Talon by Pepper North is book 6 in the Shadowridge Guardians MC Series. This is the story of Elizabeth and Talon. Talon when he accidentally runs into Elizabeth outside of a store he knows that she is the one for him. But he has to get Elizabeth on board. Enjoyed this book.

Good

Such a good story. I absolutely loved it. Talon and Elizabeth make such a good couple. I honestly hope we r done with the Devils jesters. I love how she put them in there place. I hope they keep the story time thing up in other books. I can't wait for the next one. I would definitely recommend this book and this series

As far as MC fiction goes, The Shadowridge Guardians are MC-lite, which is a good thing. There's a bit of action and suspense, but nothing too dramatic or violent. Talon and Elizabeth's relationship is the center rather than the MC. I have to say insta-love and DD/LG are not either my things, but they're tolerable here. I do like Talon and Elizabeth individually, especially Talon, and they make a cute couple. Some of the LG things squick me out, but that's just my tastes, and not a knock on the writing or the story. All in all, this is a sweet reverse age gap story with two very likable characters and a cast of equally likable secondary characters in the MC brothers.

I did enjoy this one apart from a couple of things that totally spoilt it.

I did enjoy parts of this book, but I wish Talon was older. He’s only 25, and he felt a bit like a kid at times, then he’s daddying Elizabeth. It just didn’t work for me. (Own personal preference, I would like him to be older than Elizabeth.) Elizabeth is a prosecutor who is a strong woman, who has a little side to her. I loved that. Some authors write about littles as though they’re brainless so it was lovely to read about a little who is extremely clever. When Elizabeth and Talon first get together it did feel really rushed as he takes one look at her and says mine. Within days of meeting they’re having sex and she’s moved in with him, and that didn’t feel believable. When Elizabeth has trouble with another Mc, the club all rally round her, and protect her, which was really sweet.

While I enjoyed this one more than some of the other books in the series, there’s one thing that totally ruined it for me. Doc examining Elizabeth and she’s naked, WITHOUT HER PERMISSION. Talon forces her to be examined in the nude and they restrain her at one point. Doc ISN’T a qualified doctor and he shouldn’t be looking at women’s parts!!! 😡😡😡 I keep forgetting about this with Doc. It was in some of the books but not others. Just to make it even worse he discusses about Elizabeth enjoying the thermometer in her b*ttom. Gross. 🤮🤮 It felt like he sexually abused her.

Then there are the missing parts. The first time they have sex, I had no idea until later on that they were in his house. It doesn’t describe the house at all, what it looks like, or where it is, and most importantly, how did they get there?? It never says. Before Talon meets Elizabeth’s parents, Elizabeth only ever thinks about her mother, so I assumed she was on her own. Till later when Talon meets both parents.

Would I recommend this book? ABSOLUTELY NOT! For the simple fact that the littles should have the right to say no to another man looking at their v*g*nas who isn’t a doctor!!! 😡😡😡😡

Elizabeth just got out of a loveless marriage. She certainly didn’t expect to bump into a hot sexy biker. Talon saw her and knew she was the one. She was giving off the Little vibes. When these two saw each other a second time, you knew things were going to heat up. When a rival MC starts trouble, it’s Talon and the Shadowridge Guardians that come to the rescue. But what is there deal? I love that Talon seems to always be there when she needs him. He takes charge from the start and let’s her know he will tan her hide if she doesn’t listen. Liz didn’t expect to find a daddy and even more and man that would show her what she was truly worth. I do love these two. Liz is a lawyer and Talon is a hot sexy younger man that sweeps her off her feet. The thinking punishment was an eye opener. I have to say the reasoning for the other MC was odd. I feel we will see them again. There is more to their story as well. We also get a taste of the next story, Bear. Looking forward to finding out what happens to Addie.

Puff and Borscht

I love love love this sixth book in the Shadowridge Guardians MC series.
Talon is an engaging character with a lot of charisma. When he meets Elizabeth, she walks into him, and he knows immediately that she is his. Elizabeth is intrigued by this handsome biker, but having just got out of a painful marriage, she's not even thinking that way.
Elizabeth is a kick as lawyer who stands up to the worst type on a daily basis. Handing one far too good-looking and young biker should not be a problem.
Can be work his charm, gain her affection, and protect her from a biker gang that is harassing her.
I love these characters, I adore the MC interactions and all the littles that get wrapped up in everyone's life.
These characters are beautifully written with love and devotion to the story.
I am thoroughly enjoying this series and highly recommend it and the author.

What a fabulous story. When Elizabeth bumps into Talon outside the grocery store, he knows that Elizabeth is his Little. Later that night when he is at the bar, he recognises Elizabeth at a table and promptly lays his claim and now it’s up to him to convince the lovely Little lawyer that he’s her Daddy. When Talon rescues Elizabeth from Vengeance, a member of the Devil’s Jesters MC who is set on terrifying her to the point that she needs an escort from the courthouse to her home. Eventually things are sorted out and Elizabeth is able to relax again and concentrate on her career and her relationship with Talon. I loved how these two were able to work through their differences and eventually to have a happily ever after.

As Elizabeth walked out of the store she hit a brick wall her groceries hit the ground but a strong pair of hands with a deep laugh kept her from hitting the ground with her bruised apples. She soon realizes he was laughing at her attempt of swearing saying horse feathers. Talon knew right then and there her found his perfect little. Everything Elizabeth thought about bikers and clubs was about to change. She never expected to see Talon on the Dance floor at the Hangout, her friend Janine convinced her to go out for nachos & to celebrate Elizabeth Divorce. Elizabeth was swept off her feet & was schooled about Shadowridge Guardians. After that night she found she was apart of a new family with a loving Daddy. Talon & Elizabeth's story is full of twist and surprises.

I first have to state I don't like MC stories except The Shadowridge Guardians. This book is Talon and Elizabeth. Elizabeth's just divorced from cheating dull marriage. But going to the farmers market and threatened by a member of another MC gang, Talon steps in made it his mission to help both ladies. Meeting Elizabeth he immediately knew she was his. Meeting Talon, she doesn't know if she wants another relationship with any man. But Talon doesn't give up on claiming his little girl. Protecting her from other MC gang providing her help and support.
The story is sweet and steamy at the same time and it's so good!
I loved visiting with all the little girls from past stories and the guys who are getting ready for their future stories.

1.5/5⭐️ This book felt super rushed. It had the potential to be a really sweet story if it wasn’t so quick and we had more context. It took being 82% of the way through the book before we got a slight description of her and the description of him was also very limited. Details like that are really important to me and we didn’t really get that.

There was also a few inconsistencies and very little Dd/lg dynamic actually in it, which was just a bummer. Also, why was he always roaring?! 🤣

I liked that she was quite a strong FMC and that she stood up for herself but I wish everything especially with the rival club resolved differently as well.

Any who, I’m looking forward to Bear’s book and hope we get an Ink story as well..

This is the latest in the Shadowridge Guardians series, and like the others it is standalone with it's own HEA. MC romances is not something I ever choose to read, except this series because I adore the idea of bikers carrying an emergency fluffy in their saddlebags. This story of Talon and Elizabeth is engaging, well written and flows well from start to finish. The story includes the others from previous and future books, without overwhelming the reader with characters they may know little about. This is a very easy to read story and I loved the relationship between Talon and Elizabeth. Definitely worth reading.

Talk about serendipity! Distracted coming out of grocery store & walk right into a tall, handsome, scary biker! And cuz he scared her she snapped with bravado she didn't really feel. He was friendly & helped her pick up her groceries. He even told her she was his, I believe. LOL

Talon like the rest of the Club is a Daddy. The single ones are still looking for their own Little's! Talon's journey has begun.

I love these stories, too bad there really aren't groups of men who hang together like family & are Daddy's looking for Little's! Not that I'm looking for a Daddy, just a good man! Do they exist only in sexy stories?

Oh well! Enjoy!!

There are no words for how much I loved Talon! I loved how strong Elizabeth is. She is a Little with a spine of steel. She is a sweetie of a LG but strong enough to face down bad guys. And Talon is a wonderful mix of funny prankster and firm Daddy. The story has one of my favorite elements, the gut falls in love in the first minute and is true to the woman throughout. There is just something so wonderful about the Shadowridge Guardians books. This multi-author series meshes together seamlessly. Each character a work of art.

This is the 6th book in a shared world Pepper North shares with authors Kate Oliver, and Becca Jameson.

Talon is a member of the Shadowridge MC. Elizabeth is a divorced attorney who is wondering if real Daddies actually exist. She finds her self in a bit of trouble but Talon is there. He's more than willing to help her and show her that yes good Daddies do exist-and he's hers! I loved how the series is all about found family and how they are all there for each other. This is a sweet, spicy story and I can't wait for the next one!

This one put a big smile on my face, so good.

An excellent blend of cute, humourous, witty with a hint of danger and suspense thrown in.
Intriguing and entertaining enough that it is hard to put down.

I really like the way Pepper North writes her main female characters as independent and highly intelligent with good career prospects. There is no reason for them to be submissive or Little except for the happiness it brings them and their partners. Everything is consensual and works to enhance their relationship dynamics.

Talon is an unexpected surprise, love his Daddy vibes.

On the surface, Talon and Elizabeth seem like opposites. She's older, divorced, a lawyer. He's younger and an MC member. But they fit because he's the perfect Daddy to her little girl. A member of the Devil's Jesters seems to have it out for Elizabeth and Talon and his MC are going to protect what's his. Elizabeth immediately sees that having an OTT daddy is just what she needs. We had a couple of twists and turns in this story that I wasn't expecting, but I loved being surprised. Great HEA for Talon and Elizabeth.

The next Shadowridge Guardian book is here and it's Talon and Elizabeth. I loved how Talon made it his mission to make Elizabeth his. She's come out of a lackluster marriage but gets harassed by a member of another MC gang that are not nice. Talon helps her out but she doesn't know if she wants another relationship with any man. Talon doesn't give up and you find yourself rooting for them. I loved seeing all the other girls that have gotten their stories and the guys who are getting future stories. The story is sweet and steamy at the same time and it's so good!

Yet another delightful story in this series! Each one always makes my heart happy and this one certainly did. Talon has been looking for a Little girl and stumbles upon Elizabeth. These two are perfect for each other and I loved how she keeps him on his toes. Plus the fact she is a bit older than him made me enjoy this story even more. She’s feisty and an amazing lawyer who pulls no punches. Talon definitely has met his match with Elizabeth. Plus their chemistry is smoking hot! A definite must read!

After her divorce the last thing that Elizabeth is looking for is a man especially one who is younger and a member of an MC even if he seems to know what she needs better than she does.

Even though he and Elizabeth may have met by chance Talon knows that she is his destiny. He is determined to show her that he is the Daddy she didn’t know she wanted and protecting her is his priority.

Elizabeth is still dealing with the emotional aftermath of her divorce and Talon is understanding as he shows her that she is all he needs and she can trust him with her heart.

Surprises galore in this book!

You know that Elizabeth is a Little right from the start. She's a cutie. That said, her profession- we find out much later- was a shock to me, but she pulls it off well. You'll have to read this to find out. ;D I loved how dominant, take-charge, and sure Talon was throughout this story. Loved him. Elizabeth is 7 years older than Talon, but it doesn't matter at all and it's only mentioned twice. I loved all the bikers at Talon's ballroom dance competition. Too funny. I think you'll enjoy this addition to this series.

Dancing King 🤣🤣🤣

I have really enjoyed each addition to this series. While each author has their own "voice" they do a great job incorporating the characters and situations from previous books.

Elizabeth was a great FMC. She had a very high level, affluent job and her transfer to Little was fun to see. Also, the sass and stubbornness was strong with this one! Lol

Flipside to her was Talon, a lighter/carefree guy with a blue-collar job who also happened to be younger.

Their dynamic was that much more enjoyable because of their different personality types.

The Shadow Ridge Guardians. Talon's turn to find his Little! Smile!

Having come from a "not so good" marriage, Elizabeth/Liz, is not so sure she wants to jump into another relationship!

I loved that Talon was younger, yet "wiser" than Liz.

I loved that he persevered, gently convincing Liz!

For me, this trope is just feel good! Don't get me wrong, there's plenty of steam, but, I read to warm my heart!

OMG ... Talon made my old heart sing. Elizabeth got out of a disastrous marriage with a narcissistic ass ... to dance into the heart of a tough biker. It was a sweet read, full of laughs and 'oh gosh' moments. Love watching, reading as each biker in the MC find their match. It shows even high powered professionals can be comfortable in their skin as a Little or Daddy. Highly recommended everyone reads this one.

I loved Elizabeth's curses! I have not heard Futternutter in decades! So much fun with memories. I liked Janine. What happens at the Hangout and then at the farmer's market? I thought Elizabeth needed to add Sugarfoot to her curses! Who are Slash and Vengeance? Why do they follow Elizabeth? When I found out the reason, I was surprised. I liked Talon's mom. Enjoy the read! I cannot wait for the next one!

This is a fabulous series and the books don't need to be read in order to fully enjoy them.

Liz and Talon are so much fun. From the very first meeting, I was enchanted and entertained. Their story is sweet with a lot of heat, and it has so much humor. I love the way Liz curses. It had me giggling throughout. There are twists and surprises in this one, and the plot moves quickly without feeling rushed. It's a wonderful addition to the series.

I'm loving the Shadowridge Guardians series! I haven't read all of them, but I didn't feel lost when I read this one.

I absolutely loved Talon! Even though he was younger, he was a great Daddy to Liz. He was patient and kind even when she didn't understand what was going on.

Liz definitely wasn't prepared for Talon. I loved how she gave him a chance even though she was scared out of her mind. I loved how they were able to solve their problems with relatively no angst.

I have enjoyed the whole Shadowridge Guardians MC series. If you love age-play you will enjoy these daddies. Talon finds his Little but she is also a kick ass woman who takes on the other MC. She won't be intimated, but still needs her daddy support. Talon's dancing skills are legendary in this too and an appearance from his mother causes a few issues.
Thoroughly enjoyed. Would recommend you read the others but not essential.

Talon's book had several surprises. I am not going to give them all away in this review because learning them while reading was one of my most favorite parts of this story! If you have not been reading this series please do yourself a favor and start at the beginning. You do not have to but it is so worth it! I enjoyed reading from the start so that you meet characters along the way and it builds.
They are so easy to get engrossed in! I could hardly put them down.
