SALVAGED SOULS : Soul Tied To A BBW

Rate this book
This novel reflects on a man’s life who appears to the world as a strange and incandescent beast. A man with a dreary soul that's been salvaged and could only be repaired with love. He’s not your average Prince Charming, because his obsession with sin is the cause of unholy destruction.

After years of living his life in a dark but treacherous place, Amoral finds his way back into society where he’s having a hard time adjusting. His malevolent ways begin to call on him like a serpent. And after trying his best to live like a normal human being, Amoral returns to taking the souls of innocent people to feed his beastly greed.

When he awkwardly stumbles upon a BBW Beauty by the name of Storm, his heart is revived like a reincarnated mortal.
However, the flicker of his alluring candles weren’t quite the romance she imagined. Holding her captive and against her will, she immediately sees him as a viscous barbarian. But one look at him, and his enchanting gray eyes lured her in like a spell.

How could someone so precious commit such heinous acts? Storm asked herself, conflicted. His touch was gentle, and his love came off so pure until he heard the haunting voices of his mother.

With time and patience, Storm begins to break, but what happens when both of their hearts have been damaged so long, they’re soulless, hopeless, and stuck in their ways?

Sail on this hazardous ship and prepare to be lost at sea with two salvaged souls that requisite love.

Wow! This was a read for yo ass! 🤯 Poor Storm just couldn't catch a damn break! 💔 At every turn she was forced to take an L, and my heart broke for her! I wasn't sure how much more she could take before she completely lost herself! Then she happened upon Amoral, and it seemed her life had gone from bad to worse! Amoral! Raised by his evil mother, who bred him to kill for her! The question I had is why tho? We never got an understanding about what was up with his mother, and why she was so horrible to him. She would praise him when he killed, but the remainder of the time, she was neglectful and abusive to him!

Amoral stays locked away in a dark warehouse, as his grief is so intense from the loss of his mother; and not really having social skills. This is also where he takes souls. He had begrudgingly made a friend with Murdoc, who was his only connection to the outside world. When Storm wanders her way into Amoral's orbit, he immediately wants to kill her, but something about her gives him pause. As he spends more time with her, she gives Amoral a sense of peace and quiets the voices to kill from his mother. Amazingly Storm falls for him as well, although she is terrified of the dark side of him. She understands that he needs her, and she is probably the only person who can help him heal. Then the story goes a little rogue for me, with the uncle, cartel drama and such. There was so much more we needed to learn about these characters individually, as well as couple. The pace picked up really quickly, and the end of the read felt rushed for me.

Whew

I put to put this down a few times because its an emotional read. Amoral was a tortured soul thanks to his mother. Reading his thoughts you could feel his internal battle between not wanting to disappoint his mom and being the man Storm needed him to be. I loved his friendship with Murdoc, you could almost see his innocence come through when he was talking to Murdoc about Storm.

Soul Tied

When 2 people become 1. This was pretty good. I note the best at giving a little about a book, I can spoil it. 😉 So let me just say if you're into Beauty and the Beast give this a try.

Good Read

Amoral and Storm were definitely two lost souls with a lot of chaos surrounding their lives. I haven’t read many characters like Amoral, so his character was refreshing. The story is a well written page turner.

Very Very good read my heart really broke for Amoral. I am so glad he was able to take his burdens to the Lord and leave them there. Storm really got the bad hand dealt to her I please that she received her happy ever after she is one that truly deserves it. If you are looking for a BEAUTY AND THE BEAST THEME WITH AND URBAN TWIST THIS DEFINITELY IS THE BOOK. Job well done 👍🏾

not good

This book was not good. I read a lot of it, even though I really wanted to stop a long time ago. I could not stand the main female character, she cried so much you would think at some point she would have no more tears to cry. She was so dang weak and dumb. Why would you get in a car with someone you don’t know because after a couple mins of knowing them you thought they were sweet and cute. Like what? She irritated my whole soul throughout the book. You allowed yourself to stay in a mental institution for 2 years because your husband and sister were scumbags? Then when you finally get free and your at someone’s house sleeping in their guess room, you don’t go look for a job and try to get yourself together. You stay in the house all day catching up on shows and eating ice cream, like u got that luxury.
Then the main male character is a lunatic and no matter what anybody says he was not lovable. He just put here killing ppl. You stab someone in the middle of a restaurant because he called your lady beautiful? He didn’t touch her, he gave a compliment as you all waitor. Everyone made it seem like it was okay because of his childhood, but the man is 28 years old how long is that gone hold up. And the one person that made sense Kimberly or whatever her name was, was made to seem like she was wrong for how she felt about him.
I didn’t finish the story and so I don’t know if the characters had any growth, but this was not good. There were things that did not make sense and all the killing of innocent ppl and everyone being ok with it was too much. Storm was stupid and weak and I didn’t like her.

Maybe it’s me…

At the start, it was deep and crazy and deranged, but I held to it trying to understand.

Storm went through a lot, but Nurse Krystal saved her. After finding her sister with her abusive husband ending her life felt freeing. Surviving the attempt led her to being institutionalized.

When released she has nowhere to go and quickly gets caught in the web of a pimp. Running for freedom and solitude, she is captured by Amoral.

Amoral is the monster his mother created. He kills with no remorse and he does so to quiet the voice of his mother’s spirit. But he was bot prepared for Storm’s peace to surround him and pull him into love.

The story quickly turns a bit weird here. Around 80% I started skipping through pages just to get to the end when Storm is kidnapped to force Amoral’s hand in a crazy plot of marriage. Idk…It just didn’t flow right for me.

Salvaged Souls

This book really flowed for me. It got kinda hectic and fast paced at the end but overall I loved how things progressed. Amoral and Storm needed each other in so many ways it was crazy. The strength they both have is what made them for each other. Storm went though soo much in the small time she was out on her own and Amoral just lived a crazy life from birth. I was like are we really gonna get to the root of why Amoral or will we have a cliffhanger but I liked the ending. Both deserved that love they has even for the amount of time they were together at the warehouse. Everything came full circle for them the first time though and now it all made sense. Of course love this author's work for sure.

Good

There are quite a few things to say about this story and one is that it was a good solid read. The writer throws you right into the action but some where you are left wondering what happened and what lead up to all this happening. We get an condensed version and still we are left to who are these people. While the story holds a bit of mystery, its missing the part where we get to look inside and see what makes them tick. Also it would have been great to have seen the vallian coming and his plan.I loved the fact that Amoral has a friend in Murdoc. The story weaves a fine web we just want a little bit more info.Overall it was a good solid read,I just felt like something was missing g.

You Always Come Through!!

This book was different, but I was hooked from the very beginning. Storm went through hell. Literally, she couldn't catch a break, from being betrayed by family, almost sold, and then she thought she was free. Amoral was on straight demon time with no intentions of ever stopping his soul snatching spree. Mama had a hold on him, and the cartel tried to bully him. But in the midst of a storm them dark clouds eventually clear up. Those two found strength in each other. Barbie, you are a beast, hands down, I love reading your books! Keep doing your thing, keep shining.

Good Book

This was a DAMN GOOD BOOK, I listened to my book via Alexa. I started listening to this book around 11:30am. and kept listening to it until it was done 8 hours later. This is like my 5th Barbie Scott books, but if the rest flows like this, I will be reading. I loved the characters of course Storm and Amoral, as well as Kristy and Murdoc. When I tell you that Murdoc is a dude, I'd want by my side because he had Amoral's back no matter what. Murdoc and Kristy relationship be cause of his loyalty to Amoral. As well as the fact, that Kristy and Strom had a personal connection. THIS BOOK WAS JUST A DAMN GOOD BOOK!

Two Lost Souls, That's Destined To Be!!

Amoral was child like when Krystal and Jonathan found him. Murdoc was the closest thing he had to a real. Storm had been through so much. Coming home to find out your piece of ish husband is sleeping with hussy, tramp a** sister who lied on you so they could be together. Then get pimped out by somebody who thought was nice. Ain't nothing free. Get caught by a lunatic for being nosy. Who in turn was listening to his crazy a** mammy who telling him to kill. His uncle knew he has money, so him and his cartel friend who come up with idiotic plan. Amoral wasn't dumb by far. Him and Storm had a good thing going until his uncle Charles kidnapped Storm. The cartel forced Amoral to marry his daughter Nivea. Little Nivea thought she had one up on Storm because she married him to was pregnant by him. The joke was on her, because I guess she didn't know what kind of man Amoral was. He's a deranged killer who kill because of the pleasure or someone who owes money and who did something wrong to the person he loves. He just wants to be loved by his woman. Thank God for Inga who told him the truth. Charles, Don, Nivea, Eric and Gloria all got what they deserved. Which they all were lead by greed. Storm and Amoral got their family now.

Amoral had a rough difficult up bringing, it was by grace that he survived ridding himself physically from his lunatic mother. The things her family wanted from him because of his royalty was sad. Storm went through obstacles as well from her no good husband and snake of a sister but they got exactly what they deserved. Storm was exactly what Amoral needed to break that curse and torture his mother had put him through. So happy they found their way back to each other because their souls were indeed tied and because of it they were able to both heal.

Great book

This is the 1st book I've read by this author and this was a very good book!!!...I was hottttt, knowing that her sister waa that devious to have her committed then boost about it!!!...Her husband definitely met with karma and I was happy not know that!!!...The fact that Nivea was upset that Storm was in the picture is crazy to me, especially since a he knew that man didn't want any parts of her!!!...Hell, her daddy was a beast where she is concerned!!!...I'm glad they were a now to get back together and was happy that he was able to meet his baby boy!!!...

Barbie never ceases to amaze me!

This is one of my favorite authors and anyhing she writes is worth the read. The characters were different from any of her other characters but I was very intrigued. Storm and Amoral were made for each other! I highly recommend this read and any other in Barbie's catalog.
Can we get some more of Amoral and Storm please? I'm not ready to let them go!!

This Book Is A Masterpiece

There are so many emotions I am trying to process that makes it hard to voice what is truly felt in my heart. I didn’t know what I would feel from one page to the next but I am so happy to have taken this journey. Please read this book because this is premium writing. The imagination it took to create a work of are with this level of depth, has left me astounded.

Absolutely loved it

This book was dope Storm and Amoral were two souls that had been damaged by people who were supposed to love and support them. The way they met was so unconventional and the things that transpired between them became a great love story. Those two were exactly what the other needed for the light to shine in their lives. I would definitely recommend this read!!

It’s a Storm brewing

Whew baby, so I finished this book last night and let me tell you. Amoral won my heart and not because he’s sweet and loving but because he’s the opposite completely lol. His world got thrown upside down when a Storm came thru a caused a rift that tore his heart open. The heart wants what the heart wants but sometimes LOVE can and will break you. Sit back and take a read, I promise you won’t be disappointed

A very good read!

I was so hesitant about reading this because I thought is was paranormal. But I'm so glad that I did. Amoral didn't think he would ever love and then Storm comes along. In his mind he was gonna kill her but he couldn't. Now they have a beautiful family. I love how Murdoc stayed by his side and and never gave up. Barbie, I feel we need a Christmas book or something 😉 js .

For whatever strange reason, I love Amoral. I was initially annoyed with Storm for being so trusting/naive, but I get it. Storm been through some thangs, the only thing I wish is that we were told how it ended for Evan and Gloria. I also cannot believe Nivea and Don. Lmao are they that crazy?? This was a really good read though. I almost didn't want to read the second book, because on one hand I don't feel like I need to, but then also, I'm like why not? Lol

Enjoyed

Good storyline, they were two salvaged souls! Storm and Amoral had different backgrounds , but were meant to be together! Opposites do attract. Storm was the light to Amoral dark heart, he was able to live and live with her around! Murdock was a ride or die friend for sure, because Amoral was dark, but paid! I love the ending as well!

I really enjoyed this book from beginning to end. Mr Amoral was definitely a trouble souled. His mom was just straight evil.
My heart broke for all the things Storm went through. Amoral and Storm balanced each other out.
