authentic glimpse of Montreal. good story

A lovely story about an elderly man (Doyle O'Shaughnessy) who dedicated his life to the running of his stables in the city of Montreal, and the horses in his care, especially one old cantankerous horse called Groucho.

I really enjoyed this book. It was easy to read, a wonderful character in Doyle O'Shaughnessy and his beloved horse. A gentle tale full of friendships, hardships, loss, and love.
