Book 3 gets the same warning as books 1 and 2: If you don't like two alpha males interacting like they want to kill each other then go on to have violent sex instead, this book is not for you.
An interesting turn of events takes place on two fronts in this story. One is that Lasko joins Bessette's team, and they suddenly find themselves playing on the same side. Bessette is not at all comfortable with this. He still tells himself he hates Lasko. The second surprise is that when they do have their encounter "to sort thongs out", Bessettte takes and keeps the upper hand. Both of them are left totally lost after this one. It will be interesting to see where the final volume leaves off.
If you like two strong men fighting for supremacy both on and off the ice, if you don;t mind the sex being more than a bit violent and if you want to see Bessette dishing it out for once, you will probably like this short story.
