Spock has been enrolled in the academy for *** when Pon Farr hits and 'something' calls to him out in the city. Following the call he finds a runaway James Kirk.
The Expected happens but instead one of them running off at dawn they stay together and build a life. I would like to see Mpreg with an at least remotely possible explanation!!
It is your choice if Jim joins fleet or not and how the story goes from there.
This will probably be pretty damned mature; be warned because that's all the warning I'm going to give. I haven't decided about the mpreg; please let me know if you think I should and if so, who gets knocked up?

A bit of a meh read, with a different take on Jim's past that changes how the character feels from the usual, but overall seems pretty feel-good and sweet with some definite beginnings of romance between the two that will surely develop more with the addition of a child (Spock is the pregnant one) as they continue to learn each other. However, while interesting and enjoyable enough, I'd prefer something that doesn't make the characters feel quite so off, even with their background circumstances.
