Lisa Tyrell climbed the corporate ladder out of poverty and into the corner office as an executive secretary. The only problem is her boss, Ken Yamamoto--a domineering perfectionist that just can't seem to live without her. Is it really because she's so good at her job? Or do they share a deep, secret longing, the kind of bond only the most sensitive Dominant can create with his submissive...

This story features sensual domination, office style, and the sometimes terrifying journey of self discovery it takes to be both a strong woman and a dedicated submissive--for the right man, Lisa realizes she wants to give all of herself over to his will... But does Mr. Yamamoto know it's only him that can bend her to it?

LATEST TITLE: James Bond for Breakfast

A mash-up, a remix, a tribute inspired by Ian Fleming's iconic character, James Bond, and the world of Jane Austen's Persuasion... Jorja Tabu gives you a modern AMBW romance like no other.

Ana Ellis is an FBI agent, but she's not the flashy kind--no fieldwork, no thank you. She leaves that to her loyal team of misfits, especially her good friend Maanya. As far as Ana is concerned, her brave days are behind her... Until a ghost from her past shows up at the Bureau: MI6's Winston Park-Wu, her high-school boyfriend, the once and always owner of her heart. Ana finds herself swept up in a bit of international intrigue, forced to make big discoveries about who she was, and big decisions about who she is willing to become. Betrayals and beloveds clash in the second installment of Jorja Tabu's Brits and Brats series.

Note for purists: This book is not a re-telling! It uses characters and circumstances from classics to tell a new tale. This book contains steamy HEAs like all JT books and assumes the reader is an adult; some grown folks themes do appear in this story, including PTSD and recovering from family trauma.

Very interesting, but short! Way too short. This book leaves you hanging its only 151 Nook pages. This is my first kinky boss, curious assistant read, and it was very 'freaky' (sexual). I was introduced to some new things, made me feel like I need to step my game up (smile).
I gave the book 3 stars because the ending left me with too many questions about the two characters. I don't like to be left wondering, it's a peeve.

A great draft of what could be an amazing book. It leaves the reader knowing that the book is short. There are missing components and the ending reads like a rushed summation like there was indecision or fear on ending the story. In fact, there really does not end like a book. Rather it ends like a television series with an unstated "Stay tuned for the next episode of..."

I like this short but streamy book

I like how she and him discover themselves in each other. She was lost because of her family and job and him because of his need to control even love. I hope the second book is good.
