A Dangerous Love is about Ariella, a bluestocking spinster hit by Cupid's Arrow upon seeing Emilian, half Rom, half Englishman, at a Romani encampment. I liked the sound of the set-up because I love the idea of quirky heroines chasing after reluctant rakes. However, A Dangerous Love is a repeat of The Prize, a previous story in the deWarrenne Dynasty, and I hated The Prize. Also The Stolen Bride. I just don't think I like any story starring O'Neills.
A Dangerous Love reminded me of The Prize because the hero is an asshole and he's going to tell the heroine that he's going to be an asshole to her but the heroine will believe he loves her even though he keeps hurting her in public and in private until we pass the appropriate word count and he miraculously grows up.
If all the fantasies you ever had about that one night stand who will suddenly start treating you with human decency was a book, A Dangerous Love is that book (of delusions) for you. Oh sure, Emilian will kick up a little fuss when he feels bad about mistreating Ariella but as soon as he sees disrespect to the Roms, guess who he's going to take it out on. Emilian was immature and while I liked the idea of Emilian's internal struggle trying to stay true to his cultural roots, I didn't like the execution of it. I just thought that his whole epiphany at the end was very obvious. So you're telling me, I don't have to choose one culture or the other but that I contain multitudes? Mindblown.
I like mean heroes but then I want my heroines mean. Unfortunately, Joyce's heroes are always awful and her heroines are simply doormats who will cry and do nothing about it. At least in bodice rippers, the heroines had enough self-respect to hate the hero and run off. However, it was pretty steamy so three stars.

Very emotional book... I'm sorry but I had murdering wishes several times about the male main character 😅.
Loved the story, the characters, the dialogues etc etc. Loved that despite the all HEA of the de Warenne family something terrible had happened, it makes the story more real.
Arriela de Warenne is a different woman, she reads, devour all knowledge she can and she believes in the (not so) curse of the de Warenne family it's not for her, until she meets Emilian and things escalate. Emilian is a half-blood (horrible expression!!!!), half Romany, half English, he believes he doesn't have a place in none of the worlds, but a terrible episode makes him look for his Rom heritage where there is no place for Arriela...
It's nice to see that the family is still closed, that the marriages are still going strong, even 20 years late!

4,5 ⭐️. Un amor imposible entre una noble de sangre azul y un medio gitano, bruto cómo él sólo. Ariella, un personaje fuerte, no la típica doncella en problemas esperando a ser salvada, más bien independiente y culta, todo un escándalo para la época. Libro de rápida lectura, que recomiendo de todas maneras.

As was so pleased with how much I enjoyed the Perfect Bride that I decided to try another book in the same series. Unfortunately that didn't prove to be a very wise decision in the end because both the hero and the heroine annoyed me to no end.
The hero is half gypsy. He was made to leave his mother to go live with his father while still a child, he was made fun of and abused while growing up and even today, after he inherited a title, he is not well received in the neighborhood. He takes his revenge by sleeping with has many of his neighbour's wives as he can. When his relatives move to de Warenne's land he meets Ariella. She is immediately attracted to him and tries, time and again, to get close to him. To which he always says no. But Ariella perseveres and eventually they become lovers.
Now my problem is that despite being a very tortured hero I couldn't find any sympathy for Emil. He just wasn't a nice person to Ariella and I couldn't understand while she kept playing with fire. After all during those times Ladies were supposed to have a reputation to maintain and a bastard baby would definitely be a no no. Besides, he couldn't have been clearer with her, he always maintained he did not want friendship, just sex, was she really expecting him to change his tune after a night of love making?
The fact that I was totally annoyed with the characters really ruined the story for me. I kept reading in the hopes that it would get better but till the end I never felt it did.

This is on the list of worst books I've ever read. Both main characters are immature and completely unlikeable. The story isn't compelling, or even well written. The only reason read the whole thing is because I hoped there would be at least one redeeming quality. And because I'm a fool.

What a great book this was! It was my first book to read in Brenda Joyce's de Warenne Dynasty, even though it is actually book #11 in the series. Looks like I'll have to backtrack and read more about this family as they sound different and eccentric and right up my alley!
A Dangerous Love features Emilian, a tortured hero with one foot living in the Romany world and another foot in the Englishman's world. His mother is Romany but ever since he was 12 years old he has been raised by his Aristocratic father and after his father's death Emilian bears the title of Viscount.
I felt sorry for Emilian.. he doesn't really fit in anywhere. His family in the Romany camp can clearly see that Emilian has gadjo characteristics about him, but in society there are whispers of his Romany background. He has no friends and he has really built up walls around himself. After hearing of his mother's death, at the hands of Englishmen, Emilian decides he wants.. no needs to get revenge. And the first person to cross his path is Ariella de Warrene.
I loved Ariella. She had a passion for history and knowledge and didn't worry over the latest fashions or what ball she would attend next. She wanted to travel and to see the places she read about. She also had no desire to marry, especially someone who would expect her to sit around knitting and sipping tea in her English Parlor. When Ariella first meets Emilian she has an immediate attraction to him, she even wonders if it is love at first sight. After sharing a very heated first kiss, she decides that she wouldn't mind being his lover, but first she insists on becoming his friend. Only Emilian doesn't want friendship, he wants revenge!
Ariella does get her heart broken, more than once by Emilian.. he has built up so many barriers to his heart that it takes a long time, and a lot of persistence on Ariella's part, to break down the walls so that he can find who he really is and so that he and Ariella can finally have a relationship and discover their happily ever after.
I recommend this book to anyone who loves a dark or tortured hero and anyone who loves a good Gypsy story!

Ariella fell in love at first sight. And then, whatever the way he behaved, talked to her, treated her, she could not prevent being in love and forgiving him and loving him as he is.
She's so freaking perfect: beautiful, intelligent, caring, compassionate, courageous, etc. that she really got on my nerves. Not once did she show anything that might someway resemble to a normal default.
On the other hand, Emilian had almost nothing in his favor, except his body and abilities in bed (8 times the first night...). He is stubborn, narrow-minded and kept to the same stupid ideas about his life for way way too long.
It could have been better, though it was more nicely written than other books by Brenda Joyce, I did not notice that many repetitions of "cry" for instance than in previous books.

I recently re-read this book and was startled to find I hadn't written a review for it. How could this be? The De Warenne Dynasty novels were my first proper romances. And in a way, my first loves- the very reason I adore this genre. They hold a very special place in my heart so it's high time I do this wonderful book justice.
Joyce has created two intriguing characters, both so vastly different and yet twin souls.
Ariella De Warenne ~ courageous in heart and spirit, passionate for knowledge and beautiful beyond compare~
Emilian St. Xavier ~ savagely handsome, seductive. A man as lonely as the wind and just as wild ~
I adore this book and forever find myself coming back to it. It left such an impression on me the first time I read it, and every time after it only builds. I think the real magic in this book lies within the characters. Joyce wrote such fearless characters, and to take on subjects of prejudice and bigotry was pretty fearless of her too.
Plot
Ariella (a gorgeous name) is an independent, free thinking and unconventional beauty. She, unlike her large family, has promised herself to her books, never finding much interest or attraction in the opposite sex. On her first night staying with her father and step-mother at Rosehill, something extraordinary happens. The beginning of a boundless love story.
For this is the night Emilian, a half blood part Gypsy/part English, known as the viscount St. Xavier, makes a bold and reckless move, and one that alters the course of his destiny.
The fates pair the two together, and on this night their paths cross and nothing will ever be as it was.
This is a story about love.
About discovering passion and unwavering loyalty. Overcoming prejudices, vengeance and the malice of hatred. Looking past surfaces and healing. It's about breaking barriers and bridging differences.
But most importantly, this is a story about love.
I don't want to give much away, because the plot has a number of twists and turns. It was almost as if events pushed Emilian further and further from his English heritage and towards the wild Gypsy heart of him. It was very much a journey of self-discovery for him. Caught between two worlds and amidst news of a great loss, he is spurned to make grand, life-altering decisions. Does he stay in his home of Woodland as Viscount or leave everything behind for the freedom and calling of the wide, open land?
Characters
Ariella
Hands down, one of my all time favourite heroines of all time. She was one of the reasons I fell in love with this book. I may have even liked her a teensie weensie little bit more than Emilian. And that says a lot because I love him very very dearly. Ariella is without a doubt, a highly unique and refreshing heroine. I respected and admired her. She knew her mind and she knew exactly what she wanted. Yet she handled everything that came her way with such grace and kindness. She stuck up for Emilian time and time again against the hateful whispers about his heritage. Gotta love a heroine who can stand by her man. I loved that she was an intellectual and had so many dreams and ideas. She never, not once, gave up on love. She fought hard for Emilian and it all paid off. She was also courageous as hell . To say the least, she was Emilian's salvation in more ways than one...
Emilian
I looooved him. The arrogant, proud (and when I say proud, take the pride of every alpha you've ever read and multiply that by ten), dangerously seductive and ridiculously good looking man. He was also intelligent, well matched in both mind and heart for Ariella. He was the epitome of a tortured hero, so if you're a fan then don't let him get away. You'll need the patience and understanding, the empathy and compassion that Ariella showed to handle a hero like him. There were times his actions were infuriating but all understandable.
“No man belongs to two worlds”
Logically I could see why it would annoy readers that he pushed aside his obvious attraction and love for Ariella. But I never got angry. I was very convinced of his feelings and they were all to protect her from scorn and because he believed she deserved more. He didn't think he was good enough for her, and he'd suffered a great loss . He sought revenge "budjo" at the beginning of the story and he did this through seducing Ariella. But both characters were so deeply affected by their first meeting, it was clear it was no ordinary seduction. His character was so complicated and intricate, his actions deeper than simply revenge. We were with him every step of the way- there for all the heartache, the rage and the second guessing. There were times he hated all non-gypsies "gadjos" for their terrible treatment of his people. But with Ariella, she helped him see that harbouring such hate was also toxic for him and hypocritical. One cannot achieve peace by giving in to the darkness. I loved seeing his character growth. Make no mistake, he was bad but it was a good kind of bad ;)
Romance
Well me oh my, was Emilian passionate. 8 times in one night?! Sheesh. But in all seriousness, he was intense and untamed. A raw, sensual lover who taught Ariella the ways of love and the language of body and touch. He was so delicious and I adored them as a couple. He was also so accepting and admiring of Ariella's intelligence, both so opinionated and interesting. I really thought they were a great match.
“Have I ever told you that your eyes are my obsession?”
I also love love loved (as if I haven't said it enough haha) all the characters we see from other books. I'm not one to read things in order or to ever really follow a series. I like my standalones but this is one of those rare exceptions. Another aspect of this book I enjoyed was the culture. I felt not only Ariella, but I too was learning an awful lot about Romany traditions and people. I was so glad these strong characters found each other because Emilian deserved some sunshine in the eternal midnight he was living in.
From Ariella, I have learnt to never give up on what you want (especially not on love). And from Emilian, I have learnt that despite what we are told, or what others may think, our worth lies in what we believe of ourselves. No one can make us feel anything inferior and sometimes finding who you are is as simple as finding you're other half.

Another late-post to Goodreads;
Having enjoyed A Lady at Last (mostly) - I wanted to read Ariella's book, A Dangerous Love, and I do look forward to Alexi's, however, I am completely indifferent about this book. I adore Ariella's wit and charm, and I do like Emilian's sense loyalty towards the Romany people, but, the characters didn't quite do it for me. Emilian was indecisive about his role; Englishman or Rom? And I like books with some internal battles, but I felt it took up too much time in the book and wasn't resolved as well as it could have been, he sulked throughout most of the book, which annoyed me, while Ariella, on the other hand, is so smart but so stupid when it comes to Emilian, seeking him out, even after his warnings, I enjoyed the romantic scenes in the book but I cringed a bit when, after meeting Emilian the day before, Ariella claimed to have fallen in love with him. While this book isn't totally unpleasant, it wouldn't be on the top of any of my recommendation lists. I haven't quite found the perfect Brenda Joyce book yet, but I have read a few novels by her and I did enjoy some, so I still look forward to An Impossible Attraction despite this so-so book.

I finished the book in less than 24 hours so it would only be fair if I gave 5 stars to it. I always had a thing for Gypsies (Romani people) I loved how Ariella never gave up on Emilian. I loved how she saved him.
Other readers might consider this book a cliche but I love them so I really enjoyed it.

So I finished it.
I think the title of the story should be - In which Emilian finds himself.
The hero was truly abused and ill treated for the first ten years of his life. Then he got adopted by his father and grew up to inherit a viscountcy. He always had a crisis of confidence and very mixed feelings towards the villagers. He watched his mother’s people being mistreated and his mother was murdered by a mob.
How could he be normal after that?? He was badly scarred. Very very enraged/ resentful and full of hate. Justifiably so.
On finishing the book I upgraded it to 3 stars from 2 stars.
I skimmed through large parts of it and frankly felt very impatient with both of them for just wanting to have sex all the time (sorry).
Anyway. That’s my final assessment.

I still haven’t finished but when he started scr*wing her on a terrace at a ball in her house I got disgusted. Is he dumb? Illiterate? An animal? Ok. He had to get into her pants. Fine. But then he got caught like a dog and beaten up.
What kind of mongrel is he. That’s the way she has created the hero. The author. A complete antithesis of all things heroic.
I found the hero stupid beyond words.
Belligerent.
Not heroic.
Stupid.
Heroine is stupid too.
They go all Mooney eyed and all they do is scr*w.
In between are horrible passages about the atrocities and disrespect the hero faces.

All this guy does is get beaten up. Disrespected. And get rescued by heroine.

I did not like this book at all. The atrocities and bigotry and extreme injustice against the gypsies was too realistic. If the hero had risen up against it all somehow transcended it all. Won. Been loved.
No. He was hated. Ostracised. Looked down upon.
I don’t want this much realism.
The book made me furious.
Hero’s character was truly of a scoundrel and a rogue.
He literally did not think his dumb scr*wing would impregnate her. So careless?? So illiterate. And he’s supposed to be an Oxford scholar.
I hated the book with Alexi too. That was terribly boring.
This author somehow misses out on creating the perfect book. By just putting some very odd twists in her stories. Too much info dumping. Too much adherence to what seems real at the cost of the story.
Write larger than life for gods sake. This is a story. Not a documentation.

Raiza ayrıldıktan bir yıl sonra kucağında bebeği ile Edmund'un kapısına dayanıp bebeğinin ondan olduğunu söyleyip sahiplenmesini beklemiş fakat Edmund Xavier bunu ret etmiş bebeği kabul etmemişti..
İlahi adalet tecelli edip Edmund karısı ve çocuklarını kaybettikten sonra da ünvanını bırakabileceği bir çocuğu kalmamış olduğunu fark edince aklına kabul etmediği oğlu Emillian gelir ve onu geri almak ister.On iki Yıl bir Roman olarak yaşadıktan sonra bir gadjo olarak yaşamak istemiyordu...(Gadjo Romanların Avrupalı beyazlara verdiği isim...)
Fakat annesi onu zorla da olsa babası ile gitmesi için ikna edince Emillian için yeni bir dönem başlıyordu..Babası ile birlikte yaşamaya başlar ama yarı Roman olması yüzünden yaşadıkları onu içine kapatıp sert bir adam yapmıştır..Kendini iki tarafa da ait hissetmemesi uğradığı hakaretler,davranışlar ve olaylar ruhunda büyük bir yara açmıştır..Öyle ki ondan tüm beyazlardan intikam alma hissi yaratmaktadır..
Ve ayağına da dolanan Ariella ona en yakın olan kişi olarak bundan payını alacaktır..
İşte Emillian'ın dramını okurken bazen onun için içim acıdı bazen çok kızdım..Ruhu o kadar yaralı idi ki sevmek için yaklaşana bile saldırıyordu..Kaçak Gelin'deki Elanor'dan sonra en sabırlı en gurursuz karakter idi Ariella. Emillian onu ezdikçe gösterdiği sabır ve anlayış beni çileden çıkardı bazı sahnelerde..
Ama ikilinin ilk karşılaştığı sahne de aralarında ki çekimi ben okurken onlar kadar hissettim..yazar ikili arasındaki aşk ve tutkuyu çok güzel işlemişti ..Fakat Emillian'ın Arielle'yı kendisinden uzaklaştırmak için gösterdiği tavırlar bana Devlin O'Neal'in hareketlerini anımsatarak çileden çıkardı..Fakat kitabın sonlarında ki sahne de gözlerim doldu..Yazar kitabın sonunu bence çok güzel bağlayarak hikayeyi taçlandırmıştı..
Şimdiye kadar erkekler ile ilgisi olmayan Ariella aşık olarak sevdiği adama sevgiyi fedakarlığı öğretmesi affetmeyi öğretmesi....Muhteşemdi...
Bence bu seriyi hala okumayan var ise çok şeyler kaçırıyor..Tavsiye ederim...

*Relecture*
Je ne me lasserais jamais de ce roman et de toute cette saga. Ce tome fait partie de mes coups de cœur livresques depuis ma première lecture qui date d'il y a ... longtemps haha De l'histoire aux personnages à cette romance beaucoup trop magnifique, elle me transporte encore et encore malgré les dizaines de lecture que je dois comptabiliser depuis.
Ariella de Warenne est la fille de Cliff de Warenne (héros du tome 4, Lady Flibuste, mari d'Amanda), qu'on avait déjà rencontré dans ce même tome alors qu'elle n'était encore qu'une petite fille, déjà très curieuse et mature. On la retrouve, grandit, jeune femme et toujours aussi passionné par l'exotisme d'autres civilisations, amoureuse de l'histoire, de littérature et de langues. C'est une érudit et une radicale comme elle aime s'autoproclamer, n'hésitant pas à parler de ses idées, donner son avis et dans sa famille, si ça ne dérange ni son frère Alexi ni son père, elle peut parfois agacée car, justement, elle est loin d'avoir la mentalité de toutes les jeunes filles de son âge à qui on demandait, à l'époque, d'être juste belles, silencieuses et douées en couture ou autres.
Ariella est un personnage qui me touche toujours autant. Elle est naïve, candide, en même temps très consciente que le monde n'est pas tout rose mais ne s'est encore jamais heurtée frontalement à la méchanceté gratuite des gens. On peut la voir comme une idéaliste et ça fait du bien, en quelques sortes, parce qu'elle reste tout le long du roman très positive et pourtant, elle va en baver.
Sa rencontre avec Emilian St-Xavier va littéralement la propulser dans un autre monde (et moi, me faire tomber raide dingue amoureuse de lui). Emilian est un demi-sang, moitié rom et moitié anglais, il a été arraché à sa mère dès son plus jeune âge et élevé pour devenir un héritier. Vicomte, il s'est toujours très bien occupé de son domaine sans pour autant se sentir tout à fait à sa place au sein de la société mondaine anglaise. Il méprise les gens, entends leur mépris et leurs murmures cruels alors que les femmes anglaises sont souvent les premières à vouloir entamer une liaison avec lui. L'excitation de "l'inconnu", je présume. C'est un personnage hargneux, blessé, perdu et qui a très peu confiance en lui finalement. Sa haine pour les "gadjos" est forte et sans failles au début du roman. C'est sa rencontre avec Ariella qui va littéralement tout changer.
La romance entre eux est passionnelle. Sans qu'on parle forcément du côté érotique, les sentiments sont forts, puissants et c'est ce qui me plait à chaque fois. Brenda Joyce nous expose l'amour entre Emilian et Ariella comme quelque chose qui va au delà des mots qu'on peut prononcer, ce sont juste deux corps et deux âmes qui s'attirent. Leur histoire est malgré tout perturbée par bien des obstacles. Entre le racisme dont va être témoin Ariella et victime Emilian, la famille d'Ariella qui sera fortement contre ce début d'histoire mais surtout Emilian qui va à chaque fois repousser Ariella, la traitant aussi rudement que possible pour qu'elle le déteste, c'est ce qui rythme le récit mais ça n'est jamais ennuyant. Ariella est d'une fidélité sans failles envers Emilian qui, lui, se bat contre ses propres sentiments, se brise, se reconstruit et tout ça jusqu'à trouver enfin le bon chemin.
Je ne peux pas tout dire parce qu'il y aurait beaucoup trop à dire et alors beaucoup trop de spoilers mais cette histoire est l'une des meilleures que j'ai pu lire niveau romance historique ! Je conseille cette saga à qui serait tenté parce que chaque tomes vaut quelque chose. Des personnages bien travaillés, un univers bien mené, des histoires bien rythmées, tout est fait pour vous faire tomber sous le charme !

Regardless of the good writing style. The plot and characters were a disappointment to me.
If you're a fan of The Stolen Bride, you might love this.
I have a love-hate relationship with this book. One thing I didn't like for sure was both of the main characters: how the heroine thinks she's better than others 'because she reads books' and how the hero is the king of mixed signals by throwing a cycle of romantic confessions then followed by being distant and pushing the heroine away.
I started reading the DeWarrene dynasty books to get to this one. I'm glad I read them in order, as I've figured that, in addition to understanding the family dynamics, there's a pattern: You either like some books a lot, mark them as favorites, and fantasize about the stories and characters, such as I with The Game, Promise of The Rose, The Masquerade, A Lady at Last, or you either feel that you are somehow trying to finish a book where the story is somewhat dull or monotonous or the characters are irritating.
I may be unfair; if you are interested in themes where the hero is cool and intent on revenge and takes it on the heroine who has no pride, then yes, you might love it. To me, it's not my go-to.
The characters:
I disliked the hero and heroine. Both muleheads.
Xavier is an illegitimate child to a nobleman. He is thus half-Gypsy and half-English. Due to the horrors that were done to his family and tribe, he is intent on revenge from the English, even from those who aren't involved or guilty.
The heroine was a disappointment too. I expected something else. It's one thing that she speaks her mind, defends defenseless people and loves adventure, but it's a completely different and horrible thing to think oneself far superior than the ladies of her acquaintance just because she 'reads a lot of books' and 'doesn't like fashion'... ugh, I can't with such characters.

- In the others, such as this, The Stolen Bride and I guess The Promise (as Alexi's story from this book seems to have such a take): the hero is cool, distant and pushes the heroine away. The heroine doesn't show enough dignity to know when to back off.

Yine bir Brenda Joyce kitabı , hep söylüyorum Brenda Joyce okumak bir ayrıcalıktır. Bu kitabında yeni bir nesile geçiş yapmış artık. Cliff'in o kitap kurdu minik kızı Ariella büyümüş de genç kadın olmuş :)
Beğendim ama karakterlerin ara sıra olan dengesiz ruh halleri gerdi beni , GERDİ! Kitap yine akıcıydı fakat Emilian'ın tavırları en az Devlin kadar sinir bozucuydu . Ariella'ya bayıldım. Tam istediğim kadın tipi fakat birazcık cesurundan :D Yürek yedirmişler kıza :D

Vai 3 com jeitinho. Não me agradou que ela andasse atrás dele como um cachorrinho que por mais fosse afastado voltava sempre. Muito ele a afastou mas ela nem ai nem ui. Foi um pouco de mais.
Gosto muito da família Warenne e da escrita da autora mas confesso que neste livro fiquei um pouco desapontada.

3.5... Brenda'nın kalemini çok beğeniyorum aslında. Yine akıcıydı, duygusaldı fakat yarattı karakterler bu sefer tipim değildi. :-D Emilian'ın kararsızlığı sinir etti sanırım. Tut işte kızı kolundan bırakma ne var yani -,- :-D

Bellissimo, commovente, emozionante e coinvolgente. Se non fosse per i primi capitoli che mi hanno lasciata un po' perplessa avrei dato le cinque stelline piene. Ma ne merita comunque quattro e mezzo. Uno dei più belli della serie... Almeno finora.

This book was a little frustrating the female lead character was constantly chasing the male lead character and most of the time he was actin' a fool!!

Ben Brenda Joyce kitaplarını Kitapyurdundan toplu aldığımdan hiç bakmamıştım çünkü içinde 8. Kitap yok hemen aldım tabi onu da ama o gelene kadar ben 9. Kitabı bitirdim bile 😂
@illekitaplahistoricalokuyoruz için her ay historical okusak da yaz aylarının gelmesi ile grup biraz tatile girer gibi oldu ve ben iki aydır okumayınca baya özlediğimi fark ettim 😍
🌸 Kitabın konusuna gelecek olursak 🌸
Vikont Emilian yarı İngiliz yarı Romandır. Küçükken annesinden alınıp babasının yanına Woodlanda getirilir ve babasının yerine geçebilmesi için yetiştirilir. Vikont olsa bile sosyeteden her zaman Roman yani çingene olduğu için dışlanır. Her ne kadar umursamıyorum dese de içinde derin yaralar açılır. Bu yaralara bir de Gacolar tarafından annesinin öldürüldüğünü duyunca bir yenisi daha eklenirken tam nefretinin karşısına Cliff De Warenne'in hikayesini okurken gördüğümüz küçük kızı Arielle çıkar.
Her ne kadar tek istediği kitap okumak seyahat etmek olsa da De Warenne aşkı sonunda Arielle'yi de bulur. Ama aşk konusunda en çok Arielle çekti bu kitapta.
İngilizlerden intikam alacam derken Arielle derin ızdıraplada giriyor. İntikam mı aşk mı onu görüyoruz.

Allahım bir ara kitabın içine girip yeter artık Arielle otur şurda diye bağırmak istedim 😂 yani son sayfaya kadar kızdan kaçmak ne 🙄Kız aşkına, arkadaşlığın, dostluğunu her şeyine sahip çıkarken sendeki bu gurur ne Emilian 🤨 aşırı gıcık oldum. Bir dur bir bak bu kız senin için neler yapıyor.
De Warenne ailesini okumayı çok özlemişim. Seri bu kitapla başka bir boyut kazanmış. Geçmiş de okuyuğumuz karakterin artık çocukları var ve onlarda içinde geçince ayrı mutlu oluyorum 🤩
