Covers 100 years of New York City subway history, mostly pictures with captions with limited text. My favorite parts were the chapters on Signage & Graphics and Route & System Maps, though found the whole book interesting.

I thought these pictures were well-organized, provided a kind of timeline of certain areas in the subway, and were interesting. I also thought the text was pretty good if only because it was short.
