I found myself really liking these stories, having all of them together made things even better because you could follow the progression of the situations and how they were related to each other so much easier. After averaging the stories I came up with 4.75 stars though I went ahead and rounded up. The characters are all really great and resonate as being very real with a good personality. The situations in each book are fairly unique but have a bearing on the other stories and are referenced in each.
"Bound by Blood" is set in Florida and gets 5 stars. Vampires and Werewolves are sworn enemies and have always been. But when a new threat arises that comes for both of them they must band together to survive. Morgan LaBeaux is a full-blood vampire princess, meaning she is a born vampire not made. Jace Vaughn is the Alpha in the area and runs a tight ship. In order to seal their pact, Morgan agrees to mate with Jace and stand together to fight those who are trying to destroy them.
"Bound by Darkness" in the Northwest and gets 5 stars. Cade Thaine is a werewolf and the best vampire killer in the Northwest. When he is hired by a witch to kill a pureblood he is more than happy to oblige. His hatred of vampires is well known and he does not really care who they are if they are bloodsuckers. Allison Gray isn't what Cade expected when he went looking for her. Allison is innocent and beautiful causing a desire Cade did not foresee, she also has not even become a full vampire yet as her 25th birthday is still a bit away. What Cade did not know is that he was hired to make sure she never makes the transition.
"Bound in Sin" is set in Alaska and gets 5 stars. Paige Sloan was a human in love with Drake Wyler a werewolf. When she was attacked and changed into a vampire that part of her life ended because of the animosity between the species. When Drake is targeted for death by the vampires Paige comes out of the shadows to help him. Drake had never known what happened to her and now he is not sure what to think as she comes to him for a reason she does not define.
" Bound by the Night" is set in Oregon and Los Angeles and I gave it 4 stars. For the past 15 years Iona, the vampire Queen has been dead to the world, trapped within her own mind as the world marches on. She was cursed by a werewolf who wanted to possess her and the power she could give and denied him. Jamie O'Connell is the werewolf who comes to break the spell and claim the power for himself and to give her some of his power. They have a common enemy, a common cause and once she gets over the shock things take off quickly.
As stated before all the stories are good on their own but the fact you find them in one place makes them even better. The romances are all bumpy but that is to be expected when warring factions come together. There are some issues with word placement and usage but they are minor in comparison to how many books are here. Well worth the time.

There are four great stories in this book all involving vampires and werewolves becoming mates. My favorite was Bound by the Night. In each story, the main werewolf characters were the males and vampires were the females. In their own ways, they grew to love their mates although it was not instantaneous. There's lots of action and steamy romance in each story and a happy ending for every couple.

4 = Ancient one, charming MMC, cold FMC
2 & 4 - I could take or leave.
1 & 3 are my ride or die short stories.
Overall, they're giving Bride (Ali Hazelwood) vibes.
These are much shorter stories and are really fast paced.

I like this series because it is so difficult to find romance between a female vampire and a male werewolf I would love to more of this kind of couple. My favourite book in this series is the third "born in sin."

All 4 were good quick reads. The stories were interesting and the characters meshed well. Books 2 and 3 were my favorites of all of them.

This anthology is good solid addition to anyone who enjoys paranormal romance collections especially if you like the connections that are not by lore suppose to occur like vampires and werewolves and how love seems to always finds a way....

If you are looking for some hot & heavy wolf/vamp stories that will have you obsessing for more, than these are the ones you should buy & read!!! I bought the set of 4 ebooks in the Forever Bound bundle and then Bound in Death on its own. I don’t know what took me so long to decide to read these, but I sure am kicking myself now!!! These are fantastic short story/novellas about Alpha Werewolves and their Vampire mates. After the first story – Bound in Blood – I wished that it was longer as I thought that there was a lot more story there to be told. It was terrific regardless, don’t get me wrong, I just wanted MORE!! It was so good I didn’t want it to end!!! I kept reading and then really got into the shorter style for the next 3 books! No back-and-forth and “filler” stuff, just great, straight to the point stories with hot sex & the fight for your mate to get your HEA (which could also be Hotness Ever After.) Then I got to the latest story - Bound in Death - (I don’t want to call it the last as I hope that Cynthia will write more in this series), and it is longer, but I so fell in love with the shorter stories, that I kept reading & reading. I ended up finishing it all in one go! I was so addicted!! I really need to start hanging out in the right places so I can meet my Alpha Mate! Anyone have any tips on where to find some? LOL Maybe I will have to be like Paige and go to Alaska – I have heard that there is a lot of single men – maybe one is my Alpha Wolf. :) Either way, make sure to read these books as Cynthia is a great story teller.

This is the first 4 books in the bound by blood series. They are short stories so I was skeptical at first to buy them because I normally don't like the short stories. I have to say the books were all good and I just kept reading one right after the other. I really like Cynthia Eden's work and this was a good deal by buying the books in this bundle. I bought and read the 5th one right after I finished this! These stories have twist, action, love stories filled with forbidden love and opposites that attract! Great Series!

Pretty good and interesting series, very fast paced. Nice mixture of werewolves, vampires and one or two witches. I was a bit disappointed though because I thought that all the books would be connected but they weren't. Each book was completely separate from its predecessor with just a quick mentioned of the mated couple from book one and they don't even mention names. Being a series I figured each book would have a familiar character from a previous book but it wasn't so. Still, all four books were good and the sex was hot so that sort of made up for my disappointment.

The books seem good at first sight, but I made the mistake to read the four stories in one-shot. Bad idea, the four stories seem exactly the same to me.
Why not a male vampire and a female werewolf for change ?

I wasn't aware this was erotica when I purchased it. The stories are interesting, if not a bit redundant. I'm probably not the best judge of this type of book.

Overall it was a good series. I do wish it went into a little more detail, by the time I really got into it tit was over, but again its a good read.
