The Book of Daniel is a study, a commentary, of the book of Daniel in the Bible. Each verse and each sentence is dissected to unveil great prophesies which are coming to fruition today. It cannot be over-emphasized how relevant this book is to our current generation. The book of Daniel covers everything from the sorry state of today’s denominations, to corrupt governments whom will not be changed before the end of the world as we know it. Many devastating things which will come to pass are clearly defined in this book. However, Daniel doesn’t stop here. We, the children of God, are shown the beautiful way of a true Christian’s life, as modeled by Daniel himself. We truly are blessed and must give all glory to God for His generous gift of salvation, through His Son, Jesus Christ.

Each verse in the Biblical Book of Daniel is studied in depth, in the same order as presented in the Bible. The author defines words and phrases typically ignored and expounds on the prophetic times and seasons well documented by Daniel. These prophecies are clear and undisputable, and as the author points out, Christ intended that we know about the times and seasons so we can watch for His return. This book is originally taken from a series of messages by Russell Martin Stendal, while in Colombia, South America. Originally written in Spanish, this book was later translated into English to encourage Christians in the western world.

About the author

Russell Stendal, a former hostage of Colombian rebels, is a lifelong missionary to that same group in the jungles of Colombia. He is an influential friend to military and government leaders in Colombia, Cuba, Mexico, Venezuela, and the United States. Russell's ministry shares the gospel via twelve radio stations, hundreds of thousands of Bibles, books, and movies distributed through airplane parachute drops, and numerous speaking engagements for groups of leaders, prisoners, and individuals. Russell goes wherever the Lord leads, whether it's to speak with a president or to go deep into the jungle to help an individual in trouble. He has witnessed thousands commit their lives to Christ.

Written by one who has earned the right to share with us due to his on-going and demonstated Christ-like ministry.

This book will make you take a good hard look at your relationship Jesus

Unpacks much of the prophecy in Daniel and links to both current culture and Revelation. Very readable and interesting from both Biblical and current events view.

This was a very informative book. However, the author repeated himself often and used examples that weren't relevant. I really tried to get through the whole book but just couldn't finish it.
