Ella's Masque: Erotic Fairy Tales

Rate this book
Orphan Ella invents erotic stories to while away the hours while tending to her two step-aunts in their beachside hut.

There’s Polwark the Carver, who literally brings his love to life; a dwarf beset by lustful naiads; a drowning prince who finds joy in the arms of a mermaid; and a lovely young weaver whose prison cell is visited nightly by an artful rescuer. Did I mention there’s also a version of Snow White?

A full-length novel that includes 12 short erotic tales, Ella’s Masque is a rollicking, erotic adventure on the oceans of imagination.

Available at Lulu, Amazon, Barnes & Noble and other online stores.

I was unsure where I was headed at first with this unusual tale of a young girl with a gift for storytelling. As I slowly realized this wasn't a simple collection of erotic fairytales--but several fairytales inside one larger fairytale--I became more interested, if not entranced. Not only that, this all-encompassing story was the product of all the tales entwined within it. Morals abound in Ella's Masque and each little tale has its own food for thought.

It really is very clever and I admire the author's imagination and creativity in pulling this story together. Julie Ambrose introduced me to words I did not know as well as kept me amused recognizing strands of well-known fairytales that weaved their way throughout her novel.

This is a fun, enjoyable and ultimately uplifting story peppered with hot, spicy scenes that take an age-old form of storytelling into adult eyes only territory and comes complete with a satisfying `happy ever after` ending.

Give it a go and read something entirely different from the usual erotica fare on offer.

wonderfully erotic tales
Ella is young girl who feels trapped by her situation, living with her two mean step-aunts. So to pass the time and entertain her self she makes up erotic tales. These tales she later retells to her aunts and various other people that come into her life.
First off I was surprised at how well written this was because most erotic fairy tales are written as loosely similar tales already told and usually verging more on the porn side of bad writing. However these tales where interesting and certainly had that classic fairy tale feel to them with some nicely erotic twists.
Id certainly read more of Julie Amborse's work she manages to create tales that are imaginative, sexy and slightly quirky.

A stunning combination of fantasy, fairy tale and sex.

I stumbled upon this book a little while ago and I'm so glad I did. While I believe Julie Ambrose wrote this book for women, I enjoyed reading it from a male perspective as well. She has cleverly woven fantasy and sex into the old familiar fairy tales of old.

Julie has kept the story well grounded even though she is dealing with mythical creatures such as imps and fire sprites. The clever use of a self contained short story in each chapter added to the book's interest.

Ella's Masque has a strong erotic appeal to both men and women but it is more than that. It is a very enjoyable read and an escape from the humdrum of life.
