Albert, the rabbit, does not like cabbages. His mother thought, "how could he not like them? All rabbits love cabbage!" Albert was curious about all sorts of things though...why was the sky blue?, why are carrots orange? Albert wondered how the moon could be made of sand and rocks when it changed shapes all the time. Then one day he is magically transported to the moon and finds out some very interesting things about the moon's shape-changing...and just how delicious cabbage can be.

Used for "What's Green and Leafy?-Not trees...Vegetables!" storytime-April, 2010.

steve says it was a cute fantasy and the girls enjoyed it. Albert the rabbit doesn't like cabbage until his fantasy trip to the moon. Illustrations were well suited for the fantasy nature of the story.
