I will start with the disclaimer that I didn’t finish this book. In fact, I probably only read about 20% of it. I have always desired, and struggled, to understand and retain the Hebrew calendar. The information on the subject in this book followed that trend for me. I felt like I was neither grasping nor retaining. I started the daily devotions at the end of the Hebrew year and it wasn’t flowing, wasn’t speaking, and I wasn’t sure I was even in the right place. I decided to start fresh at the beginning of the new Hebrew year but the daily devotions still just aren’t speaking to me. I sense that this is a brilliant book but I’ve not been able to step in to the flow of it. Made the decision to move on and stop the struggle with this one.
