A voracious reader since she was a toddler, and an ordained spiritualist, Tonya Cannariato has now presided over the marriage of her love of reading and her love of writing. She’s lived a nomadic life, following first her parents in their Foreign Service career through Africa, Europe, and Asia, and then her own nose criss-crossing America as she’s gotten old enough to make those choices for herself. She’s currently based in the Washington, DC area with her four loves: her husband and three Siberian Huskies. She suspects her Huskies of mystical alchemy with their joyous liberation of her muse and other magical beings for her inspiration. She loves to sleep, to watch her interesting dreams, some of which are now finding new life in written form.

This is an intriguing story that blends romance and science fiction seamlessly into a captivating story. One thing this author does well is not waste words - descriptions aren’t overdone, any word used counts toward moving the story along. I admit to being afraid the science was going to weigh the story down, I don’t think it did at all. An interesting story ‘m happy to have read.

Thank you Tonya, Five Stars.
The last couple of books I’ve reviewed didn’t had any love in them, this did, THANK YOU.
So so so much love.
This is a beautiful story about True Love and Soul Mates. This adventure through time and parallel dimensions, gives us science to make us think and an everlasting bond between a husband and wife that makes you feel good inside.
I really enjoyed this book, it was fresh and unlike everything else I’ve been reading lately.
I loved how the story made me think about parallel and alternate versions of myself.
I loved how even amongst the scientific research and theories that spiritualty and love was all up in there as well. I don’t want to say too much and give the story away (Go & Read it), but I loved going on this trip with Mark and Sarah it was brilliant.

Amazing blend of Science and understanding spirit.

The journey followed in this story not explains many scientific research Theory's. It also allows one to delve deeper into self and what that means. Each step leading to fuller enlightenment on how closely the two are entwined.

When all scientists are called back to the lab because their super secret experiments are failing, Mark kisses his brand new bride goodbye and lets her know he will see her soon. His dark matter experiment has gone on meltdown and he is sucked into a tour of different dimensions where he is still himself, but very different.

"I'm beginning to think every timeline has a moment of crisis - a turning point when that reality's participants are forced to choose whether their space-time implodes or evolves." (4%)

If you read it, you know how The Time Traveler’s Wife was, he would jump backwards or forwards in time, and most of them were to know a certain part or time of his wife’s. Well, Mark has had a meltdown of an experiment in dark matter or dimensional travel, but each consciousness he finds himself in, he has his wife Sarah to find. On these trips through the multiverse, he more deeply understands their connection as well as how everything else in the universe is connected. “I had gained valuable insights just by being in those forms. Previously, I would have felt that was impossible without extensive experimentation following the "work to disprove it” path of the scientific method.” (60%) Whether they are lizards, humanoids, amphibians, a planet to her moon, they have a push and pull and direct relationship to one another. It is lovely. Though a bit confusing with the talk of dark matter, electromagnetic pulses and some scientific jargon spaced a bit through, you don't really have to know what a Boson Higgs particle is, or string theory, though I imagine you will get a little more out of it than I did if you do. I don’t, so I figured it for science jargon and kept reading.

This book was so imaginative and interesting and quick it sucked me in, shook me around and finally spit me out. For a guy who travels through 8 or so dimensions, the book only comes to around 210 pages. It goes fast. There really isn't any unnecessary description so it is all important.

“I was living through a strange, extended Groundhog Day experience in these parallel dimensions, and I never knew when to expect a reset.” (35%)

“I still had no guidance for how to approach the problem, or support system, as I meandered my way through the multiverse like a pinball flung by a random application of force.” (57%)

So Mark and Sarah are being pulled through dimension after dimension, but they are always together. It is beautifully written, all in first person from Mark's POV and with his scientific recap, a little tiny bit like a Twilight Zone narration or something, with dialogue only when necessary.

After a couple of dimensions I was reading and wondering how Cannariato was going to conclude the story, really, how many ways could it end? And it does, at a nice spot. But there is no full explanation for how it happens. So I found it a little too pat and easy, though felt ok with it. I really enjoyed rolling through the multiverse with Mark and Sarah. It was a love story and expands your mind, in a good way. If you like science fiction and the idea of multiverse and some creative scenarios, you should look this one up! 4 stars.

This is one of those books that will have particular appeal to xenophiles. Like me. The shifting and subsequent confusion and adaptation reminded me of the parts of The Time Traveler's Wife I liked, though overall it was far less morose, perhaps because of the constant umbrella of scientific curiosity. Many writers tackle transferring a human mind into another humanoid with no problem, but not many writers could do that so well and also pull off doing so with a nameless amphibian, a lemur and an ameoba. It's a bit like one of those dreams where you are you-but-not-you.

This is a really interesting story, it is a romance and a sci fi book all in one . Mark has two loves particle physics and his beautiful bride Sarah . He has the best of both worlds . He has his love and his science . Until the moment his experiments goes incredibly wrong . He is transported through different universes . Will he ever get back home to the woman he loves .
This book had me intrigued when I sat down to read . The characters are well written . Mark is a character that goes through so much . He is transported to other universes where he finds that universes Sarah and falls in love over and over . He actually learns a lot when he goes through each universe . Which I think helps him become a better man. Sarah is a sweet character in every form she takes on.
This book is full of twists and turns . You start to think about things like does alternate universes exist and will a version of you and the ones you love be there . This book will satisfy your romantic side and your geeky science side too . You are taken on an adventure of epic proportions . I truly enjoyed this book and couldn't put it down . So if you like romance mixed with some sci fi check it out .

It's very rare when I find a book (in the romance genre) where I sit and ponder the questions I and answers I get from reading.
Dimensional has satisfied by romantic side as well as my geeky science nerd side in a book that has left me wonder, why don't I see more books like this?!?

As a scientist, when Mark shifts into alternate dimensions, he can't help but look at his new journey as a way to collect and learn new information. Whether he's in a humanoid version or an amoeba, there's always something new for Mark to experience and learn. But one thing that doesn't change is his love for his new wife and the regret that he wasn't there on there wedding night like he promised.

This book is awesome in how the author takes you on the journey with Mark and Sarah. In each new world you get to experience a new "kind" of Mark that you wouldn't think the geeky scientist you meet in the beginning could be.

A very unique and thought provoking storyline. Read through the first half of this tale thinking “ this is what would spring forth if I wrote a book while high” , if I had half the talent thus author has that is. Quite the intellectual read, this would definitely interest readers craving brain stimulation who also enjoy the science fiction genre. The experience is unforgettable so grab a copy! All my reviews are always voluntarily written.

This was a very original story where the characters are in different realities. Mark needs something to anchor him to his true self and that thing is Sarah. She is his constant, his true love.

This story will take you through different scientific theories, alternate realities, and completely different thought. But through it all, love prevails.

Wow! What an incredible book! Mark and Sarah have a heck of a time getting home and finally figure it out, hopefully. I feel like a student of theoretical physics after reading it. Very interesting descriptions that were easy to follow.

3.5 for me. It was a little odd and definitely different. I enjoyed the concept though and the love and journey that the couple had throughout the different shifts.

Great world building, very outside the box. Made my head hurt a little thinking about all the things this character is going thru...

This is such a hard book to judge! It was very outside of my box, but in a good, really interesting way. Tonya was able to take some of the things that I find interesting about spirituality and science and put them together in a brilliant written and pretty fast book. The prologue lets us know quickly that something is definitely going on and it’s going to be weird, to say the least! How weird though?! I have to say, Tonya’s imagination at the alternate realities is astounding, she does a great job of making us realize the difficulties of being subjected to such horrors. And the simple matter of the fact that Mark finds Sarah in each of these realities and in all of them he loves her. It’s heart breaking and interesting all at the same time.

I absolutely love how Mark deals with these situations. He at first faints but soon he begins to look at things scientifically. He’s a scientist so this completely makes sense. Although I also find myself thinking about life like a scientist but I’m telling you guys if I woke as I lizard I would not be able to hold my composure! But he is seriously a strong character mentally and intelligently tries to find ways out of each existence.

Sarah is also a fabulous character. You can tell she loves him greatly even in the different realities. It’s fabulous way to think of soul mates. He finds her no matter where he is. Then there’s a few minor characters like Richards and Logan that make a difference in their lives also. But Logan is definitely my favorite. He’s quirky, intelligent, energetic and fun. He’s the kind of person you want around no matter what existence you’re in!

The only downside to this book is that although I’m sure Tonya probably used layman terms, these scientific terms still went way over my head. Plus I felt at the end like things didn’t get resolved. I’m not sure how things happened. It’s a great book though so I will reread so I can see if I missed something.

I definitely recommend this to anyone with an open mind. It’s a pretty easy read although Tonya’s vocabulary is fantastic! I love reading books where I have to look up words, but even with only being 196 pages it took me a little bit longer because of the scientific jargon. She also manages to add in a touch of spirituality. And not the overwhelming kind. She intersperses great thoughts with some massive issues about what we really believe about life. It’s seriously intriguing to say the least! So, yes easy read but also thought provoking!

My favorite part of his realities:

I couldn’t even grumble. Here, again, I lacked vocal capacity. I would never again (if I had the chance) take the ability to express words for granted. I could blow bubbles like a champion, though. So I did. Someone had to be out there to understand I was mad. In all senses of the expression!

The bubbles muddied the waters and calmed down the crazy sensory input, and I could see there might be something tasty, dead ahead. This was weird. This body was more instinctual than I was used to. It darted forward, snapped its jaws, and swallowed, At least I didn’t have to taste whatever raw, live being my mouth had just encased. If I thought about it too much, I would likely throw it back up, regardless of what this beast thought. Sushi. It was sushi. I could live with that. — Page 112
