Like most everyone, I was born to a woman, and I was quite young when doing so. I grew up in Maine after having made an inauspicious entrance there. I moved away for college and military service. Then I moved back. When I returned, I brought with me a wife and many years of subject matter which I keep trying to untangle and write about in a coherent manner.
