Words can not possibly describe how wonderful this book is, but I will try my best. This book will take you to a whole new level of fantasy and it will make you re-think what fantasy truly is and how real it can be. I consider my imagination to be very impressive and very good at seeing what the author wants you to see. However, there were times in this book that I was actually shocked that I thought my imagination wasn’t good enough. Times where I wish the author would have put pictures of the descriptions because what she described was so amazing I wanted to actually be there and see it for myself. I can honestly say that I have never felt that way with any of the books that I have read in my life. It is not just the imagination level of fantasy that this author has that makes these descriptions so impressive, it is the way she describes them.
While the fantasy of this book is very impressive, the story line, mystery, and the characters are as well. The story line is wonderful and very addicting. I found myself enjoying the fun of the descriptive chapters as much as I enjoyed the informative chapters and the mystery that is always tagging along and waiting to be unveiled. The characters are absolutely amazing! They have very natural human like personalities and humor that you can not help but fall in love with. The characters are what make this fantasy novel seem more real by the second because even though they are from a different time period, they still have conflicts, life decisions, and faults, just like people today. The characters are what make this novel seem like there could really and truly be this other world that we have yet to find today.
All in all I absolutely loved this novel. It was amazing! I felt every emotion possible while reading this book and it was down-right fantastic. I can’t wait to get my hands on the next novel. To all you fantasy lovers out there you have to pick this book up, it will amaze you. If you are a fan of fantasy thrillers such as Harry Potter, Twilight, or The Night Huntress Series, you will love this book. Hope you try it out and hope you love it as much as I do!

Angels and Warriors is a wonderful fantasy story, with an excellent female protagonist. The author paints a beautiful and exciting mythical realm that dances on the vaguely familiar, then throws us into the excitingly new and unique. I eagerly await the sequel!

The Awakening is the first book in the Angels & Warriors series by debut author, Dawn Tevy. You’ll instantly get pulled into the exciting storyline where legend and magic become intertwined with everyday life…well the everyday life of a princess of legend! The main character, Tynae is a stunning princess who has come into her own and begins to search for true love. Her beauty attracts many beaus, but it becomes quickly apparent to her where her heart belongs. But it is not all romance and magic, by the end of the first several chapters your heart will be racing from the trouble Tynae meets. Swords and steel clash and you find yourself facing the mystery of the unknown.
The storyline is filled with detailed lore of an immense world, enough for any die hard fantasy fan to delve into. There are a variety of characters, each with their own deep personality; I think everyone will find someone to relate to in this story.
There is so much to Angels & Warriors…friendship, romance, arena and sports games, history and lore and my favorite, magical creatures and races. I can easily see how Angels & Warriors could become the next iconic series of our time.

Angels and Warriors:The Awakening is the first book in a series for author Dawn Tevy. Lady Tena' has grown up in Pathtow as the only child of King Jonrae and is soon to be the Queen of Montronvarr. On the eve of a ball in the palace, Lady Tena' receives some disturbing news and must flee for her life. What ensues is the mystery behind who Lady Tena' is and what her future has in store. There is something about a book that has such vivid descriptions that just captures my imagination. Who doesn't love descriptions like this one? "The sapphire water from the waterfall they now stood next to flowed through the thriving Jade valley". The author has created a wonderfully fascinating world full of magic, mystery, romance, a strong female character, and swords and combat. Her story reads like a comfy fairytale that will instantly draw you in and a plot that that will keep you coming back for more. I especially loved the quotes that punctuate the beginning of each chapter that give a glimpse into the action to come. Defiantly a 5 out of 5 stars for me. Thanks to the author for the advanced ebook, can't wait for the hard copy to come out in print.

Absolutely amazing. The description that Dawn gives throughout the book puts you right there. I could imagine everything has it was happening. I love how Tynae and Beo are so drawn to each other, and how everyone just loves Tyane.
She's awesome at sword fighting, and she lands a big man on his arse. That's hilarious! She's a proper lady when need be, but she's also just one of the guys.
You must read to find out what happens.

I was enthralled by this book! The author's descriptive style of writing puts you in the midst of the action, magic, love and treachery the heroine encounters. If you enjoy reading about love, fantasy, magical places and mystery this is the book for you. I highly recommend it and can not wait for there surely has to be a sequel to this book.

This was a fantastic read! Such a departure from the norm. Dawn has created such a vibrant fantasy world, with MORE fantasy worlds within! The story surrounds a strong and relatable female heroine. She is no shrinking violet. She can best any man with a sword, she is witty, can drink, and is in complete charge of her sexuality, and most importantly her destiny. The book is complete with magic, vorbix (a keep you on your toes game!), beautiful detailed scenery, fantastical creatures, love, and an unfolding destiny for this woman to battle evil. I am beyond happy that I stumbled across this treasure!

Lady Tynae, lone daughter of King Yurgon, lives in Pathtow. She is soon to be the Queen of Montronvarr. One night changes her life forever. (But I won't say more. Don't want to spoil anything. This book is definitely worth a read.)
One thing I really love about this book is the strong female protagonist. Lady Tynae has a great personality, which readers will fall in love with. For me, that is especially important. The book also has some fantastic descriptions. You can practically drink up the descriptions. This book is a five out of five star read.
