Of course, he did it again. He wrote a thrilling book, full of incredible adventures and mysteries, with an ending that makes you want so badly to know what happens next. I regret one thing - that Ulysses Moore books were written so late! If I were eleven, twelve I would be mad about those books, I would play with my friends that we are setting on an adventures to lands that exist only in imagination.. But I was almost eighteen when I discovered those amazing books and, unfortunately, my friends were too old to play with me.
It was really fun, reading this book. I participated in all the adventures. I even solved a riddle! Me! Of course, it was a bit tricky and it took some time but I did it! And I solved it right! Ha Hah! And even if sometimes I couldn't concentrate because there were too many noises around me, I think it was great. There were few new shocking facts revealed, like the one that probably Penelope isn't dead, that there was a kind of traitor in Ulysses's Moore friends... With each book the story becomes more complicated. It started of with trying to save the Land that Dies but know it had grown so much! I can't wait to know how it ends!

Ternyata dugaan saya tentang siapa si penguasa petir di buku sebelumnya salah, hehehe, *tutupmukapakaibantal*.
Kali ini juga judulnya sesuai dengan ceritanya. Labirin memang menjadi salah satu setting tempat di buku ini dan memang penuh dengan misteri.
Jadi, setelah menemukan Desa yang Sekarat, Anita, Jason dan Rick menemukan labirin. Ada perselihan pendapat diantara mereka bertiga. Ada yang nekat ingin memasuki labirin, ada yang tidak. Kalau kalian sudah familiar dengan watak para tokoh utama kita, kalian pasti bisa menebak siapa yang nekat ini 😁.
Di sini ada teka-teki yang mirip dengan teka-teki waktu Harry Potter dkk harus melewati rintangan dari Profesor Snape untuk mencapai batu bertuah. Menurut buku ini, teka-teki seperti itu dikenal dengan nama "Enigma Einstein". Wah saya baru tahu 🤩.
Yang paling berkesan bagi saya dari buku ini adalah bagaimana sebuah peristiwa kecil bisa mengubah watak seseorang secara dramatis seperti yang terjadi pada Mr. Voynich.
Terus kesel banget liat kelakuan para Flint itu. Jago banget ketiga sepupu itu bikin kacau rencana orang.
Endingnya seperti biasa, gantung dan membuat penasaran. Tapi syukurlah di buku ini tidak terlalu parah.
At last, entah berapa lama saya akan berjumpa kembali dengan Rick, Jason, Julia, Anita dan Tommy. Semoga terjemahan buku ke-10 nya bisa segera diterbitkan ya @erlangga.forkids 😁. 4 dari 5 bintang untuk buku ini. I really liked it.

E sono arrivata al non volume! Ne ho altrettanti da leggere se non erro, quindi ho poco da festeggiare. Comunque! Il viaggio di Anita, Rick e Jason nel Paese Che Muore continua. I tre ragazzi hanno trovato una Porta del Tempo piuttosto strana... Perché incompleta. E mentre Jason e Anita vi passano attraverso per scoprire qualcosa di più, Rick rimane con Ultima e i due Fratelli Forbice.
Nel frattempo, a Kilmore Cove, Julia è ancora malata, ma anche lei ha la sua dose di avventura. Tommaso è riuscito ad arrivare a Kilmore Cove e i tre cugini Flint sono ancora impegnati a spiare i Covenant. La comparsa di Black Vulcano, come anche quello che Jason e Anita troveranno dietro la Porta, darà una spinta ulteriore alla storia.
Finalmente, e dico davvero, dopo nove libri, scopriamo di più sui Costruttori di Porte... E qualcosa che davvero non mi aspettavo, e probabilmente, se lo leggerete, non vi aspetterete neanche voi.
I libri della serie di Ulysses Moore sono leggeri da leggere, ma c'è sempre quel particolare un po' più complesso. Qui troviamo un indovinello con venti indizi, che io stessa ho cercato di risolvere (senza successo) prima di continuare la storia e scoprire l'arcano.
Per quanto riguarda i personaggi, qui Zefiro è stato quello che ho preferito. E' particolare e simpatico.
Vediamo anche un cambiamento sia nei Fratelli Forbice sia in Voynich, che diventa un personaggio molto più profondo di quello che sembra. Da un certo punto di vista posso anche capirlo.
Ritorna un po' quel rapporto tra Julia e Jason un po' "tipico" dei gemelli, e di cui avevo sentito la mancanza nei volumi precedenti. E mentre Rick e Julia sono lontani, il rapporto tra Anita e Jason che avevamo visto sbocciare nel libro ottavo si evolve.
Dopo ciò che i ragazzi hanno scoperto nel Labirinto, molto simile a quello della mitologia Greca, Kilmore Cove e i suoi abitanti assumono una luce ancora più misteriosa.
Ritroviamo anche l'alter ego di Baccalario e un personaggio che avevamo lasciato indietro...
A discapito del numero di libri che ancora devo leggere di questa serie, mi sento più vicina allo scoprire la chiave di tutta la faccenda (e spero che questa non abbia un animale sopra).
Come sempre, in mezzo ai capitoli troviamo i ritratti di alcuni dei personaggi. Alcuni li immaginavo diversi, ma fa lo stesso.

Gostei das várias perspectivas, que temos vindo a apreciar desde o último livro, e o facto de sabermos mais acerca de Marious Voynic (ou lá como se escreve xD) e do seu passado.
Adorei como finalmente já temos mais informação tanto sobre os construtores de portas, as portas do tempo, mais um pouco sobre a histórias dos lugar imaginários e sobre o Penélope Moore!!
NO GERAL: O livro poderia ter sido mais longo! *-*

Este libro me ha parecido muy... de paso. Como si fuese un puente.

Nono libro: incredibile l'immaginazione dell'autore, riesce sempre a creare situazioni incredibili creando finali che "costringono" a continuare la lettura per sapere come continuerà la storia.

Libro alucinante. Me parece sorprendente cómo ha ido evolucionando la saga y los personajes, el universo de los Lugares Imaginarios y las puertas... ¡todo! Cómo ha ido creciendo el misterio y las ganas de seguir descubriendo más y más me hacen no poder esperar al siguiente libro....

Es una saguita muy simpática que me gustaba un montón con 12 años y se la empezó Merlin hace unos meses, así que agarré el primer libro porque andaba por ahí y jo, me iba acordando de las cosas y la verdad son muy fáciles de leer y me están sirviendo para retomar ritmo de lectura

An amazing adventure series I couldn't stop reading! I had to learn to read in Italian in order to finish the series in Italian, because only the first 4 books are translated to English.

'Mevrouw Bloom, ik stel u voor: Fred Sluimer, uit Kilmore Cove.'
Net als de personages in het boek, gaat dit verhaal zelf ferm de dieperik in. Wat loopt hier allemaal mis?!
- De vertaling is van hetzelfde kaliber is Boek 8 en krijgt dus een score van 'bwah'. Het ergste was wel dat er ergens 'poorten' stond waar het 'deuren' moest zijn. Nu begrijp ik zelf ook wel dat 'porte' in het Italiaans allebei kan zijn, maar het gaat al negen boeken lang over deuren.
- Wat is er aan de hand met al die Incendiari? Eerst willen ze alles zo rap en goed mogelijk afbranden, maar nu krijgen ze zo te merken ineens allemaal last van hun geweten. Met Voynich op kop. Totaal onrealistisch.

- Het is over het algemeen genomen ook zo'n donker verhaal...
Er zijn ook wel toffe dingen hoor. Meneer en mevrouw Bloom, bijvoorbeeld. En het Labyrint op zich is ook goed uitgedacht, maar het had allemaal wel wat positiever mogen zijn. Bovendien: echt een duidelijk beeld krijg ik er niet van, het blijft allemaal wel wat vaag.
Het verhaal is nog steeds wel spannend en wat intrigerend, maar bekoren zoals vroeger kan het toch niet meer. Het opvallendste is het hele boek gebeurt... in de allerlaatste zin. Ja, ik weet het, dat noemen we een cliffhanger, maar zo tussendoor mag er ook nog wel eens iets onverwachts gebeuren.
