Binge read the whole series in half a day and I loved it so, so much! I always love stories that have time travel just because they're that much more complicated so they take that much more effort and planning from the author(s).

The samurai feel made me think of Itsuwaribito, which I also enjoyed!

I loved the romance between Kagetora and Beni! At first I thought it was too much of instant romance, but later as I kept realizing more and more about their story and being connected over a large span of time--everything made sense and they are seriously a beautiful couple, fated to be together!

Loved this manga series!

Aw, poor Hitaki! When he was over his brother's grave, I was tearing up too :(

One thing that kind of bugged me though was how the characters talked about suicide. Don't get me wrong, I didn't want Hitaki to go screw up the timeline by saving his brother (unless he could do it in such a way that he and his brother could live in the future or something, so it didn't affect the past). But the way Rihito talked about suicide, about how it's a person's decision they made for a reason, so it's best to let them carry out their choice . . . That's some dangerous thinking right there. I understand that attitudes toward suicide are a bit different traditionally in Japan, that suicide can be an honorable alternative to disastrous outcomes. Still, it gave me the chills. If someone is suicidal, you should intervene, because usually the reasons aren't half as great as the person committing suicide believes them to be. I hope Rihito was speaking only in this specific case.
