Appropriate for introductory courses in Organizational Behaviour. Organizational Behaviour, Sixth Edition, is a research-based text that provides a balanced approach of psychology and management methods and applications. This highly readable text combines comprehensive coverage with engaging features. Clearly presented theory is supported by real-world cases, discussion questions, and experiential exercises. While Canadian applications and examples are used, Johns and Saks make extensive use of international illustrations as well.
Read it for school. You seriously can't learn a whole lot about how people behave at work, de-escalation, conflict resolution and relationship management from this book. Like any other prescribed reading for a university course, it's extremely theoretical and wordy. It's got a few interesting case studies and such but the only real learning on Org behaviour that you'll ever get is from actually living and storming out weathers in your actual workplace. Or from a better book on this topic LMAO
