OHKUBO Atsushi

Atsushi Ōkubo ( 大久保篤), also romanized as Atsushi Ohkubo, is a Japanese manga author and fantasy artist known for his work on the manga series Soul Eater, which has been adapted into an anime. Okubo worked as an assistant under Rando Ayamine, on the manga series Get Backers. He also created artwork for various cards for the Lord of Vermillion game.

Atsushi Ōkubo was not a model student and was more attracted to drawing than to learning. At the age of 20, after finishing studies at a manga school where he met Rando Ayamine, the author of Get Backers, he became Rando Ayamine's assistant for two years. Finally, he won a competition at Square Enix's Gangan magazine with his first manga series B.Ichi and it was published for four volumes. After the end of his last manga, he created Soul Eater, still for Square Enix's Gangan magazine, which brought him worldwide success.

XD

Mi cariño por Arthur sigue intacto.

I don't know why this volume has a much lower rating than others because I quite enjoyed it. The training ends with Tamaki learning a new cat ability and Arthur and Shinra learning something called Hysterical Strength (which basically means they will be able to use their abilities better and stronger). The relationship between the scars and Adolla is also revealed. The people who experienced Adolla link got some kind of a scar which means they are in danger. This is why they decide to visit the captain of the 4th company to learn more. I like where the story is going so far. I admit the whole Adolla thing could have been handled better but it is getting easier to understand.

Gracias Arthur, gracias por existir ¨Knight King¨

SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER!!!:

A good start as we get Shinra and Joker fighting Captain Burns which is pretty fun and Joker again proves he is such a likable Anti hero. And just seeing Shinra fighting Burns after all that build up is pretty satisfying to see. The other fights are just ok but the next fight between Arthur and a butcher named Dragon seems to be fun.

I don’t like what’s going on with Burns. Feels like he’s doing a 180. I really hope he’s just faking it.

Lieutenant is acting weirder than normal and honestly, it’s a bit off putting.

Glad Vulcan and Viktor got some page time.

The fact that they want to feed a bug to Obi has me on the edge of my seat.

Shinra & Joker vs Burns was a cool fight and I was really invested.
The Company 8 infiltration could have been great if they gave each one an openent but they kind of did the big battle with one and rushed through the others.
Excited for Arthur.

Generally, I like rescue arc. Wasn’t crazy about this one though, the last pages, where Arthur shows up(my favorite character btw) I got hooked up and can’t wait to see his battle against Dragon.

I love seeing Joker more, and I’m happy Licht isn’t hiding his ally anymore. I could go on forever about Joker being Shinra’s “guardian” amazing I hope to see much more of Joker helping 8.

Cool fights but sadly Tamaki scenes ruin it for me every time even when they try to get creative with her

Atsushi Ohkubo's ability to come up with fire powers is amazing!

We get to meet new people with new types of abilities and they look like they are tough to beat. The end of the volume seem predictable purely based on the name of the enemy but the execution was good so i didn't mind it.

I loving the story so far and the turns it took, very fast-paced and the fight scenes (just like throughout the series) are top-notch.

Company 8 has rebelled against the new Evangelist regime after the arrest of Captain Obi. But they're used to being lawful good guys so they need help from some the chaotic good guys now that lawful evil guys have taken over.

But then the lawful evil guys set a very close deadline so Company 8 has no time to plan. Time for a mad dash prison break!

This series has 34 volumes.
