If only the scanlators could make it obvious what volume I am on. So confused right now. I thought I was on this volume but apparently I'm already on the next. Ugh.

I played a game like this in High school, during a regional meeting. We would all agree to vote one way, then most of us agreed to vote another way-to benefit us more, and screw on member. It was a trust excerise, and also learning to make the hard descisons.

This is where I left off in Japan. I'm excited to get to the next volume and find out what happens since my favorite character just died. That's not a spoiler. Someone is always going to die in these books.

*3.5*

It's starting to get more interesting now. There were a few moments that surprised me and didn't see coming. Unfortunately, some of the characters are still making very stupid decisions that are practically "horror movie 101" mistakes.

I really like this series! This One was a little bit weaker than the other ones but the ending was pretty shocking because one of mi favorite characters died. Can‘t wait to read the other Manga!

In a sense all characters so far seem to all work very stereotypically. It gets even worse when finnish translator just had to pick a meme phrase that becase of it's meme usage and usage as running joke when said in monotonicly basically means opposite of "how terrible". :') Probably not very correct that in scenes that are meant for most shock value are rendered due translation into comedy.

Same actually goes for the actual story. We'll get revealed more about the situation and characters but still like nothing that they experience feels significantly important. One thing also that bothers me is that usage of animal mask concept known from Doubt for example... this new Judge seems to irrelevant to it's events. It also starts to feel like Judge excists this poor when compared to that only in hopes to cash in some money for author.

Can also say same about the artwork. At this point I started to get annoyed to some serious drawing bloopers on some high heels and placing eyes in forehed. When it comes to drawing, yea, could actually do better placement on eyes.

"To avert your eyes from the truth is the most unsightly thing one can do."

9 strangers, each with a deadly sin in their past, are kidnapped and locked in an old courthouse to face their judgement. Every 12 hours they must vote for one of them to be judged.

This third volume sees the two factions becoming more fraught and tense in the lead up to the second vote. With 7 remaining they have split into 4 and 3. Suspecting a traitor amongst their number, Hiro must decide whether to go with the plan of everyone voting for one member of the other faction, thus ensuring their safety. He still strives to save everyone but his efforts seem in vain.

Who will they vote for? Will they escape judgement?

This is seriously good and completely gripping. I can't wait to read the next instalment. 5 stars.

Rating: 2.8 stars (overall)

Summary (for the whole manga):
Nine people wake up and find themselves in a building with animal masks on. Each of them have no idea how they ended up there. A stuffed doll then speaks and informs them that they are all in a game called "Judge" and that all of them are here because they committed a sin: pride, greed, envy, wrath, lust, gluttony, and sloth. At each round of the game, they will have to vote for a person who they think should be punished. At the end of each round, the person with the highest votes will die. At the end, only four people are allowed to leave the game.

Review:
I gave this manga a poor rating because of the plot in the last chapter.

The series continues to be some dumb, fast-paced horror. Easy to read, as long as you're okay with reading some gory bits. They always end on cliff-hangers, so it stays interesting enough for me to want to continue. I don't care enough to buy them but will pick up the next copies if my library has them.

Samalla taustatarina muuttuu mielenkiintoisemmaksi. Kuka selviää ja kuka ei? 😬

Suosittelen näitä kirjoja kaikille, joita jännitys, manga ja juonittelu kiinnostavat 😊

A member of Hiro's alliance dies.

This series is pretty slow. We're three volumes in, three people have died, and I should be more invested in caring by now. I'm still going to give the next volume a try but I feel like this has already been dragged out several more pages than it needs to be.

3.5 stars.

The MC is really stupid. Who leaves the voted man alone? However the mystery is getting thick and there's betrayal and suspense everywhere.

The cliffhangers for this manga are insane.

The story is starting to get more interesting. I am definitely more interested in the plot than the characters, as most of the characters are unlikable. Regardless, still keeps me entertained!

The action continues in this volume with lots of twists and surprises. I'm a little surprised that none of the characters are familiar with the seven deadly sins, but perhaps it isn't common knowledge in Japan? Otherwise, I am a bit disappointed at how flat the characters are, particularly the females. I don't remember any of the characters' names and I don't expect any of them to survive, but the only characters I do know well enough to recognize are the males and the buxom female, and that makes me sad.
Also, that damn nonsensical clock is back. On one page, it clearly has 9 as the last digit on the display (which would make it 9 seconds?) but on the later pages, it says 00008:34, so apparently that was 9 minutes . . . ?? The art is still boring, although there's a bit more gore in this volume. Overall, I'm enjoying the blood, suspense, and action, but not much else.

I am getting through these quickly intrigued by what's going on but not particularly impressed by the art work or the plot so far. Not enough had been revealed for my liking so 3 volumes in we still have no real idea why this is all happening apart from the original announcement that they are being "judged for their sins". I also don't like the characters all that much so I don't care that they are being hunted down and killed.

More needs to be revealed about the each of the characters or I may soon lose interest in this series.
