With her coronation just a month away, Hadley must choose her four consorts.

Still reeling from the betrayal of Hunter, Caiden, Marcos, and Kai, Hadley is heartbroken. But she doesn’t have the time to dwell on her pain when she still has to marry in just two months. Afraid to trust anyone, can she find four consorts amongst the sudden influx of suitors she has? Or will she let the betrayal and pain keep her from taking the throne that is rightfully hers?

Meanwhile, Kai is on the warpath. He knows that she will never forgive them, but he will make sure that she’s safe—even if it means putting himself in danger. Hunter, Caiden, and Marcos are trying to figure out how they can correct their mistakes while making sure that Kai doesn’t get himself killed. All four men seek forgiveness that they know is unlikely to be found. And then there’s the fact that someone seems to be trying to kill Hadley—a fact that they don’t mention to the queen-to-be.

Can Hadley forgive the first men that she’s ever cared for? Can they keep her safe or is this Fae Queen’s rule doomed to end before it ever begins?

Sinful Secrets is the second of three books in a why choose series. This means that the main character will not have to choose between her love interests. Includes M/M. This book is intended for readers 18+ due to language and content.

"Sinful Secrets" is the second book in "The Secrets of Sorlphi" series and picks up right after the cliffy that ended book one. This second book revolves around regret, feelings of betrayal and trying to find a way to get past all that through repentance and forgiveness. I enjoyed watching Kai step up and finding the inner strength he needs to become the man to stand beside his queen. I think the author did some real good character building for all main male characters: they grow and try to become better men but without ever losing who they are deep down. They still have their flaws, none of them are perfect, but that's precisely how relationship development has to work in my opinion: fitting the good and the bad together to become something great.

I definitely enjoyed this second book, and I'm looking forward to read book 3 in this trilogy and find out who's conspiring against Hadley and her consorts.

Sinful Secrets is book 2 in the Secrets of Sorlphi series by Miranda May. It was so good and I could not put it down.

💜 strong, powerful FMC
💜 four heirs, multiple possible suitors
💜 elemental and mage magic
💜 new friendships
💜 groveling
💜 🌶🌶🌶 spice
💜 mystery

This book picked right up from where Silent Secrets left off with it’s cliffhanger. Hadley has to figure out what she is going to do once she found out about the different courts diplomats plotting against her and the four heirs involvement. All she can do is try to make the best decisions she can and move forward with a broken heart and broken trust. Can she ever forgive them or trust them? Will they grovel and try to win her over again? Or will the heirs give up and move on?

I am so glad that I read this second book. It was great and the storyline moved forward at a good pace. We have a “new” villain that starts showing up in this book and I have my guesses on who I think it may be. I can’t wait to pick up the next installment when it comes out to see if I’m right. But, be warned, this book ends on a major cliffhanger. It just makes me even more excited to see what happens next.

After a disastrous birthday celebration, Hadley tries to put heart back together after being betrayed but the 4 heirs. She vows never to forgive Hunter, Marcos Caiden and Kai. As she meets with other suitors from the 4 courts she still has to work with the heirs to hone her powers.
Dangers still lurks and the threats become more real. As the men still work to protect Hadley the walls of her heart begin to break down.
As Hadley and her men get ready for her Coronation, danger and the worst betrayal waits right around the corner.

Gosh after the last cliffhanger I didn't think this one would be bad but I was wrong. Hadley is working through her emotions to find if she can trust Caiden, Kai, Hunter, and Marco after their betrayal. But it seems her stalker is escalating and everyone is unsure what to do and how to fix it. I really liked this book and damn was it spicy! I can't wait to read the next book!

This is the second book in the series and picks up right after the cliffhanger that ended book one. I love Hadley, Kai, Marcos, Caiden, and Hunter. I can't wait to read the next book!! This is most definitely a must read.

I liked this one but not as much as the first book in the series. I really thought Hadley was stupid sometimes in this book. I love all of her guys, but Hunter got on my nerves once in a while. I'm getting ready to read the final book next to see how everything ends. Especially because of how this one ended.
4.25 is more of what my rating would be.

Enjoyed this book more than the first one. Way hotter, more character development and less errors. Cliffhanger at the end to encourage me to read the next book quickly although think it’s clear who the baddie is!

Sinful Secrets picks up right where Silent Secrets left off. I was happy about that because that cliffhanger was horrible and the wait was torturous. Hadley opened herself up and let 4 guys in and they ended up betraying her. Hadley was now even more alone than before. Our future Fae Queen has to find 4 new consorts after the betrayal. Unfortunately, she has only a month to do all of this. That is too much pressure for anyone but even worse for someone who is healing from heartbreak. She has to go through applications for new consorts and practice her magic during this time. I have read stories that made me cry but I couldn’t help but feel personally affected by this one. You have to continue to live your life and do your duties while trying to fix what is broken. It is even worse when you have felt alone your whole life and even more now.
I love Morgan (Caiden’s sister), she is such a character. She is extra in her way but is 100% ready to stand by Hadley’s side. She is fully behind her brother and the boys being in the wrong. She also finds out what happened and why it happened.
I love how Miranda went about with the guy’s betrayal and giving our girl an amazing gift. She gave her some friends, even though there is someone around her that I do not trust and hope that Hadley sees it soon.. There is so much going on in the background and I am here for it. The guys finally come clean and confess why they did what they did. The fix between the guys and Hadley is not quick at all. I am thankful for that. I am a strong willed woman and I hate when the FMC forgives so quickly and moves on like nothing happened. No! They screwed you over and you make them work for you. Miranda gave us that beautiful balance of petty, redemption and maturity. Truth be told there has not been a book that Miranda has written that hasn’t been fabulous. I loved this book and how everything played out between the guys and Hadley by the end of the book. I do have to say one thing though.. Miranda loves cliffhangers and she is so good at writing them. That being said, why did you have to leave us with that kind of a cliffhanger?! But so good.. love this book series and cannot rave enough about it. Now I just need the next book.

I was so amped when this book hit my email. After the horrible cliffhanger of book 1, which was super betrayal by the 4 guys that she started letting in. Hadley, the next Fae Queen felt even more alone than ever before.

Hadley's first step after the betrayal is to find 4 new consorts, and she has ONE month to do so. Which is a lot of pressure, plus she is dealing with heartbreak, going through thousands of applicants, and practicing her magic skills. That is A LOT for the girl, it would be for anyone, but especially feeling so alone her entire life. Plus, there was not much support from her small group of people that were in her corner.

One new addition, Morgan, Caiden's sister is a freaking HOOT. And I love that she's just extra enough, and is ready to stand by Hadley's side. She's also wholly behind her brother and his friends being wrong. HA, their interactions were great. Plus, she finds out what the parents were doing and exactly why Hadley and the guys had a falling out.

There is so much going on behind the scenes, Kai goes missing for a bit, Hunter is his broody self, Caiden is trying to keep a lid on his temper, and Marcos is smirking his way through life. It takes a while, but the guys finally all come clean, and reveal why they did what they did. It's not an automatic fix at ALL (which I'm happy about), but there's so much going on that I don't want to spoil anything. We get an interesting confession from Hadley as well, which was extremely mature. Miranda did FABULOUS with the balance of redemption, petty, and maturity.

I honestly loved this book, I was so happy with everything between Hadley, Kai, Marcos, Caiden, and Hunter by the end... well not the end, right before the end.

The moments that were my favorite and made me smile:
- when Hunter was taught what an Alph@hole is LOL.
- Daddy? <~ when you read it you'll see why this was hilarious

The ending... I have an idea of who the friend is but not the actual instigator.

Sinful Secrets

Finally!!! Book 2 to that awesome debut release for this author, Silent Secrets. Things jump right off from the ending of book 1. I still love Hadley and the guys. I had high hopes for them in this one and knew it would be tough due to the circumstances. Hadley stayed strong the best way she knew how. Being hard-headed was definitely it, lol, but she needed to be. I was also excited to see her picking up on little things about Adaline, who gave me fake af friend vibes all of last book, and still in this book. Grace, I feel, is still #teamHadley and the heirs. Everything Grace does seems genuine, unlike her daughter. I was worried for Kia, but he definitely surprised me. I think Caiden realized a lot when it came to Kia and Hadley. Hunter was still his usual self, but he shocked me the most in the end. Kudos to him for being real to himself and others at that moment. Marcos, with his brother cracked me up. Then there was the stalker... I'd like to say I was shocked by that cliffhanger, I mean I was, but who it was didn't, and I need to know all about what they had to say. Can't question any of it here for spoiler reasons, but I hope they are completely wacko and are mostly wrong about it, and were just used as a pawn and karma will right things with said persons grand delusions. One can hope right?!?! Can't wait for book 3!!!!

I was so looking forward to reading this book that when it hit my kindle on vacation I had to read it right away.
Miranda did a great job with this one. I’m so proud of her for how she dealt with the guys’ betrayal.
It was great to see Hadley getting some friends. She was in desperate need of them.
I just wish she would trust her instincts more, because Adelaide is sure shade as hell. I really think she is the one behind the threats. It looks like she wants the guys for herself.
Even though I’m happy about a certain character’s death, I think he deserved so much more. But on the other hand I get why it was so quick. I wouldn’t want it to have a huge impact on the character that killed them.
We also get to see Hadley slowly becoming a great queen and I can’t wait to see more of her. I’m really curious what will happen now, because I thought that she and her mates will get a break now after what they’ve been through. But the cliffhanger showed me I was wrong.
I wish I could live in Miranda’s head so I would know how it will end, because I can’t wait to read Hadley’s happy end
Also I think I should mention that I’m grateful to Miranda for mentioning TW quite in detail. I’m very sensitive about TW not being mentioned and even though I don’t feel like for Sinful Secrets the TW was needed, it’s better to be safe than sorry.

I absolutely hated that book one ended on a cliff hanger and loved that this one picked up literally where it stopped. I love how each of these man taught Hadley something while trying to earn back her forgiveness. Seeing the emotions from them all. Hadley needing to learn to trust and forgive. Hunter coming to terms with all his feelings and trying to change for the better. Kai seeing that he can make it alone but it hurts and learning forgiveness as well. Caiden and Marcos learning that listening to family because your scared isnt always the safest. Hadley was dead set of finding new consorts but thanks to Grace telling her she needs the "boys" for magic practice was an ingenious way to have her confront those feelings head on. The new threat was perfect to bring them all back together. I love the range of emotions, the sweet and simple spice that were brought out and I have my suspicions of who the "attacker" if and that is the only reason I am okay with a second cliffhanger in the series. Miranda you sure know how to keep us on the edge of the seat in this series.

I have been a fan of Miranda's writing for a while, and this new series has quickly become another favorite!

In this second book, Hadley struggles to forgive her men for their betrayal and the men’s relationships suffer as everyone is miserable.

Now she needs to prepare for her coronation and decide on the consorts that will rule by her side for life, oh and did I forget to mention the plot to kill her before she ever takes the crown? Just another day in Sorlphi!

Relationships are tested and lives hang in the balance, and then there is the cliffhanger!!!! Who survived, who caused all the drama, and most importantly who can Hadley trust after all this???

With drama, espionage, sexual tension and frustration this book delivers on all of Miranda's talents!

Looking forward to the final installment!

What a ride this book was!!! I can't believe the action, the suspense, and the tension of a romantic kind that went on. Deception isn't always forgivenable, or is it?

Hadley and the boys were right on their way to a fast HEA and then BOOM! Truths come out, a certain gal won't listen, and now it's eggshells, teaching/learning magic with so much UGH, and now off to find more consorts.... I don't want her to do that.... for the record....

Shifty people in this one, one that REALLY got on my radar as a 'hmm, you not who you seem....' Will I be right?? I don't know because this one ends in QUITE the cliffhanger and definitely went out with a BOOM.... UGH!!!

Keep reading too, that Epilogue!!! Like WHAT?!!?!?!?

Starting my 2023 off strong with a 5* review. Loved book 1 of this series so I had high hopes for this book and it did not disappoint!
We jump straight into the aftermath of the revelations at the ball in book 1 to a very hurt Hadley feeling like four of the most important people in the world can't be trusted at a time when she needs them the most.
There are some great plotlines going on throughout this book as well as some great character development both independently and as couples.
The spice is slow to start due to the nature of the story but once it starts it's worth waiting for (MM, MMF, MFM) and feels fitting to the storyline. (Do check trigger warnings before reading)
Book 2 does end on a cliffhanger (although I have a theory) so I'm eagerly awaiting book 3. Will I be right?

Book 2 picks right up where book 1 left off. Hadleys birthday was ruined when she saw a video of the heirs and two of their fathers talking about their plan of getting hadleys power by making them her consorts. She's hurt and refuses to talk to them when they try to explain themselves. So not only does she have to choose new consorts, she only has one month in which to do so which is no easy feat. She also has to learn to wield her magic, plus someone is still trying to unalive her for not leaving sorlphi. Will Hadley forgive the heirs for deceiving her? Will they finally figure out who is behind the nasty notes and attacks? The cliffhanger on this one is a doozy but it was such an epic ride along the way.

You know that a book is good, when you still finish it in a day amongst the madness that is Christmas! Sinful Secrets is book two and just as, if not more brilliant, than book one. The four heirs of the fae courts have a lot of grovelling to do before Hadley will give them the time of day after their betrayal. Hadley is going through so much and it's so unfair she has it all to deal with but those four and her together are an unbeatable force right? Well I'm looking forward to the finale, to finding out exactly who the bad guys are and hoping that our faves get their happy ending! Loved it and love this author.

Miranda May does it again with another amazing addition to this series. I just can’t get enough of these great characters! This picked up exactly where it left off. It was awesome to see all the men trying to win her back throughout this book. Hadley was so strong and confident in not wanting to let them back into her heart. That cliffhanger! I have so many guesses and thoughts about it. If you haven’t started this series, don’t wait any longer. It is packed full of fae, steam, and an excellent plot!

The betrayal that Hadley faces as she comes to terms with being the new Fae Queen, and the men she has fallen for keeps Hadley on her toes. There are other betrayals too, but who could it be? As things go wrong, Hadley realises that she can't be without her 4 men, but more and more seems to go wrong. The ultimate betrayal coming with a cliff-hanger ending! I need the next book asap! I loved how the different relationships developed between Hadley and her four men, they are all such different characters. Another great read by this author.

Book 2 started right from where book 1 left off. Hadley is heartbroken from being blindsided from her suitors: Hunter, Caiden, Marcos and Kai. This puts a rift between Kai and the rest of the guys and a huge Rift between the men and Hadley. Book 2 is Hadley trying to come into her own and figure out how to be a queen. I loved the addition of the new side characters to help Hadley through this journey. Lots of twists and turns In this book. Still don’t find out who is after Hadley. Absolutely can’t wait for the next book to come out!!

After the cliffhanger from the first book I wasn’t sure what was going to happen but the boys pulled it off and groveled like they needed to and won their way back into Hadleys Heart!! Loved the addition of the new characters and can’t wait to find out who is behind all of the bad stuff going on. Another beautifully written book in this series!!

Sinful Secrets picks up where book 1 left us from the birthday from hell. As Hadley tries to put her heart back together, she has to deal with more secrets and a stalker after her. The guys are try to make things right with her while she is meeting other suitors from the 4 court. But to see Kai is the first to step up and win her back is fantastic. It’s an incredible journey that has so many twists and turns. And just when you see their HEA, you are hit with an remarkable cliffhanger.

This book picks up where book 1 left off. Hadley was betrayed by the guys, so now she is looking for new suitors. There are a lot of twists and turns, some great and hilarious new characters, and edge of your seat mystery! I didn’t know if the guys would be able to redeem themselves and work their way back into Hadley’s heart, but they somehow manage it. She makes them work for it, as they absolutely should! There is another mega cliffhanger, but it’s soooo good!

What an incredible continuation of the Secrets of Sorlphi series. This picks up right where book one Silent Secrets, left off with that cliffhanger. There continues to be mystery, fae political intrigue, heat, magic and very strong characters. Hadley continues to have her strength and determination shine through. I liked the character building/ development where the characters are flawed. This book is a wild ride of a read.

Sinful Secrets picks up right after book 1. I love that Hadley doesn’t just forgive the guys and they need to work to redeem themselves. It was interesting seeing the different courts, especially through Hadley’s eyes, and I enjoyed some of the new characters - especially Caiden’s sister. Of course, this ends on another cliffy, so hopefully we get the next books soon!
