A much older Bratva gangster broke my heart. Years later I’m forced to marry him.I had escaped the mafia life and lived a normal life like a normal girl.Until my dear mobster dad kidnaps me to marry me off to the Bratva. And now I’m supposed to give my innocence and a baby to the guy who once dumped me.They put me in a wedding dress and walked me down the aisle. My ruthless husband doesn’t seem to care whether I want to be his mafia bride. He wants to possess and protect me, but I’m not a damsel. He can lock me up in his mansion, but he can’t make me love him.I want my sweet revenge for being sold, but slowly, my determination is wavering…Because late at night in his bed, he makes me do things I’ve never done. His cold fingers set my skin on fire. His brutal words, softly spoken, make my head spin. But when all hell breaks loose, will he cut his losses?Or will he be the mafia daddy that he can be?The Russian Bratva of Miami has three solve problems with violence, paint the streets with blood, and break hearts at will. They’re not nice, they’re not gentle, and they don’t compromise. But behind closed doors, they’ll show you what ruthless love really means.
hate human ass covers, also the first one was much better. idk i just felt like we were moving so fast and she gave in so easily also he seemed so weak the whole book??? idk whatever no me gusta
This was such a good book to dive into! I had the privilege to read it early and I’m just in awe! I haven’t read the others and was relieved when I heard this was a stand-alone and I could read it without any issues.
This book follows Yuri who I believe is the youngest of the Morozovs brothers. He’s a all business hot shot lawyer who keeps his nose clean when it comes to his brothers work—just to turn around and save them if it ever comes to it. He doesn’t exactly love the work his brothers do but he was born in to it and puts up with it to save and protect his brothers.
Kira just wants out. To be away from her fathers abuse and get out from under him. She doesn’t want any part of the Russian mob. She escapes to Miami, Florida where she meets possibly the love of her life, but it’s ended short when she gets word that her father is searching for her.
That was two years ago, she’s stayed down low—hidden. Sacrificing the finally amazing life she had a chance at. But alas her father finds her and she is to be forced to marry the youngest hot shot lawyer Morozov brother.
This book was well written, face paced, and full of spice and love. I love Yuri and Kira’s relationship and how it came full circle no matter the obstacles and tribulations that came in their way. I will definitely be reading the first 3 books in the series now!
Forced arranged unwanted marriage - check Minimal communication/trust between main characters - check Prior relationship between MC's - check MMC - Always on call even though he is supposed to be the "legal side" of the Bratva - check Abusive, threatening father - check Love/hate relationship between characters with lots of sex - check Friends and unwanted advice forced upon MFC by Morozov family - aka babysitter - check Mansion, designer clothes, shoes, jewelry etc., - check MFC stripped of everything that means something to her -(half of book) - check MMC - "I just want to keep you safe" mantra - check Shooting, abduction/kidnapping by daddy dearest of his daughter- check MMC - shot and left for dead, survives - check Daddy dearest meets untimely death - check End of story Pregnancy - check
I hoped that this author would infuse some originality into the "forced/arranged marriage trope" Morozov series, but only found "moments" in the entire story that weren't read and repeat . I've honestly given this author several times to redeem this series, but have found fault with the characters, editing, and plot. Ivan is still the awful older brother that he has been in prior novels from this series and Yuri's brothers' leave allot to be desired as characters.
The remainder of the story fit the same plot that continues to be used by many authors in this genre repetitively. The author could have expanded on the back story of Kira and Yuri's relationship prior to the forced marriage. Both characters had their moments in this story when you saw snippets of their personalities, but lacked enough engaging banter to hold my interest. Neither character stood out or added something unique to the story. An author needs to provide some "got ya's" in a book to differentiate from previous books in this genre if they want to make it their own.
I started to skim the book even though it was a short read. The love story was just so-so aside from the sex. The characters connected in bed but spent much of the other time going back and forth resulting in a complete lack of communication between them. The plot and storyline in this book is repetitive in nature because of how the story is presented; how it proceeds and how it ends.
I'll keep looking for the author who writes a story in this genre that is "out of the box" and is original. I know there has to be plenty of storylines that can provide the reader with a unique spin to the story and to this genre. I am taking a break from this author for the foreseeable future.
Some tropes in this book were marriage of convenience, forced proximity, second chance romance, and surprise pregnancy. I’m not usually a big second chance romance fan but this book has definitely made me a bit more interested in exploring that trope. I’m personally not the biggest lover of surprise pregnancies - even if it’s in the epilogue. But, I know some love it so that’s totally a personal preference! It was a cute story and I loved the MMC but in some spots it felt fanfic-y, repetitive, and predictable. The ending felt a bit rushed compared to the first half of the book.
I loved that this book followed along with the Russian mafia. It was honestly a breath of fresh air because I feel as though most mafia books are centered around the Italian mob so that set it aside from others a bit.
Yuri was one of my favorite characters in this book. I felt like he was pretty complex compared to the others and I looked forward to reading his POV chapters. Who doesn’t love a man that can be a polished professional but also get bloody if needed?!
Lexi did a great job with their descriptive setting work. I’m from Florida so I love that this book setting was *mostly* in FL! To put a cherry on top, the author really captured the correct Spanish inspired architecture that is all over the state. That certain type of design style, in my opinion, can be tough to accurately visualize with words and they nailed it! I totally wish I could live in Yuri’s home and garden - I mean, how stunning?!
I feel as though it’s definitely a good book to read in between heavier fantasy books if you’re needing a quick, dark romance palette cleanser.
This is book four in the Morozov Bratva series. This time around Ivan, the eldest brother, needs Yuri’s help for an arranged marriage to an Orlov. Yuri is the lawyer in the family and for the most part stays on the clean part of the business. The story was good but the romance story, I didn’t really feel any deep feelings for this couple. Kira was after revenge on her father. This was what she wanted the most. The book alluded to Yuri and Kira meeting previously. This would have helped to had something of their deep like from the past to make their feelings believable. Disappointed
Her father and cousin were the worst people I've read about in this series, so glad they got what they deserved. It made me mad that Yuri wasn't trusting her but he expected her to trust him without question, always having someone babysitting her. One thing really upset me Yuri knew her father was abusing her and Ivan wouldn't let him defend her to her father or simply punch her father in the face just once. I'm very happy she got her own little revenge against her father and cousin even though it was short lived. Sweet happy ending.

This is the final book in the series and it is very good. The h and H had dated several years earlier and he dumped her because he couldn’t give her the life she deserved. Both came from crime families. The h had been hiding from her father who found her and sold her to the H. She wanted revenge against her father and he wanted to protect her from that life. They overcame many obstacles before they found their HEA.
They knew each other before. She ran away from Moscow to get away from the life. Her father found her and bound her in a contract of marriage to the Morozov Bratva.
Lies, misunderstandings, and everything there is in this Bratva romance.
I loved the characters, plot and storyline. I loved the hot sizzling chemistry between Yuri and Kira.
A good final book in the Morozov series Yuri the final brother and the most legal one finally finds the woman of his dreams even though not in the best of circumstances. Kira Orlov daughter of an evil Russian Bratva leader ran away from her father to America he eventually finds her and a whole lot of trouble begins. A good read.
Yurok and Kira had a relationship years ago are reunited to have a marriage to each other. It was a lot of give and take and a lot of misunderstandings but was a very enjoyable read.
Dans la lignée des autres tomes. Yuri est un bon personnage, il est juste et prêt à tout pour les siens. Kira est sympa mais elle n’a aucune confiance en les autres du coup elle fait n’importe quoi. Mais le couple est mims.
Loving this series so much I can’t wait for the next one, it is promising to keep the reader enthralled with great storytelling and the characters are so well suited to each book that you just can’t help by read each book from start to finish.
I really like this storyline! Its got lots of spice and a fantastic twist!! I love Mafia stories, they are always Lit!! Especially when writen like this one!
