what Grimm was seeing in Owin aside from the physical. Although Owin did have one moment in the beginning where he showed he had some kindness underneath the snobbery.

I think if you stick with this short tale - easy to do, seeing as this is a novella - then you'll get to when Owin changes for the better and he and Grimm start to make sense and have chemistry.

So overall, I liked this and enjoyed it. Owin was a hard sell at first, though, so I didn't love this. And I had a question at the end -

But, this was a fun, entertaining tale and if you look at it as that, this is a good read overall. Recommended!

All reviews are voluntary and my honest opinion.

I'm surprised this book is 122 pages. It absolutly flew by.
That's my one point of contention. I could tell Charlie Cochet was having fun writing this. The banter and back and forth were excellent, as was the premise. The book itself read like an outline. I really needed more content. The characters jumped from portal to portal, and the quest felt felt insubstantial. It was really just a hike to various locals letting Owin and Grimm get closer via Halloween jump scares. (Owin is amazing, btw.)

I just wanted a real quest. Danger, adventure, R.O.U.S. I have no issue with novellas and short stories, this just read like something that needed to be more substantial. As usual, as long as Cochet creates charismatic and amusing characters, l'll continue reading her work.

Owin is adorable. He's a feisty ocelot prince with pure feline attitude. Hissing, clawing, tail thrashing. His personality shines. The King and his adviser also add a bit of intrigue, their relationship and ust acting as a frame for Owin and Grimm's quest.

I do not know why I waited so long to read this book.

The characters in the book made me laugh out loud al thorough out the story l and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Prince Owin and Grimm were perfect for each other. Owin was so friggin cute..(errmm sorry "fierce!!" Lol!) and Grimm matched him boot for boot.

My only issue here was how short this book was which naturally led to some pretty quick feelings developing.

Nonetheless, I enjoyed it and will be continuing with the series because I need to know what other mischief King Alarick has in store for his subjects!

A king of all shifters sending the future rulers of his different subjects on quests to prove their worthiness before they get acknowledged. This time it's the ocelot prince accompanied by his wolf bodyguard … sounds like one of those fairy tales I can't get enough of and to a certain degree it is. It has the light simplicity a fairy tale distinguishes itself, the characters are not necessarily detailed individuals and the situations they found themselves in are easy to understand and serve a higher purpose and what this book lacks in case of the dreamy quality of a fairy tale it compensates with fun in spades.

So who cares that the ocelot could easily be a serval or fishing cat as long as he shows the prickly and haughty quality we connect with a smaller cat and what does it matter that the wolf behaves more like a big dog. It's the opposites-attracts principle that makes this a fun read and what better example than having a cat and a dog bickering on their journey through different quest stations and with each stop the cat has to show more of his true, caring nature so both can be at the end what they are supposed to be at the start.

However The Prince and His Bedeviled Bodyguard is not only a fairy tale but also a romance and that makes it a bit difficult to review and rate because what I enjoy in the one I often won't in the other e.g. that a lot of Owin's and Grimm's connection took place already long before the book starts is okay for a fairy tale but for a romance not so much because that makes the final falling in love feel like it was more some kind of insta-love and they just didn't acknowledged it or that the character development at the different (and a bit too quick) quests stops comes fast and predictable is completely fine for a fairy tale but reading a romance I like more depth, more struggle.

So in the end this book is a fun read with across the board adorable characters, nothing more, nothing less.

The Prince and His Bedeviled Bodyguard (Paranormal Princes #1) by Charlie Cochet

Within reading the first chapter I was hook, line and sinker by the humorous tone , snarky banter , sexy times and quirky plot of The Prince and His Bedeviled Bodyguard

This story have some of the BEST one liners and puns I have read in a long while , Charlie Cochet comedic timing is on point!

Reading this book was not only entertaining , it was a true pleasure , as it took all my worries and fatigue away leaving me with a big happy and content smile on my face. I was so relaxed that it even lower my blood pressure, true story.

I cannot wait to read all the upcoming books of this awesome new series.

I honestly don't know what to do with this novella. It started out BEAUTIFULLY with King Alarick and his adviser Lord Jean Eldrich - best friends who are BOUND to be lovers but the story wasn't about THEM it was about Price Owin of the Ocelot Shifters and Grimmwolf of the Grimm Wolves pack. While Grim usually downplays his heritage he is pretty up there in the food chain as well as the monarchy (if it can be called this way) even though he is "merely" Price Owin's "bodyguard" though I'm not sure what he needs body-guarding from (himself?)

It's time Prince Owin shows his worth in a quest. Failing means loosing his crown, but he isn't worried, he is sure he can get what he wants. After all he is a prince, others should bow down to him and do his bidding. Including or mostly Grimm. He can't stand him, can't stay away from him and generally doesn't know what to do with him. Grimm just stand there on the side smiling because he has figured Owin a LONG time ago and instead of being offended he is simply AMUSED (which annoys Owin even more).

I understood what the mission was all about right from the start, it was quite obvious really, but I can't say I enjoyed the ride as I disliked Owin. I COULD see what Grimm found in him, but for me he acted like a 4 years old almost the whole length of this novella. Well, if you exclude a bit of the sexy times between him and Grimm. He was EXTREMELY immature and entitled, I didn't find it appealing or find him to be a "hero material". Sorry.

While I wasn't a fan of this novella, I can't wait to see what Charlie has for the next novella, and especially what's going to happen between King Alarick and Jean! I'm a HUGE fan of Charlie's THIRDS series as well as many of her other contemporary / suspense novels so I don't take my thoughts of this novella too seriously. Sometimes it's like that. We can't always love everything.

I kindly received this ARC in exchange for my honest opinion.

These past few days have been somewhat chaotic, so I wanted to read a novella that would cheer me up and guess what? This gave me so much more!

The Prince and His Bedeviled Bodyguard is a lovely romance between Owin, the shifter prince of the Ocelots, and Grimm, his shifter wolf bodyguard. Owin, with his pretty blond hair and his beautiful features, feel entitled to basically everything –as any cat would do. He’s presumptuous and a diva from head to toe, yet he is kind on the inside and he really cares about his people. Grimm is just the opposite; he’s the cool, easy going guy that thinks before acting and whose family bonds are the most important thing in the world. So, as you can imagine, they turned out to be one of my favorite couples.

King Alarick, the King of all Shifters, along with Jean, his advisor and best friend, send them on a quest, so Owin can prove himself and earn his crown. Now, to be quite honest, the plot is really easy to follow and with each passing chapter, Owen grows into a more mature prince. He was a good guy from the beginning but he felt entitled to everything he did and so, seeing him understand that he has to become a better prince, is just the cherry on top.

What I really loved about this book was the relationship between Owen and Grimm. Owin is the lovely tsundere guy, and more often than not I found myself laughing because I saw a little bit of myself in him. Grimm is just my type of guy and together they have the perfect mix of banter, sweet, sexy and funny moments as well.

It still amazes me how an author can write such a good story in a few pages but I guess that’s the beauty of novellas. I was smiling like an idiot for the most part and I also can’t wait to read the story between Alarick and Jean, since I get the feeling they’re gonna be a couple too.

Anyway, I totally recommend you to read this! I’m sure you’ll have a nice time with these beautiful, light-hearted characters!
