About the author

Xavier Edwards (it might be his real name, no one is really sure) has spent his life surrounded by women, and writing. Growing up in rural Australia before the age of the Internet and cable television, there was no better refuge than in books. Any and all genres were absorbed as he and his three sisters grew up far from the hectic pace of the big smoke. The wide expanse of open country and natural beauty have carried across to his writing, forming evocative backdrops to the sensual dance taking place in his stories.

After leaving school, Xavier joined the military and has served with honour in the Air Force, from leading brave men and women into combat to searching for, and finding, people lost at sea. Joining him on this journey has been his wife, three daughters, and two cats.

Behind it all, Xavier continued to write. Freelance journalism proved lucrative and gave him his first taste of a readership that found his writing engaging and evocative. The imagery that continued to dance through his mind, would not suit this audience and when he did write it down and gave it to a small, trusted circle of readers, it had amazing results. Quite by accident, he had discovered a knack for Erotica.

The thing with Xavier's short stories is they have you begging for more, in a good way. They are full of hot erotic scenes and unlike others, are believable. Seeking Something is just delicious, written so you can almost feel each touch and that's what makes Xavier such a fantastic writer, to present a scene that puts you, the reader right there in the 'action'. Very yummy!

Seeking Something More is a short story about a couple seeking something more in the bedroom. They place an ad and meet a beautiful woman who provides that something more.

This was an interesting read. It had a dreamlike quality to it. A fantasy if you will.

I debated between 3 and 4 stars before deciding on 3.5 and rounding to 4. I would have liked more build up to the actual meeting of the "something more". I think I would have gotten more into the characters and what was going on if I knew a bit more about them. I really liked the ending. I thought it was a nice touch with the card and was it a dream.

A quick, hot read with a surprising amount of depth for a short story. The pacing was excellent. I'm a recent fan of Xavier's work, but will definitely be reading more :-)

This is a short story about a couple that just needs to bring a little more spice to their bedroom. They place an advertisement in the personals and thankfully got exactly what they needed. Well developed and well told so that it feels like a recollection of a true event. I’m glad that you could feel that the couple was actually “learning” to fulfill each other’s needs, not just a one time 3-way action event.

A very quick, well written story, by a self-published author that definitely has a talent for writing!

Not just a typical cherries and whipped cream story.

The book tells about the story of a couple who wanted to improve their relationship, deciding to put up an ad for it. A sexy and beautiful woman answers their ad and brings the couple to do stuff they never thought would be a hell of a pleasurable experience.

Yet short, I'd have to be honest that this actually made pant and all sweaty as the images of the scenes played on my mind as I read it. A definite must-read!

Another quick hot.....read. It is a short story packing a punch.

I found it believable and think Xavier pretty much nailed it as to how a couple would/could react when actually put in the same situation.......acting out a fantasy does not always go as planned! Thankfully for this couple it ended well.

I intend to read more by this self published author and wish him well :)

Having only a two chapter excerpt to tease me, this little charm is making me want the rest of the book and quick! Will be on the hunt to finish, but quick to the sex on this one! Nice n steamy. Keep 'em coming Xavier.
