Whitley has finally escaped her gilded cage, but she isn’t prepared for life on the outside. Working at a strip club seemed like a good idea, especially since they don’t ask a lot of questions. But one night a handsome stranger makes her an offer she can’t refuse, and things get complicated.
Mack’s been hired to find the daughter of one of the world’s most dangerous crime bosses. On paper it looks like an easy job, but when he finds Whitley, there’s no way he’s taking her home. Stealing her wasn’t the smartest idea he’s ever had, but letting her go isn’t an option.
Warning: Is kidnapping a love language? If so, these heroes are fluent! Pack a bag and stay a while because these guys aren’t letting you go anywhere.

The last of the Reins brothers, Mack finally meets his match. Whitley escapes from her golden cage of her father's house. The only thing she knows is to dance, since it was the only thing allowed from her father, was ballet dances.
Mack is hired, from her father, to find her. As soon he meets her, he's hooked. And, of course, the house lake, once again is going to be, the love nest for these two, as it was for Lawson, in the first book.
Safe No cheating No OW unwanted OM (h had no idea how the her bodyguard was actually a villain and wanted her, he worked for her father and wanted to take over and have Whitley whether she wanted him or not. She had no idea, she thought he was just a bodyguard that was friendly to her). virgin h no history at all on H No separation HEA Whitley escapes her father's gilded cage in search of freedom and living life how she wants it. She had one outlet, ballet and dancing, so when she escapes, she goes to a strip club to earn money but she doesn't dance, she serves drinks there. Mack, the third brother was hired by Whitley's father to find her and bring her home. He does find her, but he has no intention of bringing her to her father, he intends on keeping her for himself, for life! In book 2 we heard the conversation between Mack and one of his brothers and it could have been off putting if I didn't trust Alexa Riley. It was when he was at the strip club and told him, "I hope it's my dick I get stuck in someone's ass crack". He said that to get his brother off the phone so he could continue looking for Whitley. If it weren't an Alexa Riley novel, I would have skipped this novella thinking that Mack was a man whore. There is no history on his past, but he does not give me the impression to be a player, he doesn't look at other dancers, he is focused on his Whitley. There was no kidnapping or stealing of the dancer, he offers her protection and she goes willingly. I thought we were going to get a good ol' fashion kidnapping, (caveman, you are mine! putting his woman on his shoulder and taking her to his safe house). It's ok though, their meeting is sexy, she does give him a lap dance and he is just drunk with want for her. She is sexy, confident in her body and her movements, but shy in her inexperience yet curious and wants Mack, but she is still on the run so she has a lot on her mind. He pays thousands of dollars for just a few moments of her dancing for him and I don't think it was for the mission, it was because he wanted to be close to her, one way or another. She decides to trust him and he takes her to the safe house. Their love story continues with drama at the climax of the book (nothing to do with their love and trust for each other, that is unbreakable), remember the OM that wants Whitley for himself? Yeah. He finds her and wants to kidnap her, but Mack does not let that happen! Her father sees the error of his ways, he does love his daughter and planned on little by little getting out of the underground, dangerous life, to protect his daughter, but he was too suffocating and she couldn't take it anymore. He is a good man, and does love his daughter very much, which was good to see. He actually hired Mack for a reason, little did Whitley know that her dad is a matchmaker! *wink wink* He knew Mack would fall for his daughter and fight for her come hell or high water. This was a good read, I enjoyed it. I think I liked the second one better, but it was an enjoyable read with some sexy scenes! Happy reading!
Of course the dude MC is going to track down the girl for the stupid father and then fall in love blah blah blah. Good read, albeit the dad magically being okay with everything in a planny way at the end just didn't make sense but whatever #helicopterparents
Relatable: - “Whit, you got this,” my roommate Quinn says, and I know it’s because she’s trying to cheer me up.She’s the closest relationship I’ve got that isn’t controlled or contrived, and that’s pretty messed up because I’ve only known her for seven months. - “Is it weird to run from something and then miss it too?”
Funny notes: - We cleared the schedule so that Lawson could get married. Why not take advantage of it this week and do something fun?Like organizing your socks. - “I mean, at some point you’ve got to decide how we proceed with this.I can get you a new identity that protects you from everyone and everything, but it’s pointless if eventually you want to have contact with your father.” - “No,” Mack cuts in on the vows suddenly, and I blink at him.I was lost in the memories of the years we’ve spent together, and I missed what Lawson said.“Not till death does us part. That won’t even take her from me.” (lmao what is this possessive bs)
Smut notes: - “Don’t stop touching me.”I grip his shoulder so he can’t let go. I’m starved for affection, and now that I’ve found someone I want to do it with, I don’t want to stop. - “You gonna let me cum in you?”My cock throbs at the suggestion. “I’m not on anything,” she admits, and it’s like she’s getting wetter.“I could get pregnant.”The thought of breeding this sweet cunt has me grabbing her ass and going as deep as I can get.“That’s not a no.”
Stealing the Dancer, Book 3 of an untitled series, was about Whitley Baxter, the daughter of Roy Baxter, "one of the world's most dangerous crime bosses", and Mack Reins, the youngest of three brothers who co-own the Reins Detective Agency. Sheltered her entire life and rarely allowed to leave the gated home in which she was raised, Whitley finally found a way to escape. The only problem was that she couldn't share her true identity with anyone willing to employ her, so the only job she could get was as a server in a strip club that was willing to "pay her under the table". This story was a little more far-fetched than the first two, especially the way it ended. The daughter of a kingpin ran away, and got found not long later by a PI hired by her father, only for them all to get caught in the crossfire with traitors...and everyone was okay with that outcome? Even the mob boss? Yeah, I can't see that going down quite as smoothly in reality as it did in the story. There was some angst, a lot of drama, and a tremendous amount of corny twists and turns that just didn't gel together as well as they should have. The book needed more grit, more content, and a better plot than it had. The characters were a bit more underdeveloped than those of the first two books, and they weren't quite as believable. There was just too much about them that had a fake ring to it and was too hard to swallow. I ended up giving this story a 3.5-star rating, rounded up to four. I'll add it to the Keeper for the Shelves collection, but only because it goes with the first two in the series.
HERO /HEROINE: Whitley’s entire life was lived behind the walls of her powerful father's estate. She wasn't allowed to leave the property, go to school or college. She had teachers at home and that was it. Now that she's seven months free and working in a strip club saving up for a fake ID,, she's trying to experience as much as she can before her father finds her and inevitably drags her home.
Mack is the youngest brother and is working at his family's detective agency.
OVERALL THOUGHTS: This was very different than the other books in this series. Whitley is bot a character that talks back or gives sass. She's a serious girl, naiive but she does her best to stay strong. For the most part she does.
FAVORITE QUOTES: “What the fuck did you do to my princess?”he growls. “Nothing she didn’t beg me for.” -Mack is asking for an ass beating. Lol
SAFETY
AGE: Whitley is 21 and Mack is in his 20s.
SEXUAL HISTORY: Whitley is a virgin and it's never mentioned if Mack has ever dated or had sex.
CONDOMS: No
TUMMY BUTTERFLIES: 🦋 4 /5 Mack played just the tip on the couch with Whitley and I loooooved it. He was pretty filthy and possessive.
PUSH/PULL: Yes, Whitley tried her best to pull away from Mack in the beginning.
First of all, the title is totally incorrect. STEALING the Dancer? No no no. He did not steal her, nor did he kidnap, abduct, or do anything else nefarious to her. He showed up at the strip club where she worked, overpaid for a lap dance (side note—how did a girl as completely sheltered as Whitney know how to give a convincing lap dance??), and then came back the next day to say she was in danger… at which point she totally went willingly with him. Then she gave up her virginity to a stranger she’s known for 20 minutes, but it’s cool, because the both totally love each other after 30 minutes.
Not at all what I was expecting or wanting.

°Virgin heroine/non virgin H °Switching POVs °Insta love/lust °No OW/OM drama °No separation °No cheating or scenes with OP °Epilogue: at least 5 years later -married with a kid and twins on the way
I loved this story. It had a lot more excitement and danger than the previous books, but it was just as hot. Talk about finding your one in just a glance. I liked that they were on the same page. Loved their epilogue!

Another great read. It's really fun, heartwarming, and of course with an OTT Hero that falls in love at first sight and do everything he can to keep her safe. Highly recommended
