this book was pretty good i liked how the emotions the character had where emotions that i could relate to and there was the girls bullying her which i know happens a lot in real life. there were some parts that i thought were a little to much and i had a hard time reading them but once i got through it the book got better so it was a good book that i would recommend.

Yang saya baca versi trjemahannya. Berasa tumben aja jarak antara jilid 1 dan jilid selanjutnya diterbitkan dalam waktu yang cukup singkat. Rasanya saya baca jilid 1 nya baru sebulan yang lalu gitu kali ya?

Anyway, buku ini lanjutan cerita Angel, yang ayahnya adalah seorang setan. Di buku ini, Angel berusaha mengendalikan kekuatannya yang suka muncul tiba-tiba. Lou Cipher (alias Lucifer, yaitu si setan, ayahnya Angel) sudah menawarkan diri untuk mengajari Angel mengendalikan kekuatannya. Angel menolak, but she ended up creating troubles and disasters because of her power.

Masih dengan gaya bercerita yang sangat ala teenlit, membacanya berasa kayak nonton sitkom remaja. Adegannya komikal banget.
However, the thing that I don't really like about this book is the main character herself. Lama kelamaan, Angel malah annoying deh kelakuannya. She's not likeable. I just don't like her. Her obsession to Cole is just way too much.

Bacanya cepet banget, sekali duduk gitu deh. Karena memang ceritanya sangat ringan.

Currently, I'm reading a book called Bedeviled. It's the second book of the series, and it's an interesting story. It's basically about a girl, the daughter of the devil, that can't control her powers. Whenever her feelings are extreme, anything that she says happens in real life. For example, if she's really hyper and she says, "Cue the fireworks", just because she has imaginary fireworks going on in her mind, there might be real fireworks going on in your backyard. The conflict in this book is that she messed up with her crush, and now, her crush thinks that she's a weird girl. After all the mess, she decides to train how to control her powers with her dad, the devil. I think she will solve the crush problem at the ending. So far, I am enjoying this book, and would like to read other series if I have the chance.

Angel has decided to keep her powers a secret, even from her mother. As her powers begin to escalate Angel loses friendships, creates (natural) disasters and is forced to ask her father Lou Cipher for help.

I enjoyed the first book. The idea was unique to anything else I have ever read but this second book left me irritated and sad that I lost time on it. Angel has greatly changed from the first book to the second. In the beginning she was determined to never use magic but now she's using it and using it for her own personal gain and to help people. I don't like the person that Angel has become in this book.

Novel genre fantasi ini bercerita tentang angel seorang siswi junior high school yang memiliki kemampuan tak terduga! Angel bisa memindahkan barang yang ada disekitarnya tanpa ia sadari, semua bergantung pada tingkat emosinya. Lou, ayahnya kandung angel berusaha untuk memberikannya latihan agar bisa mengontrol kemampuannya dan menghindari kekacauan yang lebih parah lagi. Pasalnya angel secara tak sengaja memindahkan teman-temannya yang usil ke hawai ditengah-tengah ombak yang besar dan di atas papan surfing, gila!
Novel fantasi ini cocok dibaca teenager ataupun booklovers yang suka genre fantasi.

Bedeviled #1 Daddy's Little Angel menceritakan kisah gadis remaja yg diusianya yg ke 13 tiba2 mendapat hadiah ulang tahun dari ayah yg tidak pernah dikenalnya yang ternyata adalah Lucifer, iblis dari neraka... sayang aku belum baca buku pertamanya hehehe.....
Tapi sepertinya bukan masalah kalau langsung baca buku keduanya...
ga bakal jadi ga ngerti jalan ceritanya kok... cuma kalo aku malah jadi penasaran.. itu Gabi tahu dari awal apa gimana ya kalo angel itu punya kekuatan yg tiba2 nongol dan selalu jadi masalah?
huuufh jadi pengen baca buku #1 ma lanjutannya buku #3 dan #4 :)

di buku #2 ini Angel tertimpa masalah (sepertinya di buku satu juga ya?) karena kekuatan yg dimiliki tapi tak bisa di kontrolnya..

semua masalah itu akhirnya membuat dia mau menerima bantuan dari ayahnya.. dia berlatih pada ayahnya, untuk mengontrol kekuatannya..

Tapi dasar angel.. tetep aja dia grabak grubuk.. dan akhirnya tetep bermasalah heheheh....

dari mulai soal Coal, cowok yg di taksirnya, Courtney musuh disekolah yg awalnya adalah temannya, DL pacar courtney, dan teman-teman gank courtney..
dari mulai kembang api, ukiran inisial di pohon, puding terbang, liburan ajaib ke hawaii, pesta sekolah aah segala macam deh...

kadang pengen lelepin angel ke sumur, kadang pengen bantuin dia ngelawan courtney.. cerita remaja yg cukup menghibur, bisa bikin ketawa, bikin rolling eyes :p

eh emang cerita begini tuh fantasi yah? apa karena ayahnya iblis yah? #pusingmagenre

mo ngasih *4 ga jadi ah, karena ada yg kurang aku suka pas lagi pesta sekolah :p

Novel ini adalah buku kedua dari tetralogy Bedeviled. Bahasanya khas remaja banget. Meski bercerita tentang sihir, sama sekali gak ada hal-hal menakutkan. Bedeviled #2 ini bercerita tentang problem Angel yang tidak bisa menguasai kemampuan sihir (kekuatan iblis) yang dimilikinya. Akibatnya ada banyak hal-hal konyol yang terjadi akibat ulahnya. Hal-hal konyol tersebut membuat pria gebetannya Cole mulai menjauh dan menjadi bahan lelucon genk cewek yang memusuhinya.

Awal-awalnya cerita ini sangat ngebosanin. Asli seperti mendengar anak ABG yang lagi curhat tentang kegalauannya. Tapi semakin ke tengah, kekonyolan-kekonyolan yang terjadi justru memancing geli dan rasa penasaran. Apakah Angel berhasil memikat kembali hati Cole yang sudah terlanjur menjauh darinya? dan mampukah Angel bisa menguasai kekuatan "ajaib" yang diwarisi oleh sang ayah yang berasal dari kelompok Iblis?? XD~

Noh, dengar kata iblis aja udah bikin geli. Lumayan menghiburlah. Tapi emang bukan termasuk novel favorit seleraku. So 3 bintang cukuplah :)

These books always has a good lesson about it. The lesson about this book is don't beat yourself up so much just over somebody you like, always be true to yourself and don't let other people opinions bother you that it will break down your confidence wall. This is what i love most of all from this book. The lessons are memorable and important.

The only thing about these books is that it is a really slow paste type of book, but on the other hand it leaves you on a cliff hanger sometimes. Which may or may not make you wanting to read more to see what's going to happen next.Since it does leaves you at a cliff hanger it's good because you are able to predict what's gonna happen in the next chapter.

The characters in this book are still the same people that were named in the first, but Angel's crush Cole. Will actually be taking part in this book because Angel is trying to get Cole to ask her to the dance, but at the same time (SPOILER ALERT) trying to keep her powers under control. To do so she must keep herself from expressing her feelings.

This book was my first Goodreads book win, so I was really excited to read this book. I enjoyed this book, but I think it is best suited for a younger audience. The book is short with quick chapters and older readers might get bored with the book.

However, the story was super cute and I could totally relate to the teenage angst that Angel was going through. In fact, some of the taunts Angel endures from fellow female classmates could have been taken from my middle school years (especially the ones about double-A).

This book reminded me of the Princess Diaries in a lot ways (the book and not the movie). Seemingly normal teenage girl just trying to survive middle school sudden finds he absent Dad back in her life with a huge secret. In Angel's case, that her Dad is the devil and she has inherited some of his powers. As she adjusts to her new life, chaos ensues with many embarrassing moments for Angel.

Highly recommend for elementary and middle school readers.

Angel's power still disobeys her. Everytime she wants something to work out, it ends up not working. But when she haves a arguement with Courtney or some other people, she always say things she don't mean to say an it actually happens. Angel never learns to not disobey her father. He always tells/reminds her not to use advance powers that he didnt teach her, but she usually end up doing it.
Angel don't really take having powers an advantage. She thinks she can handle everything with Cole when its actually making everything worst. I figured that even though her dad wants to make up everything to her, he could still be tough if shes not following directions.

After i read the first one i knew that i HAD to have the second one in my hands my by the next day or i would absolutley Explode. These books are absolutley Amazing and in some parts of the second one i had to close my eyes and take a deep breath because the experiences were so utterly embarrassing and horrifying that i couldnt help imagining myself in her place and beleive me all my class mates couldnt help noticing my red cheeks and TOTALLY RANDOM GASPS! This book is about the totally crazy life of Angel.

This book is not one of my favorite books. Although, it is entertaining for people who are in middle school it was too cliche for my tasting. The main character Angel was much too clingy and almost stalker status with Cole that it made me just sick that they ended up together. Lou was my favorite character because he was the most normal one but other than that the book was very strange and dull because of her obsessions and the incessant cliches. I recommend this to book to only a select few; to whoever is interesed in fantasy happy ending books albeit no one else.

This book was really really good. It's about this girl named Angel and she finds out that she has powers thanks to her dad who is the devil.At first she is furious that her dad is the devil, but after a while she is kind of happy that she discovered that she has powers. A little part of her is like OH MY GOD I could be half evil.Then she doesnt want to use her powers at all because she thinks that the evil side of her will eventually take over and she would be completly evil.

3 1/2 stars. In the second book in the series, Angel is still struggling with her powers. Her father, the Devil, is trying to teach her but she insists on trying to do things beyond her training. These things never go well. The powers are also causing trouble with her crush, Cole, who can't understand her confusing behavior.

This book is chick lit, magic fun for tweens. I will be recommending this series.

I loved that this book picked up wher the first one left off! I laughed at many of Angel's mishaps and the Mom in me wanted to give her a lecture a few times, too. I really like her as a character though. I love her friend Gaby, as well.

Definitely an enjoyable installment to the series...looking forward to the third book.

This Book was amsome there was alot of emmbarresment Angel went threw half of the time i needed to sit there and take a deep breath just to think of what happened. And her boyfriend Cole Daniels dumped her!!! for a more popular girl Jaydin will she earn Cole back i love how this story ended! i totally reccomend it!!

This is such a great book! I wouldn't put this book done when I was reading cause there was something big happening in every chapter. This book was ten times more better thhen the first one =) All the drama in this book with Cole, Angel Gabi, and Lou was awesome and I couldn't get enough of it.

Bagian pembukanya bikin ngakak setengah mati. Setelah itu konfliknya agak flat buat saya. Tapi masih enjoyable :)
