Excellent for beginning a journey of sobriety. The author goes into great depth on the affects of alcohol on all parts of the body. This book had great recommendations on skills to move your mind and time away from negative influences. I would recommend the book to anyone looking to build a great foundation to the start of sobriety.
Glad that I read both books in 2-in-1 sobriety series; each book has a different focus, but both make you realize (and I have now experienced this for 26 days) that “giving up” alcohol is really giving up feeling crappy mentally and physically…I felt positive effects within 24 hours, and by day 3…WOW!
Excellent! Full of useful information on the all around benefits of sobriety. Covers the physical, mental, spiritual, and more. The author even breaks down the science of it all in an easy-to-understand format. My favorite book yet on the subject.
