OSR agents Park Skarda and April Force are back in another thrilling adventure!
At a remote meteorological station in the Arctic, OSR field officers Park Skarda and April Force discover corpses stripped of their flesh, the victims of a strange, unknown virus. And clutched in one of the bony hands, a black diamond, one of the rarest gemstones on the planet.
In a CIA prison cell in Lithuania, a freakish assassin waits in the dark for a call that will set him loose on a path of explosive destruction.
And on a tiny atoll in the Maldive Islands, a man with a virulent hatred of the United States is about to embark on his mission of terror, seemingly backed by the FBI itself.
When Skarda and April enlist the help of their microbiologist friend, Dr. Emily Ballard, they set in motion a deadly chain of events that will take them from Greenland to Antarctica to southern California in a desperate attempt to discover the true nature of the virus.
With the doomsday clock ticking down, they must race against time, disease, and certain death to stop their enemies from sealing the fate of the entire country.
“Diamond” is a novella of approximately 40,000 words or 160 printed pages.
A great novella or short story, with Park and April once againg saving the world. I really like these characters although at times think they must have super human powers and be indestructible because every which way they turn they end up in trouble of one sort or another, that said I would really recommend this and the two previous books, and I'm really looking forward to the next installment.
