Once upon a time I did not believe in the life after death and the possibility of "mediumship" was totally off the charts for me. I believed that once you die, you're done and there is nothing/no one to communicate with on the other side, let alone the capability.
Several years ago, my heart and mind opened up to the possibilities of life after death, reincarnation, and the ability to communicate with the Other Side.
In "The Afterlife Interviews", Jeffrey A. Marks shares conversations he had with those who have already gone to the Other Side. Volume I answers questions I didn't know I had and affirms conclusions I came to on my own while listening to relatives from the Other Side.
The spirits Marks communicates with make it clear that if only they knew here on earth what they now know how much easier and more peaceful life would be. A few of those things include:
*Choose to be lighthearted right now in this time and space.
*Choose to communicate your needs to others clearly and listen when others state their needs.
*Choose now to be loving and kind.
*Choose to not judge yourself or others for what you/they choose or where you/they are in the journey.
*Choose to be at peace where you are.
*Choose to totally enjoy life now, knowing that if by chance you die in the process... it's only a flesh and bones body that you shed.
*Choose to drop the grudges...they only destroy your happiness.
*Choose to totally enjoy life now, for when your body dies and your spirit moves on, you'll wonder why you spent so much time being a grumpy prude... When your body dies, YOU get to live in an unimaginably vibrant way, so why wait until then?!
When you choose responses for the higher good of yourself and those around you NOW, you won't have to wait until you cross over to learn that you have wasted precious time and energy on things that, in the scope of eternity, don't really matter.
I highly recommend reading "The Afterlife Interviews" as soon as possible. It will change your perspective on your own life here in this time and space on Earth and help eliminate the fears that typically permeate the thought of death.

Although this book opposes my beliefs it was well written and I would recommend it to anybody looking for a glimpse about what the afterlife is like. Great book to read if you have fears of what happens when your time comes.

In The Afterlife Interviews, spiritual medium and researcher Jeffrey Marks sets out on a comprehensive project to provide the answer to what really happens to us after we die. Marks works with over a dozen individuals across different religious beliefs and backgrounds to try and gain some consensus on the subject. The end result is a fascinating, though at times oddly clinical, window into what awaits beyond death.
Though I believe in reincarnation and spiritualism, I always find myself dismissing most alleged mediums I come across. Too many of them adopt a faux shroud of credibility by claiming to channel Jesus, or the Virgin Mary, or some other mythical entity or historic persona from various religions. What I found so refreshing about Marks and his work in this book is that he has a certain humility so often lacking among those that claim to be mediums. He doesn’t pretend to have all the answers.
Instead, he goes out and asks questions. In this case, a total of 52 different questions ranging from the moments immediately after death to the nature of evil. The end result is an engaging journey through the afterlife. There are times when Marks seems too detached from the subject matter, like a scientist examining something under a microscope. But overall the book is a thoughtful, and thought-provoking, look at the afterlife for those with an open mind.
