Love this series! Arden and Troy’s journey together is so Satisfying. I can’t wait to read the next one.

First off - if you haven’t read the previous books, go read those now. It’s worth it.
Temporal Gifts gives us a bit of a return to early series Arden - “the old days” as she says. It’s fun and incredibly satisfying, as some long-loose threads are finally tied off and Arden comes to terms with deeply-held personal taboos in the process.
But the stakes are much higher now, as Arden has to find the balance between fairness and taking what’s hers. As one character advises her in a pivotal moment: “nobody changes a society by asking nicely.”
And then everything goes to shit—but I’ll stop there.
I can’t believe that in book 8 of this series, Hill still has me sitting on the edge of my seat and clapping in delight. Really looking forward to what’s next for Arden, Troy, and the rest of Otherside 💕

More of the glorious same. Arden’s best intentions bring nothing but trouble in a world plagued by duplicitous humans, Othersiders and gods. The story moves faster than ever, for once ending not on a cathartic up-note but rather calamity fraught with anticipation.
