I have added this to The Internet Archive under the exact name seen here after wanting to read the original short version of Square Eyes (Anna Mill, Luke Jones). Please find the original free to download PDF there

I stumbled across this ebook while looking at Isabel Greenberg's website. Her short story, Love in a Very Cold Climate (featured in The Encyclopedia of Early Earth), won the Observer/Cape/Comica graphic short story prize in 2011. This ebook collects the best of the winners and runners up from 2007-2011. There are definitely some serious stand outs (like Greenberg's) and if you have time to page through the ebook I definitely recommend it. None of the stories are more than 4 pages, so none of the stories are a big investment. I think many of the stories (like Greenberg's) were either pieces of larger works or were fleshed into longer works. I definitely plan on seeking out some of the authors.

My favorites:
- Days of the Bagnold Summer by Joff Winterhart
- Spilt Soda by Adam Cadwell
- Teapot Therapy by A.J. Poyiadgi
-Picus Viridus by Ant Blades
-Ding by Olu Oke and Michael O'Kelly
-Aubrey by Laurie J. Proud
- Square Eyes by Anna Mills and Luke Jones

Some of the cartoons left me gaped in awe and some others just so-and-so.
