A cheating husband and a set of divorce papers turn Sherry Williams's organized lifestyle into a roiling mass of emotional turmoil. Needing to get away, she takes a training assignment from her boss and boards the next flight to Paris with the intention of drowning her problems in her work.

Instead, she meets a handsome Italian man at a nightclub who makes her feel sexy and desirable— two traits she thought she'’d lost after her marriage. Knowing that it would be unwise to indulge in a relationship when she had not even signed the divorce papers, she turns down his offer, only to discover during her first day on the job that he is her new boss. Try as she might, she can’t seem to avoid the sparks that fly between them— especially since he does everything in his power to make his gorgeous body and talented mouth available to her. And she really does need to stop, because not only is she still married, but she'’s made a promise to Nick that upon her return to Toronto, they will try to make another go of their marriage.

Roberto is well aware that he has no business indulging Sherry in an affair, but he can'’t help himself— he’'s a connoisseur of women, and he needs someone to pass the time with while he waits for his ex-girlfriend to come crawling back. But as he spends time with Sherry and comes to know her, he starts to wonder if he even wants to go back to Simone, and instead begins exploring the possibilities of furthering their relationship. Sherry’'s obvious reluctance and resistance is only a challenge to him, and one he is determined to win.

Which man will Sherry choose? The one she promised to love and cherish for the rest of her life? Or the one who makes her feel like gold?

And will Roberto still want her after he finds out she’s been lying to him?

Fling in Paris had potential. It's a quick read with likable characters and an interesting premise. A spurned wife accepts a job in Paris to try to get over her cheating husband. She then meets a new man only to find that her husband wants her back.

Unfortunately, the beauty of the story is overshadowed by an abundance of typos, contradictory details, and a couple of story arcs which just don't ring true. Better editing could have made this story a keeper. Instead, it's just "ok."

Normally I would not find this type of book very enjoyable but I still wanted to give it a try. I did end up liking the book but it just did not grab my attention and I was not so crazy about the main female character meeting someone new even though her husband was a jerk. It was a cute quick read that I don't regret reading.

This book was really good. I enjoyed it from the very fist page to the last. It kept me wanting more, the characters are complex and entertaining. I would definitely recommend it and look forward to more books from this author.

I really liked this book. The characters were well developed even though there's only 268 pages I was pleased with the progress of this book (it wasn't too fast or slow) it had enough details, so I was satisfy at the end.
