Wow. Such a great shifter read. Chase and Ruby's story is great. I felt like I was in the mountains with them. Read for yourself. Absolutely great!.

The FMC did not impress me from the get-go; who hits someone with their car in a blizzard and then immediately launches into verbal attacks that escalate into physical ones? Who looks back at the mangled remains of her victim’s motorcycle and feels more sadness for the possibly-smashed designer perfumes she just picked up on sale in her car? A villain!
She oh-so-helpfully drags him to a ratty old cave so that he doesn’t die, and then attacks him again once he’s awake and mostly-healed from the accident (gee thanks) and it immediately turns wildly sexual with the help of the good ol’ body betrayal syndrome—wolf shifter edition—where being bitten on the scruff by a male forces her to lift her tail and present. 🙄 luckily he waits a whole nother 8 hours after this to actually do the deed (in human form) or else it’d be dubcon I guess.
Turns out the FMC is a virgin who has never heard of *la petite mort,* had to be explicitly told that certain acts can lead to pregnancy, didn’t know that sex hurts the first time… in her POV she literally says she thinks she is dying… twice… she’s remarkably chill for a near-murder victim honestly. The whole thing is so ridiculous and unsexy and WHY did she not tell him? Then she tries to run away and dig herself out right after and gets caught in a snow collapse. She’s the epitome of TSTL.
After making ridiculous declarations of killing anyone else who touches the other person after knowing each other for less than 48 hours, our odd couple set off to go find food. Instead, they find a bear and MMC tries to sacrifice himself so that FMC might live. Luckily she finds her brother, who saves him and then threatens his life because MMC is a Montague and FMC is a Capulet or whatever. But Big Brother Capulet lets MMC off with a warning this time. Never come back, he says.
Gee, we’re 30% of the way through the novel and MMC has been told to stay away from FMC, I wonder how this will turn out?
There are so many terrible, idiotic scenes that I just don’t know where to begin…
Sigh… the rest of the book doesn’t get much better, jumping from supernatural weirdness to death and murder to spicy scenes quick enough to give you whiplash. The Big Bad turns out to not be the villain, who is never caught; guess you gotta read through the series to figure out what the heck was going on in this one. I’ll pass.

Chase and Ruby's Story . . .
This is a first meeting you won’t find in many stories where we get a motorcycle crashing in a blizzard as he is run over by a jeep and further injured in a fight. Ruby is a wolf from the Silver Dawn pack, enemies of Chase’s Dark Moon pack. He is out looking for a runaway child. Not expecting a blizzard, he took off on his motorcycle. Forced off the highway by a semi when the sudden relentless blizzard hits, his motorcycle skids on black ice and puts him in the enemy’s territory.
Chase, the “Tracker”, is trying to find Brody, a kid who ran away for no known reason. Unless Brody shifts and hides out in a cave, he may not survive out in this weather. As he is trying to get out of the Silver Dawn territory before anyone sees him, a yellow jeep comes out of nowhere, spins out of control, and crashes into his motorcycle as he flies over the hood and his body slams into a tree. He hit so hard that the back of his helmet was cracked. Once the woman driver sees that she did not kill him as she feared, she yelled at him for riding a motorcycle in a blizzard and almost killing HER. All he could do was grin and call her Princess, which set her off again. But when his eyes flash yellow, she knows he is from the enemy pack and shifts to attack him. His ribs are cracked, arm broken, coughing up blood as he rolls down the hill away from her. He needs to shift or she will kill him, but this is going to hurt in his condition. Then he hears her voice in his head saying he is ugly with fur that looks like a brown grease stain. She is pure white and he taunts her about using bleach on herself and being a little bunny. Infuriated, she jumped on his injured body and he had to bite her leg or die. Her blood has an odd effect on him. As he savors her taste, she again attacks and bites him. When he gets her on her back, she kicks at his belly and his ribs crack further. He lies still in the snow, ready to die as he goes unconscious.
Ruby is elated that she has won her fight. She is ready to go home and forget all about him. But she stops and looks back, blaming him for trespassing rather than blame herself for sneaking off to the mall for designer perfume… and she was the one lost control and hit him. But he is a man, not an animal. She can’t just walk away. And the blizzard is so bad that she probably could not make it home either, even in wolf form. Blood leaks from his mouth and he is barely breathing. Can her wolf drag him to a nearby cave? Is it too late for him to survive? And what is stealing the pups and killing livestock? Each of their packs blames the other… could it be someone or something else doing this?

Told in dual POV, Find Me Tracker starts off with Chase, the second in command of The Dark Moon Pack and descendant of Raul (whom we met in the prequel). He is the pack tracker and is on the hunt for a missing teen. When a blizzard hits, he gets into an accident with a female and is injured. While the female was to render aid to the him they both discover they are not only shifters, but from rival packs.
Ruby is the princess of her pack. With very few children born in their pack anymore and even fewer females, the fate of her pack literally rests on her shoulders. With her father missing, her brother is in charge of the Silver Dawn pack, defendants of Raina and Cassius. He wants to marry Ruby off to his beta to try to ensure the survival of their pack. Ruby knows it is her duty to help her people and resigns to do what she must for their sake. But what happens when she is suddenly snowed in with a rival male? Tensions are high, sparks are flowing, and the hatred somehow is turning into…. Lust?!…

Part of the Apex Pack series each can be read as a standalone with a shifter and the women who causes him a headache in the best way. Chase sexy as all get out tracker for the Dark Moon pack out looking for a missing child on another’s territory, we know you don’t go another packs territory without permission especially when they are your enemy, but the weather isn’t playing nice in fact a blizzard it headed his way ending with him in an accident with the daughter of their rival pack the Silver Dawn Clan. Ruby is a sweetheart once you get past her hard exterior when she ends up in an accident with none other then the tracker from the Dark Moon pack she is upset but leaving him out in the storm won’t happen on her watch so she takes them to a cave she played in as a kid and the attraction is there so is the dislike she has been taught to feel for him all her life yet the attraction can’t be ignored. They are stuck in a cave together knowing they are fated mates but with the history between them making it hard for the two of them to really connect, looking for Broody hoping he shifted to hide in one of the caves during the blizzard or did something/someone take him, something has been killing livestock on both their lands can they figure it out before someone else dies, can they accept they are fated to be together despite their history to hate one another, can they trust each other enough to let go of the hate they have been taught, and can they find their HEA while stopping the killings?

Chase is living like a time bomb. He was stupid not to check his weather app. Now here he is in enemy territory stuck. His job with the pack is to track. When the mother of a runaway comes to him for help he does what he does best,--track. Only snow doesn't help and then he has a tad of an accident but meets a female, in fact the one that almost wipes him out. Ruby is the precious daughter of the alpha and is terrified she might have killed the idiot who was riding a bike. They are from two different packs and the memories of his former alpha are not good. They spar like well cats and dogs even though they are both wolves. From different packs. Stuck in a cave! Snowed in! They can't seem to keep their hands off each other. But at the front of their minds is that they are rival packs. Can they keep their hands off each other to figure things out? I'm going with a NO!
A fascinating story like romeo and juliet but more vicious.

I don't mind insta-lust, but this heavy insta-love was too much. There is no push or pull. We are supposed to believe that you would kill your family and friends alike for someone you met 48 hours ago and its not even with a second thought? Also, you suddenly go from "I hate you" to "take my virginity" without so much as a conversation or kiss between point A and point B?
Cons
- The world building was poor.
-- Random bits of their mythology are added in without explanation and feel out of place. Also there are visions vs dreams that aren't explained. Just a jumble.
- Supposed to believe the FMC was not only a virgin but never heard the term orgasm before, however later used the internet to perfect oral sex?
- The MMC shows submission several times to his Alpha. I prefer a bit more growl/defiance in my MMC. There were so many mentions about bigger and stronger wolves.

- Kinda HEA
- Lots of spice (though having sex as a war starts and you are trying to escape seemed odd)
- I liked some of the secondary female characters

Chase is the tracker for the Dark Moon clan and is looking for a missing child on the Silver Dawn clans territory. Dark Moon and Silver Dawn are enemies. The weather is bad with a blizzard coming on and Chase ends up in an accident with the daughter of Silver Dawns Alpha. Her name is Ruby. There is animosity between the two but also attraction. They need to get out of the weather before they freeze so Ruby takes them to a cave she played in as a child. During that time they realize they are meant to be together which sets up the main storyline. Neither clan trusts each other and when children of each pack are found dead in a most gruesome way each blames the other. As the true threat is revealed will they be able to come together to defeat it or will years of anger and distrust destroy them both. Loved this story and can't wait to continue the story in the next Apex Pack installment.

When he's hit by another vehicle he finds it driven by Ruby from the Silver Dawn pack and they fight until he collapses. Ruby is her Alpha's sister and was returning to her pack but after hitting Chase she feels drawn to save him and takes him to a cave she used as a child.
Spending time sheltering together they realise they're fated mates but how can they be when they are from rival packs? But with more pups going missing and being killed they have to get their packs to put rivalry aside and work together.
This is a great start to a wolf shifter series; full of action, drama, murder, betrayal, twists, love and romance. If you enjoy shifter stories you won't be able to put this one down.

Enemies to Lovers Steamy Read
When they first met, to say it was explosive was an understatement. Fighting each other until he collapsed and both of them in a snow storm it wasn’t ideal!
Ruby saved his life by dragging him to a cave she used as a child and once Chase was known as his packs tracker and had been looking for a missing pup when they collided, now in a cave with Ruby both couldn’t resist each other and mated.

When they first met, to say it was explosive was an understatement. Fighting each other until he collapsed and both of them in a snow storm it wasn’t ideal!
Ruby saved his life by dragging him to a cave she used as a child and once Chase was known as his packs tracker and had been looking for a missing pup when they collided, now in a cave with Ruby both couldn’t resist each other and mated.

The characters are terrific, with determination, great personalities, and backstories. The Silver Dawn and Dark Moon packs are having pups and livestock killed and both think the other is responsible.

This is a good start to the series. This is an excellent book. You won't close the cover until you have finished reading it in it's entirety. I couldn't put this down, it kept me turning the pages. This is a book that you need a fan for yourself and a mug of hot chocolate.
This is a telling of a kind of Romeo and Juliet story but with shifters.
There's definitely conflict, jealousy, possessiveness, horror, and lots and lots of hot steamy romance.
The characters are holed up waiting for the weather to break, after spending time together and blaming the other one for the past from their own sides.
Together, they find love, and there's some really hot 🔥 🔥🔥
romance between the two, and when it comes time to prove one of their innocence regarding a truly horrific discovery, they end up with the two sides coming to an agreement with the other so that as a whole can defend against an evil that threatens their very existence.

Ruby and Chase meet when she hits him accidentally with her car. They are from rival packs and end up fighting. However, Chase is weak from the accident so Ruby wins. Yet she can't bring herself to leave him to die and drags him t a cave she used to lay in as a kid. Its not long before things heat up between them. They know that they are mates but have no idea what to do about it. Soon a threat to both packs has a truce called and allows for their mating to be accepted. Will they find the threat? Can they be at peace with each pack?
This is a great story that once I started it I couldn't put it down. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.

Strange things have been happening in town and after a young boy goes missing, the pack tracker, Chase, goes out hunting to find him. In enemy territory. In a turn of crazy events, Chase finds himself stuck in a cave overnight with none other than Ruby, the ‘princess’ of the rival pack.
Although they both know it’s dangerous they just can’t help themselves and find themselves getting steamy during their time together. Their mating brings about more drama between tbe packs but can they put their differences aside for the sake of their people?
While the idea behind the plot had potential I felt that the story was rushed and elements were not explored in depth enough. The time jumps were just too quick for my liking and I would’ve liked for the story to have slowed down a bit.

Chase and Ruby are destined to be together, but are torn between their loyalty to their pack and their ultimate love. Their chemistry was hot and there is plenty of action, steamy passion and a gripping storyline. With so much tragedy in fighting a homicidal creature, I didn't know if they would ever make it.
I was captivated from the first chapter and couldn't put it down! This is my first book by these authors, but one to look forward to the next book. Can't wait for Jackson (Jax) and Olivia's (Cricket) story.

Ruby and Chase first crash into each other's lives, when their vehicles colide. Ruby blames Chase, but they have to escape from the cold and cuddle up for warmth in a cave. Get ready for the scorching heat of this pair, the pages just burn up. I enjoyed Ruby and Chase's tale, which each of them from packs that are enermies it's bound to be explosive. Can they get past their packs hatred of one another? I liked the sizzle, the angst, danger and interest story that was weaved around this pair. I need to know about the next couple.

This was a good story, though I have to be honest and say that I really didn't care for Ruby. Her character was that of a spoiled, immature, naive princess. Okay, so knew enough about mating to know there were seggsy times involved, but that's about as far as it went. Didn't realize they were actually claiming each other at the time.
Chase, while better than Ruby, had his moments of being ... a wussy.
Overall, I did like the plot, the worldbuilding was spot on, just didn't fully appreciate the characters' traits.

I think this story is basically three parts: before Chase and Ruby publicly claim each other, the packs fighting, and after the evil is partially revealed. At the beginning, Ruby was bratty and mean while Chase liked poking her temper. They fall for each other while saving each other. I like Ruby’s mom doing everything she does to get through to Cole. Jax is yucky in this story, but it looks like that might change eventually. Cole has a lot of rethinking his pack and values to do. I am excited for the next story.

It’s a forbidden romance she’s princess of the Sliver Dawn pack he’s part of the Dark Moon pack. They shouldn’t be together, they can’t their enemies, plus she’s promised to someone else. They get a HEA, it’s a good romance book that will leave you reading the whole book in sitting. You won’t be able to let the book go. It’s a wonderful writing book. I would recommend it to someone looking for forbidden romance, enemies to lovers, alpha male, you touch her you’ll die, along with mates. Love this book. It was such a gripping story that had me turning the Page to see what else was going to happen.

This is such an interesting and intriguing paranormal read. It is a bit of enemies to much more story about a Chase, of the Dark Moon clan, and Ruby, of the Silver Dawns clan. Theirs clans are enemies so there is an instant dislike. He is a motorcycle riding tracker for the clan and is looking for a missing child. He ends up in a storm and on the territory of the enemy. He and Ruby, the enemies daughter, end up wrecking. This starts their intriguing journey. I enjoyed this Apex Pack series read.

This is a hot and steamy story about two people in love and trying to find the way to be together, even through it feels that there are so many obstacles in their way.
This is a good story which quickly gets you absorbed.

Starts out very Romeo and Juliet with two opposing packs and generational conflict but then we add in a monster and tension, action, mysticism. And a larger story arc unfolds. Most of sex is very good but mildly described except for the shower scene at the end, really good! There's a stunning twist and an uncomfortable compromise and a very good hea plus set up for the next story.

Find Me Tracker captivated me from the first chapter and I devoured the book considering that it is a story of shifters, specifically, wolves which are my favorite species, this story fascinated me
I loved Chase and Ruby from the start. Intense, steamy and a mythology that fascinates me
