Can Megan let her guard down enough to experience the pleasures Greg has to offer?
As an erotic romance author who has spent hours researching the BDSM lifestyle, Megan thinks she knows all about it. But when she decides to explore it firsthand, she quickly learns that there's a lot she doesn't know.
Greg isn't your typical Dom. He's an artist, and his life is anything but organized. He likes Megan from the start. She's honest and he sees something different in her. The more time he spends with her, the more he finds himself acting in ways he never has before. He's developing feelings for her, and he's hopeful Megan might be feeling the same way, but every time he tries to get her to open up to him, it seems that she takes a huge step back.
Megan has a hard time expressing herself, a problem that only intensified when her ex criticized her every time she tried to share her feelings. As a result, she learned to bite her tongue and keep her emotions hidden. So when she begins to fall in love with Greg, she isn't sure how to tell him, or even if she should tell him. But she fears if she doesn't open up to him soon, she may lose him. Can Megan find the courage she needs before it's too late?

"Bound by Pleasure is Lacey Wolfe's first venture into the dark world of BDSM, and it is mild but steamy. Her characters are sexy and lovable, the plot was very realistic, and the sex was yummy – both in the playroom and out of it." Donna at You Gotta Read Reviews
Lacey Wolfe has always had a passion for words, whether it’s getting lost in a book or writing her own. Her goal as an author is to have a romance for everyone, whether it’s sweet, sensual, or spicy. She’s had several books on the Amazon best seller lists. When she isn’t writing, she can be found running, talking to her pets, spending time with her family, or lost in some sort of craft. Oh, and she takes kindly to anyone who feeds her cookies.
Lacey lives in Georgia with her husband, son and daughter, their herd of cats and one black lab who rules the house.
Thank you Thank you Thank you Lacey for the chance to read this amazing book before the rest of the world!
Megan fresh out of a bad marriage decides to try out the BDSM lifestyle with the help and support of her good friend Dawn. Megan writes erotic romance but isn't sure the lifestyle of a sub is really what she wants.
Greg loves being the Dom in every aspect of his life and is hesitant to bring Megan into the dom/sub world without any experience. She is not anything he is used to with his normal subs, but something about her makes him want her.
Without giving to much away... the relationship between dom/sub ends up to be quite different than either one of the expected! The ending of the story leaves it very open for another story involvind Dawn that I can't wait to see if Lacey writes.
I am not a big fan of BDSM stories but love all of the rest of Laceys books so figured I would love this as well, and boy did I ever. It has the perfect amount of BDSM and romance to make it very worth reading.
First and foremost, I would like to say Thank you to Lacey Wolfe for allowing me to be a member of her street team. I am honored to be a part of it. As a result, I was blessed to be able to read this gem of a story.
I am normally a fan of BDSM stories, but due to the fact that this story come from an author that I have read everything that she has published thus far, I had to give it a go. I was not disappointed and I am glad that I did read it.
What I enjoyed most about this story was the combination of the romance and the BDSM aspects. I don't want to give too much away because it would take away from the story.
Megan, who is our heroine in this story, is an author and recently divorced and looking to make changes in her life and experience the BDSM that she has written in her books. Her friend, Dawn, who is in the BDSM lifestyle leads her to Greg, the Dom in this story. What happens between them is powerful and I enjoyed watching it play out.
Maybe Dawn will get her story too as Lacey Wolfe left it wide open to write Dawn's story. *hint, hint* :D
Coming from a reviewer who isn't the biggest fan of the BDSM theme with my romance, I did enjoy this Upcoming Release from Lacey Wolfe.
Bound by Pleasure introduces Megan, an erotic romance writer who wants to enter into a sub/Dom relationship. With the help of a friend, she gets hooked up with Greg, an artist, who doesn't look like a typical Dom, but when it comes to the playroom, he wants his sub to follow the rules or suffer the consequences.
As Megan and Greg continue on in their "relationship", a real relationship begins to form. The two begin to fall for one another, but Megan feels as if she can't share her true feelings, and Greg doesn't want to scare Megan off, especially if she isn't ready for a sub/Dom relationship for life. These two have A LOT to discuss, if they could just get past the fears, they might have a chance at a real Happily Ever After.
As I mentioned, I am not a huge BDSM fan, I think it may have to do with the fact that I personally wouldn't like someone telling me what to do...haha, but I can actually find myself relating with the heroine, Megan, and all the questions she has about the lifestyle and if she can see herself actually making the full commitment. Ms. Wolfe writes the truth about what any woman would be feeling if thrown into the same position, or positions..hee hee. I am a BIG fan of the "eye roll"...read and you will understand!!
I enjoyed getting to know Greg and Megan, and watching as they tried to figure out what the other was feeling. Goes to show you that when you are just honest and get things off your chest, the outcome can be all you wanted and more.
This is a great, quick read for anyone who likes a romance with a little bit of naughty play on the side. I will continue to read Ms. Wolfe's romances since she has yet to let me down!!
Story Rating: (paddles) 4/5 Sting Factor: (kink) 3/5 Review: Megan is a writer just on the other side of a messy divorce. Her need to exert some control over her life has lead her to choose BDSM. Her friend Dawn recommended Greg as a Dom, but when she gets to his house, she is horrified to see the rampant disorder and chaos. What happened to Dom’s being in complete control of their surroundings? What about the rich tycoon stereotype? To say the least, it was not what she was expecting. Greg is an artist with a control streak that is met by his Dominant sexual nature. He meets Megan and as she dips her toes into the lifestyle beyond the book pile, he decides to take on this new sub and all the challenges she represents. The two characters dance around each other, both testing limits. She wants to see what it feels like to be in a Dom/sub relationship and he continues to test her limits. The kink is moderate and well done. One of the interesting points in this book is the Dom/sub relationship as determined by location. Should a sub be a sub in only the playroom or in other parts of the house? This issue is dealt with effectively, as is the power exchange between the two characters. What should the limits be between Dom and sub and what happens when one falls for the other, hard? This book was an enjoyable read with light BDSM, oral sex and anal play.
Lacey did it again....I thought. this was a great book. I am not a huge fan of BDSM books but this one was a good mix of BDSM and a love story. I would have liked it to a little longer...but not a deal breaker. sometimes a shorter book just hits the right spot. I love all of Lacey's books and this was no different.
I loved this story! Greg is right up my street as far as hero's go. Sexy, alpha and a true Dom in the playroom, but relaxed and good humoured the rest of the time. Can't wait for more sexy stories from Mrs Wolfe ;)
