Legal Briefs offers two enjoyable spanking romance short stories and a novella. The two short stories, Class Reunion and A Family Affair, center around a husband and wife who love each other very much but run into problems when the wife tries too hard to make a good impression on other people. Her parents are obsessed with money and appearances, and their behavior has rubbed off on her a little too much. Her husband decides enough is enough and makes her realize appearances aren't everything - after he puts her over his knee, of course. I enjoyed these two short stories and wouldn't mind seeing more from this couple!

The novella in this collection, The Bodyguard, was my favorite out of the three stories in this book. A bodyguard is assigned to protect a prosecutor when threats are made against her, but the instant sexual attraction between them complicates things. Zach takes his job to protect Kendra very seriously, and he expects her to follow his rules during the time he's assigned as her bodyguard. Kendra thinks she can take care of herself though, and her stubbornness and jealousy earn her more spankings than she'd like.

If you like spanking romance stories, I highly recommend checking out Legal Briefs. The stories are well-written and with interesting plots, and the author has a great sense of humor.

Sometimes all it takes is a firm hand to put things right. In Legal Briefs Over the Knee Justice, Celeste Jones does just that in the two short novellas in this collection.

In Class Reunion, Eileen’s snooty background rears its elitist head when she tries to make over her husband to impress her high school chums. He’s not having any of it and puts his foot – er, his hand – down to put a stop to it.

In The Body Guard, detective Zach is forced to employ a little corporeal correction to protect assistant DA Kendra and keep her safe and sound.

Some spanking fiction strays into BDSM, but this one doesn’t. There’s nothing heavier than a little spanking in the two stories, so Legal Briefs would be a good choice for readers of spanking romance. Author Celeste Jones writes well. What I particularly enjoyed about the two novellas were the spanking scenarios she devised. Legal Briefs offers a light, quick, fun read.
