When Susan, Jimmy and Billy Bairstow are found alive in the rubble of their home, they are nicknamed 'the miracle children'. But they don't feel lucky - they've lost their parents and Aunt Dorothy is a poor substitute for mam and dad. She cannot cope with all three children and Billy is sent to an orphanage. Lots of drama and lots of prepositional phrases used as sentences.

In the first 50 pages I thought it had all happened and was going to be over and the rest of the book was going to just be babble but I was very wrong.
More problems, more things happened. Nice bit of romance for a few characters.
Fantastic book
