Fantastic short read! I've skimmed his book Rest: Why You Get More Done When You Work Less but now I'm dying to read it to learn more! His work is not a foreign concept to me, as soon as you care about creativity or productivity you have to learn to accept the importance of rest.

But implementing it and creating a life around it, is damn hard! Coz you have to challenge all the internalized beliefs we got from our society. :/

I'm currently not creating or producing coz I'm burnt out, but I think I'm gonna try and use the hypnopompic state when you first wake up to gain insights on some of the life problems I have right now. I'm off to prime the pump in my journal before going to bed! ;)

Work hard then stop.

This very brief summary of the author's learnings and personal morning routine comes across lazily written or some sort of experiment to see if people would buy.
Being so short I expected it to be edited, but unfortunately I found the typos and entire repeated sections distracting.
Maybe there's a better summary out there but I'd recommend either reading the full book (which I thouroghly enjoyed) or some other summary which is likely better edited.

Cleat and concise

The author gives us a description of how he starts his own day, which gives the rest of us a model for how we might start ours. The general idea, is that putting in a good amount of work early, allows us to rest later.
