It is a tourist book, wonderfully designed and illustrated; however, one thing that really bugged me was the constant and repetitive spelling mistakes and phrase repetition. Some deities are, on different occasions, referred to using slightly different names, for example, Hercules as Heracles, Hephaistos as Hephaestus, Hades as Pluto, etc. This can be misleading for people unfamiliar with Greek mythology who might think the book refers to a different deity.

More consistency and better editing would have made this book much better!

Complicated plot. Unrelatable characters. Too much incest.

Read within 4 days on holiday. I enjoyed it a lot and pointed many funny passages out to my boyfriend. While the translation to English is a bit bumpy at times, it's still easy to understand.
There are short, simple descriptions of the main mythical figures and events with cross references to the others. Many pictures to break up the text. I think I got a decent overview and a chance to learn more about the creativity and insanity of Greek mythology.
I also really liked the poem at the end.

Excelente lecture.

A nice intro to Greek mythology.
Purchased whilst on holiday in Crete, the book can be fairly confusing due to the translation to English. Additionally, some of the characters spoken of have multiple names, and the author alternates between using their varied names throughout the book, which was an unnecessary confusion.

It’s a good way to learn about the mythos of ancient Greece, the layout of the book can be a bit confusing and not all the drawings / art is referenced to. I picked it up whilst in Greece and it’s clearly a book for tourists if they’re going to see sites or want to know more.

Libro básico para turistas sobre la mitología griega. Difícil de leer por qué cambia de color cada hoja, el acomodo de las imágenes hace que sea súper complicado leer fluidamente y encontré varios errores de traducción
No sé cómo mandaron imprimir algo tan mal hecho

This book was good and had lots of facts and stories about greek mythology. It was a bit confusing even though I already knew some of it before I read this book. But the book was entertaining and had lot of beautiful pictures and was a very nice read. I bought it when I was on holiday in Greece and I do not regret it.
