I can not believe that I am damn near giddy over this series. THERE IS NO SEX FOR GOD'S SAKE AND I DIDN'T MISS IT. I am writing in caps because I need to remind future me that highlands can be awsome without sex.
Edeen is the sister of the family of magically gifted highlanders from the first book. She has been sleeping for 700 years and is awakened by the bite of a vampire that finds her in a cave. She finds herself without her beloved brothers and awakened during the height of Nazi power. It's a fast moving story with tons of meat for a long novella. I didn't want it to end. I loved every chacter Edeen came to befriend especially her vampire. Wait, is he just a vampire???? It's craziness what Ms. Autrey has done with a lean cast and maybe 200 pages.
I highly recommend this one to lovers of time travel and highlanders. Like the first book, this one ends abruptly but not as a hard cliffhanger. It seems that Ms. Autrey is going to write about the fate of the four siblings and bring them together in a final book. I hope she writes fast because I already miss Edeen and really want to know what became of the brothers.

Enjoyed this second book. It’s a fast read and can’t wait to read the next.
I like how real events are used as background, and the characters use of them.

Roque is a very special vampire. He is the only one who can awaken the sleeping beauty.
Many hundreds of years have past while Edeen has been sleeping. Roque Woke her to a world at war. It is 1940 dark magic has a hold. Trolls, Gremlins and Vampires are well known by the people.
There is an evil Nazi and his henchmen after Edeen for her special abilities. Roque is determined to save her from the monstrous Nazi who has tortured him for years.
This would definitely have been a very scary world. So someone has to go back in time to fix it. This story has a very unusual hero. Our heroine I think has lots more to do before this series is done.

Stunning,amazing and wondrous
I loved this book, a wondrous romp through time, with dragons , vampires, empaths and trolls. In no way could I be persuaded to put this book down, read into the night, only falling asleep because I knew the next in the series was waiting for me on the morrow.

Well written and gripping. Quickly got and kept my attention. I gave it four stars because it left me wanting a little more. I like the characters and the narrative, I just want a bit more to the story. I need to find the others in the series and get them!

Book two in the Highland sorcerers series, this one with a vampire-dragon-man and the Scottish sister, who is an empath, set during WW Two. Good continuation of book one, with winning characters. Total suspension of disbelief and complete buy-in to a monstrous world needed.

I loved it. I expected this to be a romantic smut book. However, this book is all about clean romance. I couldn't put it down so I read all four books. So good.
