The best-selling authors of The Carbohydrate Addict's Diet introduce two hundred all new low-carbohydrate recipes designed to suit the special moods, tastes, and cravings of every dieter, all organized according to lists of longings--from salty and spicy to cool and refreshing. 75,000 first printing.
I haven't tried any of the recipes yet but I have several marked to try out. I had read though the book really quickly at first and marked a few but then went through the recipes again a bit slower and found a few more. Some some really good. Maybe I'll update this when I actually make the recipes.
I do have a few problems with the book though: 1) How are you going to have a book all about cravings and not have a chapter on DESSERTS!?!? That's my main craving! The first thing my husband said when he saw the cover of the book was "if there a replacement for chocolate chip cookies?" 2) I didn't read /all/ of the intros above the recipes but I did read most of them. Many of them came off a bit braggy. Like "When we were on this amazing trip to [insert country here] doing [insert cool thing here], we ate this meal for lunch." Really? Did you have to talk about the country you were visiting in order to give the recipe (it's not like the recipes were native to those countries).
