In Torn, AnDerecco takes us into Junction High School in Jackson, Mississippi where we look into the lives of Demarcus Slaughter, Keira Garcia, Zeshawn Bracey, and Cameron Lawson. Four lives are about to intersect in romance and scandal.
At the heart of the novel Demarcus, an All American ball player, Keira, coping with the lost of her mother, Zeshawn, a gay student that is secure in who he is, and Cameron, a spoiled young man that is very carefree.
All of these characters face the challenge of keeping the faith--in themselves. While AnDerecco's heartfelt storytelling reveals how the love of family can help one to face the terrible legacy of long-held secrets.

AnDerecco was born in Laurel, Mississippi and raised in Waynesboro, Mississippi. Always smiling even as a baby, AnDerecco's agreeable nature and sunny disposition warmed the hearts of family and strangers alike.
Licensed and ordained, he has ministered the gospel since 1994 in several churches and positions.
He enlisted in the U.S Army right out of high school and was medically discharged. He attended Jones Junior College and graduated from Alcorn State University with a degree in Business Administration. He will graduate Fall 2012 with a Master's of Education degree in Special Education from University of West Alabama.
AnDerecco worked in the banking industry for five years while living in Waynesboro, Mississippi. He finally quit when the job was unfulfilling. He made a career change to education. He just completed his sixth year teaching.
He wrote his first novel, Who Can I Run To?, in 1999 and did not publish it until 2010 and sold it mostly at locally owned bookstores, beauty salons, and book clubs.
