Billie first met the love of her life when she was working for the Alliance, but he transferred from her unit, and he was out of her life. Billie sounds like an interesting character, would have liked to read more of her exploits when she was still working as an Enforcer.

This is the first time I've ever thought much less said, but this VG short story bored me! This is the second time I've tried to read it and I gave up again. I bought it, so I'm gonna give it a go once more..... soon....maybe. 3 stars for writing.

I like the story so far due to the world building and the planets culture. This was a very fun light read with the heroine being sent as a bait to entice the clan chief into allowing twenty Oefric from the colony to enter service as an enforcer. What she did not know was the man he was attracted with and was her captain on her previous assignment was the clan chief and she was basically sent on the mission so that she could ease his sexual urge to rut.
Their story was refreshing although it lacks action and we didn't get to read about Billie's adventure as an Enforcer. There were instances in the story that says she was very capable and strong and that is what I would have like to read Billie in action and doing some badass things. Still, I like the couple a lot and were happy they were reunited.

I don't tend to like reunion romance but this one worked for me because of culture elements. A nice read for a lazy afternoon.
