Ouroboros Thoughts

Rate this book
Ouroboros Thoughts EXTENDED EDITION is a four-part poetry collection that came about out of both a love for writing, and as a way to express emotions.

PART "If I open myself up to write, and embrace my melancholy, I may excise it to some degree - For all to See."

PART "Less purposefully, and without intention to let my heart see the light of day, this mania driven rambling now exposed - to then cut out the rot growing in that dark void."

PART "And so, cast out by so much ire - I simmer down. Only to find the sun setting again. What madness is this, that it should fail to relent after such measures?"

PART " The sun has set, and now the moon may rise, soothing my burning soul until my fever calms. Now, to stand at the window and gaze upward through city lights to where my heart lives. Might I rest with ease at last? "

It takes courage to share your work to the world. But to bare ones soul and be vulnerable like C.L Adams does,  she should be proud of that achievement. A personal poem is a window into the soul. C.L Adams lets us into her world. I can see this book helping others who may suffer from anxiety and depression. I will be looking out for her future books.

Raw and emotional, this poetry collection hides no pain or feeling and every word resonates in your soul. The accompanying imagery is also stunning and I can imagine every piece hanging in a contemporary art gallery.

Those who suffer from depression or anxiety in particular will associate and feel validated by each piece, and the paperback version has an entire extra section of poems to it. Simply stunning, and beautifully written.

⭐ "Ouroboros Thoughts" by C. L. Adams is an absolute gem of a book that touched my soul in profound ways, earning a solid 5-star rating from me.

⭐ The rawness of the poetry in this collection is nothing short of breathtaking. It's rare to come across a work that strikes such a deeply personal chord, but this book managed to do just that. As someone who has faced their own mental health struggles, I found myself nodding along, feeling a deep connection to the words on these pages.

⭐ It's evident that the author poured her heart and soul into these poems. You can see her strength and resilience shining through each line, as if she gained power by sharing her innermost thoughts and experiences. It's truly inspiring.

⭐ The topics explored in "Ouroboros Thoughts" are undeniably difficult and often painful to confront, especially if you're going through similar challenges. However, what sets C. L. Adams apart is her ability to convey these complex emotions in a profoundly beautiful way. She weaves her words together with grace and sensitivity, turning pain into something artful and poignant.

⭐ C. L. Adams has a remarkable way with words, and her writing is nothing short of mesmerizing. Her talent shines brightly in this collection, leaving me eager to see more of her work in the future.
