obsolutly AMAZING addition to the Neuri series !!!

this to me is some of Poppets best work . It is a true love story with all the right twist & celestrial amazment that we rely on Poppet to deliver !!!

But i believe that she has taken us to a whole new level with this book !! I was taken on an emotion roller coaster ride that broke my heart & made me scream . I sobbed tears of joy & felt sooooo consumed by the story its self that the real world ceased to exist whilst i tumbled through Poppets world .

Ryan is the Neuri king & the heart of his people .He has set himself the task of healing Pheobe & saving her from herself . her heart is so broken that that it has dulled her light & is killing her . She is literally dying from a broken heart :( after the loss of the love of her life .

Ryan will & does do anything to bring her back her will to live . Being the man he is Ryan start to succeed & Pheobe is finding joy again but as soon as she see's there is life past her grief she is ripped away & thrown into a living hell !!!....omg ok this is the part where i started heavy breathing & FREAKING OUT !!!!

This is where Pheobe's test of will & strength begins !!! It where the roller coaster ride hits its peak & u start to drop loosing all control !!!

This book is just another example of Poppets brilliance & skill as a writer . There was never a slow moment . Never a dull second ....& never a lack of male hotness lol !!!.....ohhh come on u know thats important !!!:)

so once again to Poppet i say i luv u like a Slakax loves light or a Neuri loves Plyx !!!

Poppet has gone above and beyond in creating the book, Ryan. I am utterly riveting in excitement over this. Having every single emotion jerked and ripped to shreds, this roller coaster ride is worth every freaking minute. Who holds the Ryan Tree key? Figure out the pieces of the puzzle, and solve the riddles.

Phoebe steps up, into unknown ground, remembering lessons of her past, as she is being taught new ones by Neuri King, Ryan. Not only is he a too die for hottie, but he is forced to surpass the limits of fate as a Neuri King, trying to race against time to teach her all he can...before it is too late. Ryan must gain her trust in order to do this, but Phoebe, being the spit-fire she is, isn't always willing. Tragedy erupts into Phoebe's life, bringing in Vampire, Neuri's and Demons, all battling another, sealing fates among themselves and even leaves some of them hung in the waiting game. Forcing enemies to unite, betrayers to flee, and past love to charge in to rescue her, characters are left spinning out of control around her. As Ryan prepares her to take on the world, he has now hoping his lessons have been enough. As Phoebe is snatched out of his clutches by a demon, left to feeling abandoned and stripped of everything familiar, will she hold up while being broken down? Will Ryan be able to hold it together long enough to get to her or will a demon get through to her, and take a few steps in the Neuri Kings shoes, trying to wipe her memory of him. This is the most intense book written by Poppet in my opinion, and the best romance heating your every hearts desire.

I laughed, cried, feared, rejoiced, trusted, doubted, screamed and jumped up and down. Ryan had me on the edge of my seat the entire read.I am amazed by what Poppet has done with these characters, weaving them into such a well rounded and blended story line. Every single character interacts perfectly with the others and it all comes gift wrapped in this book for you to enjoy.

Ryan is the emotional second book in The Neuri Series. It is a whirlwind spinoff of The Pravus Series, and I would be remiss, if I didn't state that BOTH series are extremely intruiging and thought provoking. I thought there was no way another book could affect me the way Sveta (the first Neuri Book) had. But as par for the course - Poppet did not disappoint. This book of Ryan at one point left me an emotional basket case. I can truly say that I have never in all of my readings encountered a book that evoked such raw and undenieable emotions in me. I sobbed and felt an ache in my heart that was uncontrollable and completely soul wretching. From page one our heroine Phoebe is lost. Lost in a catacomb of numbness and darkness. She has been dealt a fate known to few - she has lost the love of her life - her light - her soul - her entire world. With out even getting a chance to say goodbye. Could you move on? Would you even want to? Ryan - the Neuri King has taken her in - provided for Phoebe in her time of utter despair. Can Ryan show her the way? Can he bring her back to what she once was?
I have never cried, sobbed, bawled, or came emotionally unglued as I did with this book. Poppet is an author unlike any I have ever encountered. Her ability with words never ceases to amaze me. The world she weaves sucks you in - cuddles you next to it and never lets you leave. In every day I see the light of which she speaks - and with each moment I realize that I will be forever changed for reading these books...

Ryan is Zauran and Sveta's older brother and is the Neuri King. This journey takes us on his quest to find something he didn't think he would ever find and that is love.I fell in love with Ryan reading this book.He is a character who is literally made for love. As we start to see into his lonely life we also see that he deserves nothing but happiness. Poppet has the ability to create worlds that you long to be a part of.And every book of her's that you read you are able to do that.Ryan's story is unique because he is more than a Neuri ,much more.Ryan's story has many layers that you will enjoy uncovering.

The end? The end my ass! I don't except that ending! I won't except it!! I literally stalked off from where I was after reading that ending! Phoebe has been and will always be my favorite! she's feisty and doesn't get intimidated and that mouth of hers I just love! Ryan? It's not that I don't like him I just want him to go find somebody else! I hope jowendrhan is ok and what's up with venix!? seithe made an appearance but it wasn't enough and its time to change my bandages because the blood leeking from my heart will not stop! Aisyx is next and I'm ready to see how this series ends! .... I think :D

Hard to know how to classify Poppet's book - fantasy-horror-paranormal all fit. I would have rated this 5 stars, but the ending was anti-climatic and it felt rushed...like she had a publisher's deadline. Love her characters. She manages to even the worst evil doers sympathetic and hopeful that they can be redeemed. Phoebe is desolated with the loss of her husband and best friend. Months of grief have left her fragile and near death. Finally Ryan can stand it no longer and he reaches out to help her heal. very moving. Just needed a more complete finish.
