Necessary Roughness

Rate this book
When Lynette's worst fear comes true and her girlfriend loses her job because of discrimination, she's forced to step back and take a harsh look at her own prejudice. As a full figured, bi-racial lesbian she has faced bigotry all her life. The fact that she hasn't been willing to try and understand Trisha's penchant for BDSM has her angry at herself and willing to do whatever it takes to make the oversight up to her partner. Even if it includes a little necessary roughness.

This is a very short story, mostly about facing your own prejudice and fear. Trisha and Lynnette are a happy couple, committed and in love. While Trisha enjoys BDSM, Lynette absolutely refuses to even consider the idea, let alone try anything. When Trisha is passed over, harassed and then fired due to her sexual orientation, it makes Lynette reconsider her own attitude. What follows is the short, very hot introduction of Lynette to a little light BDSM. What makes it better is that she realizes she is being prejudiced, judging before knowing about it. That was sweet.
