One Missing Day

कभी-कभी इंसान के साथ यह हादसा भी हो जाता है कि किसी झटके या चोट से उसकी मेमोरी का एक छोटा सा हिस्सा ही ग़ायब हो जाये और मुश्किल यह हो कि उसी हिस्से में कुछ बहुत महत्वपूर्ण राज़ दफन हो गये हों। ऐसा ही एक हादसा समीर के साथ होता है जब वह पूरा एक दिन ही भूल जाता है और उस दिन की उसकी गतिविधियां भी कम हंगामाखेज नहीं थीं।

उसकी जान के पीछे ऐसे लोग पड़ गये थे जो उसकी औकात से ही बाहर के लोग थे और उसके लिये वह सारे अजनबी लोग थे... उनका जो सबसे अहम सवाल था, वह भी उसके लिये एक अबूझ पहेली था जिसका कोई जवाब उसके पास नहीं था और उसकी अज्ञानता उसके बड़े अहित का कारण बन रही थी।

उसके पास सिवा इसके कोई चारा नहीं था कि वह किसी तरह हर जानने वाले से उस भूले हुए दिन की बिखरी-बिखरी बातें इकट्ठा कर के उनकी एक सिक्वेंस बनाये और उस अहम पल को खोजने की कोशिश करे जिसमें सबसे महत्वपूर्ण सवाल का जवाब छुपा था... लेकिन क्या यह आसान था?

उसकी दिमाग़ी हालत से वह लोग तो अनजान थे, जिन्हें उससे अपने किसी सामान की रिकवरी करनी थी और समीर की अपनी कोशिशों में वह हर जगह अड़ंगा लगाने की कोशिश कर रहे थे, जिससे उसका काम मुश्किल से मुश्किल होता जा रहा था। उसे उन लोगों से अपनी जान भी बचानी थी और उस खोये हुए दिन से वह राज़ भी खोज निकालना था जो उसकी जान का बवाल बना हुआ था।

There are some skills in people which are said to be God gifted. If God exists and gifts, are not known but I have seen many such skills in people. I, myself am a living example of this.

I do not know how and when I got so much creativity that I started writing stories but I remember that when I was in class six, I made a rough copy by adding pages and wrote a story on it for the first time. Obviously, I did not know the right way to write at that time, and so there were a lot of errors in the story but wasn’t that enough that I wrote at such a young age.

Then at that phase when the other children used to play and flirt, all my time was spent reading or writing. The libraries were in full trend those days and in the library of our area, there was no book, comic or magazine that I did not read. Writing also continued in the same way. I wrote many novels, short stories, film scripts and songs etc. After that, I got so stuck in the struggles of life that I could not continue it further.

But now I have overcome those problems and am ready to make a career in the world of writing. I might not be very good at other things but writing is my life. I am probably born to write.

लखनऊ के आर्डिनरी पर्सन की लाईफ का बहुत ही बेहतरीन चित्रण है, साथ में मर्डर मिस्ट्री का तड़का और अंदाजे बयां तो खूब रहा। पढ़ते पढ़ते पता ही नहीं चला कि कब खत्म हो गई।

इस टाईप के केस वाकई होते हैं क्या कि किसी की याद्दाश्त का कोई एक हिस्सा निकल जाये। ऐसे में तो वाक़ई बड़ी प्राब्लम खड़ी हो जायेगी कि सबकुछ याद है लेकिन बस एक दिन की डिटेल नहीं याद।

शुरु से अंत तक बांधे रखने वाला कथानक, मर्डर मिस्ट्री तो है ही लेकिन बड़े ही रोचक अंदाज में लिखी हुई। किसी भी जगह बोरियत नहीं होती।
