It is a story about witches, covens and mysteries and their beliefs, continuation of the first book Crescent Bound. It starts with Alyssa and Marc bonded as a married couple and their love is so deep they can feel each other's pain or confusion when separated. The author starts the story off with the couple and friends and their hobbies which was cars such as Mustangs and top of the line motorcycles, and their daily interaction with their friends who are all witches.
It was entertaining to read about their outings and other interests, such as the songs, clothing and other daily topics young people are interested in.
Then the story becomes more chilling as Alyssa is in trouble and goes missing. She was kidnapped and her husband Marc who is an ice element is very lost and furious that he did not protect her. Marc, her father, who is the Head Witch and others covens come together and planned a search and rescue Alyssa mission.
Meanwhile Alyssa, an unique and powerful witch not aware of all of her powers just yet was held captive by a cruel Dr. Jekyll and Hyde powerful dark witch, Nate, and he is cruel to her, punishing her, torturing her and keeps her disoriented, stealing her goodness, her light and turned her towards the darkness he craves.
He is abusive and used black magic and poisoned herbs to erase her memory of all good in her life, her Marc, family and friends. This intention was to manipulate her into using her gifts of healing and other talents for Nate and his henchmen to be healed when they are injured by their human hostages, who struggled against their captivity.
Alyssa in her disoriented drugged state realizes Nate was a madman and he wants authority of all witches covens by destroying one coven at a time and targets for another and Alyssa was the key to unlock his future reign of dominance of the witch’s realm, declaring her as his alleged life-mate and brainwashed her to obey only his commandments.
Her husband who is hot and sensual sensed her dilemma and felt all her emotional and physical pain she was enduring and desperately wants her back and safe in his embrace. They followed leads and when they challenged the dark witch and his henchmen in a battle of the elements they are defeated and retreated but come back for another match and this is when the intensity of the story becomes interesting and compelled this reader to stay up late to see justice given to the bad guys and Alyssa path back to recovery.
The dark magic toxins were coursing through her veins and it might be too late for the high twelve witches of the world to reverse the spell. Marc and all who loved Alyssa waited in anticipation to welcome the old Alyssa or a stranger back to their lives. The passion and the love they have for each other was sensual enough to make this reader to desired to have a glass of ice cold water next to her when reading the intimate connection between the two life mates.
It was refreshing details of hints of their commitment to each other and all they cared about, which is more alluring then right out description. The conclusion was breath-taking and the glimpse into the witches’ rituals was exhilarating to feel the goodness and light pour out of the pages.

Marc,Alyssa,David,Megan, Lisa and Dawson are back! This book starts right where Crescent Bound left off, Alyssa is recovering from her accident and Marc is being super overprotective. Alyssa is still having dreams but gets distracted from them by a life changing event for her and Marc. Alyssa's dad and the crew,except for Lisa, head to England. While there Alyssa is kidnapped by a dark coven and tortured, drugged, brainwashed, and beaten until she has no memory at all. Can Marc hold it together while they all search for her, will they find her before her body or mind gives out, if they do find her will she even remember who they are??? Twists, turns, and surprises are on every page. This is definately a must, must read. Can't wait for the next instalment.

Alyssa and Marc are crescent bound. This means they are meant to be together in all ways. Dark forces kidnap Alyssa doing unthinkable things to her so that she no longer even knows who she is. Marc and Alyssa's dad will stop at nothing to get her back.
This book is get go from the first page. I love how Karli Rush can just grab the reader and take you for a wild ride. She brilliantly writes characters that you will yell at , cry with and make them as if they really are your friends and not just characters in a book.
She has become one of my most favorite authors of all time!
I highly recommend this series!

This series must be read in order so if you have not read Crescent Bound go read it first before you read this one.
I enjoyed this sequel very much :) The continuing adventures of Allysa and all her friends were very entertaining. There is way more suspense in this book and it really moved the storyline along quickly.
This series is written in conversational style. That means the grammar and word usage may not always be correct as the characters may be using slang or just not be meant to know the right word. If you do not grade this as an english assignment and instead read it as a journal you will be well entertained.

This book takes off where the first one left off :) 18+ read. I enjoyed this about as much as I enjoyed the first one :) Mwahaha, too cute with her getting jealous over the blonde he was talking to at the begin. FYI, I will never be able to look at a motorcycle the same ever again 0.o Mwahaha, I so....need to try that out :D

December 8, 2012Karli Rush has done it again! Raven Bound is full of action, love, friendship, and so much more. It takes you on a wild emotional roller coaster. You can't help falling in love with the characters! I loved them in Crescent Bound and I love them even more in Raven Bound. I can't wait for more. Karli Rush please hurry with the third book, I need more!

Awesome series, and great second book. Couldn't put it down. Great characters, exciting plot, nothing boring going on for being a second book and nothing dragged on from the first. Love it.

This one was great. I was on pins and needles in this one. I am actually coming around to Alyssa's Lifemate. I still like David better. I might as well except that is not going to happen between the two. Good series so far.

Heart Pounding Thriller!
If you read the first book then you know about Alyssa and her family, friends (The Worthington Coven). You have also learned that she has found out that she is a Dreamseer. After defeating Naomi in a dream (or Coma after her accident) she was locked in she discovers some more of her natural talents and Marc has been by her side. He is her Crescent Bound mate.
This story starts out with a bang. Alyssa is "kidnapped" and leaves very little trail. Who took her? Why? Her family and other Covens come together to search. Marc is tested in every way, trying to keep his own element under control, while feeling almost everything Alyssa is feeling. He knows she is in pain and can't do anything.
While searching for her the Worthington Coven learns more about a dark order living within the shadows know as the Botherhood of the Raven.
The author, Karli Rush, keeps you spellbound and on the edge of your seat with this installment of the Crescent Bound Series. Not only is she able to convey the peril Alyssa faces, but also the pain and heartbreak Marc and her face. Every detail in this story is well thought out. My only issue I have is the ridiculous amount of money, yet they took commercial planes. These kids seem to buy each other cars without a blink (seems unrealistic). But if you can overlook that the story, spells and characters are all VERY BELIEVABLE!
