This is a truly wonderful book for those interested in using herbalism as medicinal tea. Note: the author does provide a disclaimer that you should check with your doctor before utilizing any of the teas to treat specific medical issues, especially if you are taking prescription medications. That said, the herbs are listed alphabetically and there is a thorough description of what each herb may be used for. There are also interesting notes about the herbs that provide background or unusual tidbits about the herb. While the author occasionally mentions herbal tea blends throughout the book, the one thing I would like to have seen would be a section listing various herbal blends. Overall, this book is an excellent resource & I highly recommend it!

I really love tea. It is tasty and fun to drink. This book just gave me 101 more reasons to drink tea. I learned so much about all the medicinal uses and different ways to brew herbs. I don't think this is an exhaustive list because I noticed some of my favorites weren't listed (could just be they taste good and don't have many benefits), but I can't wait to try them out and start my own herb garden.
